She did two drop-ins for my cat Atlas—one Saturday night and one Sunday morning—and she was friendly, communicative, and really thoughtful. She sent tons of adorable photos (and even a video!) that honestly made my whole weekend. Atlas is usually wary with new people, especially when I’m not home, but he handled her visits really well — which is basically a win in my world. She also made getting my spare keys back simple by leaving them in the lockbox, which I appreciated. Overall, it was a great first Rover experience, and I plan to book Rebeccah again!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, and even chickens for more than 6 years! I’ve cared for pets for more than 15 families in the Valpo, Chesterton, and Crown Point areas. I love going for long walks and would be the perfect walking buddy for your dogs! I work remotely during the week, which allows me to be very present with your pets if you are gone on a trip. I work remotely full time, so I can be available any time during the day for overnight petsitting! I can be available in the mornings or late afternoons/evenings for dog walks. I don’t offer overnight stays for pets in my home, but I have a lot of experience petsitting and housesitting for families when they are gone on trips!

About: With 18 years of hands-on experience, I’ve cared for just about every kind of animal — dogs, cats, chickens, horses, snakes, and many more. From raising my own pets and helping family and friends to working in a veterinary clinic and as a professional dog groomer, I’ve developed a deep understanding of animals of all ages and personalities. Whether social or shy, young or senior, I know how to build trust and form a genuine bond. I’d love the opportunity to get to know your animals and provide them with the same thoughtful care I give my own. This is my secondary job, so on the days I’m scheduled to work elsewhere, there will be an 8-hour period during the day when your pets will enjoy some quiet time and rest — much like when you’re away at work. On those days, I’ll provide attentive care in the morning before I leave and again in the afternoon or evening, according to the schedule and arrangements we’ve discussed in advance. Because I have a full house of animals myself, I care for pets in their own homes to help keep them comfortable and stress-free. Staying in a familiar environment means they can relax without the pressure of meeting lots of new furry (or feathered!) friends. While in your home, I’ll follow the care guidelines you provide as closely as possible to ensure your pets’ routine and comfort are maintained. In the event of an emergency where you cannot be reached, I will consult with your veterinarian or designated emergency contacts as needed. I will also draw on my own extensive experience in animal care to ensure your pet remains as safe, comfortable, and well-cared-for as possible until you are able to be contacted.

I frequently take long walks with my dogs and would be happy to walk others pets to give them some extra exercise during the day. I can also pet sit as needed at client's homes. Because I have multiple pets of my own, I prefer to walk or pet sit near the home of the client. This also allows the pet to feel more comfortable as they are in their own space. About: I am a veterinary assistant and I am currently trying to get into veterinary school. I have the knowledge and experience to keep your pet safe and take action should any issues arise! I currently work full-time Monday through Thursday as a veterinary assistant. I can stop by during my lunch break and after work as needed, and I am available all day Friday-Sunday! I'm happy to accommodate any request that you might have for your pet, as I know that each one is unique and special in their own way! Personally, my dog has bad allergies, and I know how important it is for him not to deviate from his diet.

About: I have grown up around pets my whole life and have been trusted with family/friends pets for many years. I am very active and love to play and walk with pets as I have had border collies as family dogs. Having had many, I am familiar with dogs of all ages and understand how each pet differs from one another. I am in between jobs currently and, therefore, have a lot of time on my hands. This leaves a lot of space for pet care throughout the week when I am not traveling. I am willing to be at the client’s home as often as requested to care for the pet.
