About: Experienced pet owner and lover with 8 years of volunteer experience. I am comfortable with energetic puppies, large breeds, senior pets, and administering medications. I provide a safe, loving, and fun environment for your furry family members. Plus, I love taking pictures, so you'll get lots of happy photo updates while you're away! I am currently taking a break from my full-time career, my schedule is completely open. This allows for mid-day adventures, flexible potty breaks, and unlimited cuddles—your dog will literally never be alone. Your pet's safety is my top priority. My home is clean, safe, and fully pet-proofed. I have a secure environment and am vigilant about preventing escapes or accidents. To help them feel right at home, dogs are absolutely allowed on the furniture—couches and beds are welcome here! (Just let me know your rules at home so I can stay consistent).
“Zero has had a blast here on both of his stays. Chelsea and her family spoil Zero and he’s come back absolutely pooped & exhausted. Their whole family really loves having a furball around. Thank you Chelsea!”

“We recently moved to Naples and found Danayrys for a last minute request to watch Bowie. She took great care of him! I will definitely be requesting Dana for any dog sitting needs I have in the future!!”

“Lucy has a wonderful time with Alex and her pups!! Alex and her husband were both so sweet and I felt very comfortable leaving my baby in their care. Will definitely be seeing them again!”

“Katelyn was great!! She is extremely responsive, and she sent a lot of pics. My pup, Peaches, had fun playing with her kids and the other dog she was sitting. Peaches came home extremely tired after all the playing and fun she had. 10/10!! Will definitely go to Katelyn again to watch Peaches :)”

“Megan was amazing. She picked my girl up and came early so we could chat about what I was looking for. Megan took my pup out and about for a day on the town, and she came home soft, tired, and happy. It was perfect. We can’t wait to see her again. Highly recommend!”

“Debra and Garth are wonderful!!! Maple LOVED a being with Duke! She had a great day and I’m sure can’t wait to return! She was very relaxed after a full day of fun and play!! Thank you so much😃”

“Always greeted cheerfully. Our dog wallked right up to the front door, even though it’s only her second visit, which shows how comfortable she is going there. Very caring dog lover!”

About: Over the years, I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for my neighbors, friends, and family. I love the company that animals bring, and enjoy seeing all the different characters they truly are. I also love to walk so I figured why not combine the love of both! Loving, dependable, and detail-oriented — I care for your pets as if they were my own, making sure every tail wags and every whisker’s happy. Im currently a stay at home mom, with three great helpers (sons 13, 8, 6) that love cats and dogs as well, and are quite respectful and responsible with them. I am availble Monday-Friday to walk and play with your dog. I like to walk and be outside as much as possible. I prefer to give free reign to pets in my house. If yours needs/wants to be crated...thats ok, but not preferred. Your pets will be my friends.

About: I've been an animal lover and a pet owner for many years - started with my cat Sophie, then fourteen years with my Yorkie, "Little Squishy Guy", through all the puppy antics, vet runs, and lazy couch days...until he passed last summer. Now I dog sit for friends and neighbors: walks, treats, cuddles. Yours gets that same warm care. I can only host dogs under 40 lbs. I'm retired and mostly home, so I'm flexible - your pet can get walks, feeds, or playtime whenever you need. I'm here most days, so no rushed schedules or surprises - your dog gets steady attention. Mornings are good for walks or breakfast, afternoons for play or rest, evenings for quiet time. Late drop-off? Early pickup? No problem. I'm not leaving. I board pets right here at my house - daytime or overnight. It's quiet, clean, secure: we hang out on the lanai, soaking up beautiful weather, fresh grass underfoot, and the beautiful water view. No loud noises or strangers - just calm space for walks, meals, potty breaks, or chilling together. I live alone and retired, so I'm gonna be hanging out with your dog all day. Your pup gets one-on-one attention.
“Irisbel was amazing with my dog! Everything was perfect from start to finish, and I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in good hands. Great communication, very caring, and professional. I’m extremely happy with the experience and highly recommend her. I’ll definitely be booking with her again next time!”
“Erin and her family made our first time using Rover - or any pet sitter - a huge success. She was flexible with a last minute booking and her whole family was welcoming to our pup. We look forward to rebooking next time we need a sitter for our pup.”

“I will give Carlos & Claudia a 5 star rating. They took my dog in and made him feel comfortable even away from home. They send me picture at least twice a day and they answer very fast when I had questions. When I when to pick my dog, they were very nice and I could tell my dog had a blast. I will definitely recommend them and more so, I will be taking my dogs back. They are great. ?”
About: Hi, I’m Kayla! With nearly 8 years of experience as a preferred dog sitter, I provide a loving, reliable home where your adorable pet(s) will feel safe and happy. I share my space with my little Maltese (my absolute best friend!) who lives for making new dog friends. Your fur baby will have a buddy by their side, and plenty of attention, playtime, and snuggles. Whether it’s a weekend trip or everyday care, you can trust that your dog will be safe, loved, and treated like one of my own. I am available to do drop-ins anytime after 1 pm, any day of the week, (as long as those days/times are open for booking of course!) **** I can only provide boarding for dogs that don’t bark when they're left alone, as I have gotten a few complaints in the past.**** I provide thorough care for your pet(s) including feeding, walking, playtime and snuggles. While my primary experience is in general care, I have some training experience, having successfully trained my own puppy, now 3 years old. This includes basic commands such as sit, shake, come, and stay.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
