About: Ive been a pet owner for most of my life. I am always looking to channel my love into helping out with someone else's pet! I am a student and work part-time on the weekends. I have time in the mornings, late afternoons, and evenings to care for a pet. I have a park nearby I can take them too. I dont leave doors or windows open. About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, and have grown up around dogs. I currently own a German Shepherd and Coton De Tulear, both of whom are my pride and joy, along with the rest of our pack. I understand that these precious souls mean so much to so many people, and promise that under my care and supervision they’ll be treated with the utmost respect and love, just as if they were my own! Starting August 24th, I’m a full time student, so I’ll be available M/W - before 12:30 and Tu/Th - after 1pm, all day Friday, and no weekends. I can do full-day house visits (no overnights), drop-in’s, and walks. It’s all dependent on what my clients homes are equipped with! If you have a fenced yard and high energy dogs, I’m more than happy to take them outside to play and explore, or play inside. About: I’ve had pets since I was a child. Dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles, birds - you name it. I’ve always been an animal lover and even wanted to be a veterinarian until I found out was euthanasia is. In my adolescence, I began pet sitting and volunteering with the SPCA (where we adopted all of our pets); small and big dogs, and sometimes multiple at a time. I started to experiment with training and enjoyed teaching tricks and obedience commands. When I turned 19, I inherited my family dog, Rocco, and we became best friends. My favorite memories from those years are taking him to parks and reserves across New York State. In 2025, he got sick and I learned a lot from taking care of him through the end of his life. It was important to me that he felt like a happy, special dog during his last days because he filled my life with so much joy. The day before his euthanasia, I invited everyone who knew him to celebrate his life. He was showered in presents and treats and cuddles and surrounded by humans he loved. Animals share such unique bonds with us. Now, I am looking for opportunities to share my love of animals through Rover. I hope you consider me as your next pet sitter. I am available! My best times are evenings and weekends, with sporadic availability midday during the week. I work 8-4 Monday through Thursday at a local farm collective in Kirkville and a community garden in South Syracuse. In my free time, I enjoy making art in all kinds of media and being outside.
