On the day we needed her help she checked in with us, was on time, fed, watered and exercised him. Even sent us a bunch of great pictures and videos which was a nice touch. About: From the first moments I could remember, I have always been around and caring for dogs and cats. I'm also a professional equine bodyworker, with medical experience that is easily translated over to our smaller, 4-legged friends. I take a gentle and intuitive approach with animals, focusing on positive reinforcement. I will care for your pets as if they were my own. I have plenty of flexibility in my schedule. If staying at your home, I will never be gone for more than 8 hrs at a time. Weekends are usually no issue to schedule around either While staying at your home, I stick to the routine you have developed with your pets to make it as stress-free as possible. I recognize the importance of structure with dogs and cats, and losing that while their humans are away can be a big stressor. I will do my best to act as an extension of you while you are away to ensure the most personalized care.

About: I’ve had no less than two dogs around the house from childhood, and have experience with dogs of all sizes- jack russell to english mastiff! Growing up, we fostered dogs often, volunteering with Operation Delta Dog to aid service dog training for veterans. It’s always great to meet a new friend! As a part time worker with flexible hours, I have plenty of free time for walks and check-ins whenever necessary for you and your pup! I find that each dog and each owner is unique! I think it is important to respect the wishes of each owner- after all, you know your dog best!

About: I understand that the worst part of your day is leaving your dog. I absolutely love dogs and will guarantee that your dog will feel safe and happy at home when he/she is with me. I am the one amongst all of my friends that watch their dogs or simply take them out for a hike because they don’t have the time or energy. I have watched dogs from malamutes to Yorkies, and I’m a very active person that loved to exercise my late dog (as of March this year) with hikes to get his energy out! However, if a walk is all he needs or lots of attention at home I am happy to do that. I am a physical therapist and have just completed my canine rehab certification to work with animals and have also recently lost my Aussie of 10 years but not ready to have another, missing my dog interactions! I’m currently working PRN around western NY- I definitely have availability at nights for the long walks they may need and daytime hours are variable according to my work schedule, just ask ! I have availability to a fenced in yard, my apartment would require stairs however. I take frequent walks and can accommodate to your dogs schedule.

About: I am extremely detail-oriented, I love animals, and I’ve cared for a wide variety of pets my entire life, from cats and dogs to reptiles, birds, fish, and small mammals. Currently, I share my home with 3 cats, a dog, a bunny, fish, and 4 chickens, so I’m experienced and comfortable with all kinds of animals! All of my pets are good with each other, kids, and other animals. My wife Emily will also be assisting me in caring for your pet. About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals ever since I was young. I’ve had dogs, cats, and fish of my own and watched tons of other kinds for friends and family. I had a dog that was aggressive and highly playful energy so I am fully comfortable around dogs of all levels :) I am stronger than I look so I can handle dogs that pull too! I absolutely adore cats also, i have two babies of my own and have catsit many times too! I’m currently on a very flexible schedule, so I have plenty of availability to care for pets throughout anytime of the day and frequently if needed. About: All throughout my childhood, I had puppies and dogs to take care of. I loved animals the most in my family, so any pet responsibilities fell to me. I also take care of my sister’s dog when she is out of town. I will be available on weekdays anytime past 2 pm, except I am not available on Tuesdays. If you are at work or have an event that prevents you from being there to take care of your pet, I am able to come and help you out! **About my neighborhood** I live in Jefferson City. There are some nice trails by me and the Cherokee Dam! There is also Panther Creek State Park that has beautiful trails for walking and getting energy out! There is plenty of open land around that pets will love! **What to expect** I love playing with and showing animals how special they are which I am confident they will enjoy as well! I enjoy going for runs and long walks which they will too! The lake near me is one of the best spots to play and walk. **Special rules or requests** I am open to any size, and breed of dog, cat, etc. I do not have a preference on sizes of dogs. I also am not bothered by breeds of dogs, I truly believe that every dog is just as good as the next and the most misunderstood breeds of dogs are the most loving.
