About: I have experience caring for a wide variety of animals and have been around pets my entire life. Growing up, I cared for dogs, cats, hamsters, and guinea pigs, which helped me develop a strong understanding of animal behavior and needs. For the past four years, I have worked at Camp Bow Wow Airport in Metairie, Louisiana, where I have gained hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. My work has taught me how to provide safe, attentive care, recognize pet behaviors, and ensure dogs are comfortable and happy while away from their owners. In addition to my professional experience, I have also dog sat for family and friends, giving me experience with in-home pet care and maintaining pets' daily routines. I am passionate about animals and committed to providing loving, reliable care so pet owners can have peace of mind while they are away. Pet care is a natural part of my daily and weekly routine. I currently care for three dogs and four cats of my own, so my days revolve around feeding, providing fresh water, cleaning litter boxes, exercise, playtime, and making sure all of my pets are healthy, comfortable, and happy. About: I have doggy-sat many friends as a child, and stopped once I entered university. Most of these friends were small to medium sized but I am happy to care for larger ones! I can also help administer medications if needed. Tail wags are the aim for every visit! I am a recent graduate looking for work so I have plenty of time to care for your fur-babies! Happy to take early or evening walks and house visits. I like to play with pets or just cuddle if that’s more their vibe. Love giving enrichment toys so they aren’t bored and of course treats to all the good boys and girls!

This was the second time Britt watched my cat Pudding, this time with even more rigorous care instructions, and I couldn't have imagined better care for my kitty! My cat had a medical concern the night before the trip that needed monitoring, and Britt easily took that on and kept a close eye on her, which eased my worries. She also accommodated my cat's special feeding routine, which involved medication, setting up a feeder with frozen ice packs, ice cubes, washing, and more. My cat hasn't been alone for this many days before, so I was worried about her being sad and lonely, but clearly she was so happy during Britt's visits that the joy sustained her throughout the time she was alone, which we saw proof of through our pet cameras. I couldn't recommend Britt enough, I would give 500/5 stars if I could!
Cleaned 2 litter boxes quicker than me! Very attentive, polite, nice. I was in a tough position whereas I needed to go to the ER and the pet person I had chosen and met was unavailable by phone so I had to scramble and find someone else asap and Alexandria stepped up, stopped at the grocery store because I needed cat food and milk (I paid her for it). She was wonderful!

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
