About: Animals have always had an extremely special place in my heart. Ever since I was a kid I’ve helped care for my family’s own pets: feeding them, caring for their health, giving baths, taking them outside and on walks, and pretty much anything else having a pet entails. I also am in the process of beginning volunteering with the cats and dogs at Lawrence Humane Society! I am a full-time student, but I am available whenever I am not busy with classes. I also have a few volunteering shifts throughout each week that I need to work around, and a job (that I will be done with next month). I provide them with food and water, clean up their litter, play with them, take the dogs on walks, and show all the animals lots of love! I am also flexible and open to doing whatever I am able to.

About: I am a canine enrichment coordinator at a boarding facility and I teach basic and intermediate manners training classes. I have a degree in behavior science and I'm hoping to complete my KPA training certification in the near future. Ask about enrichment and basic training add-ons! I work as a full-time enrichment coordinator and dog trainer. As such, I have restricted availability. In general I am free Monday, Tuesday, and Friday evenings and all day on Saturdays. “Jessie did a fabulous job with our two 50lb Bernedoodles. at a competitive rate at the time of our booking. Jessie did great to give us daily updates with picture and video. That is always reassuring. Our home was in great shape upon return, so she did more than just watch dogs. Would definitely use Jessie again. This was our 1st time having someone sit in our home. For us this seems to make a lot of sense to allow our dogs to be in their comfort zone. Jessie also had her service dog which was probably an added treat for our dogs. I could see this being a complication for some.”

About: I worked with a dog rescue for over a year. I was in charge of socialization of the severe abuse cases, exercising and feeding the 50+ dogs on our site. I have experience with 3 week old pups & bottle feeding, walking and loving on 150 pound dogs, and taking care of those with special needs & the elderly. I have personally fostered 10+ different dogs, usually strays I find. I'm a sucker for bully breeds and goofy ears, but all dogs will be sure to get excellent treatment and my undivided attention. I have one spoiled 9 year old hound mix with megaesophagus, so I'm used to giving pills to pups regularly! She's very chill and a good sport with all dogs and cats. I work a full-time job 8-5, M-F, but have flexibility to let dogs out over lunch! Let me spoil and love your pet like my own! I'm a full-time worker, but my job has extreme flexibility to let out pets over lunch or beforw/after work! I work 8-5p usually and can take a lunch whenever needed! I will always ask and adhere to whatever standards and schedule you have set for your pets! As for my dog, she is spoiled rotten. It's her world and I just live in it. That being said, she isn't destructive and is house trained. I do put on a vibrating/loud noise collar to deter barking when I'm not home since she is a hound. When she is outside on the lead, I sit on the porch with her for safety. Dogs are allowed on the couches and beds at my house. While I have a crate, I have never used it in the 3.5 years I've had my pup because I've never needed it. I have used crates with past fosters who benefited from that routine.

About: I love dogs. You can expect me to love and care for your dog while you are out. I will play with your dogs and take care of thier needs while you are away. I used to Foster dogs. I work as a security officer. I work Saturday through Tuesday. Monday and Tuesday are nights but can come before I go to work and I have 3 days off in the row that I will be able to come at anytime. I love dogs and like I said I work but would love to work with dogs on my free and days off that I have. It will help with extra money and I will get to love and show affection to dogs as well. I am currently not working at the moment so I have a pretty open availability at the moment. When that changes I will update it on here. I will care for my clients dog like I would my own. I will make sure to give them attention and take them out and play with them take them for walks. I would notify you if something were to happen or if I notice the animal was acting off. I give my dog lots of attention and love we cuddle with each other.
