About: Experienced with senior dogs, and I understand patience and gentleness they require. I’m attentive to their routine and health needs. I will treat them like family. I do not work and am available to sit for your dogs or they can come to my home. I will treat them like family. I do not have any other animals and could give my full attention to your dog. I have a peaceful environment at home and welcome the company.

About: At Williamson Animal Care and Control I volunteered walking dogs. I also received significant training in dog behavior and dog walking. After retiring from my career, I started my pet sitting and dog walking career. I took care of a rescued Great Pyrenees multiple times during the week and frequently overnight trips for over two years. I recently moved back to the Fort Wayne area from Franklin, TN. Three of my previous dog clients have shown interest in having me come back to stay with their dogs when they’re out of town for more than a couple days. Pet sitting and dog walking are my primary responsibilities along with taking care of my two cats. I have a very flexible and available schedule. I take pride and making sure that the client’s home is as good if not better when I entered. I will walk the dog, feed or treat, make sure the water bowl is full and also if appropriate snuggles.

About: i have been a pet sitter for friends and family for many years. I have owned several dogs and cats, and I currently have four kitties as my sweet dog passed away a few years ago. I also care for/feed five feral/community cats that I worked with Humane FW to trap, spay/neuter and vaccinate, and I supply them with heated cat houses. I have experience with elderly animals as well as special needs animals with food restrictions and allergies. I currently work part-time from home and make my own hours, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pet(s)! My schedule is so flexible that I am available for drop-in visits, walks, playtime or overnight stays most days of the week. I have almost 30 years of experience in management, and I will care for your home and pets as if they are mine. I love to play with animals and walk dogs, and I also enjoy caring for them. Whether it's an elderly animal or one with special needs, I have a variety of experience and can care for your fur baby.

“Amy is great with cats and dogs and incredibly responsible. She sent photos and a summary of the visit every time she stopped in to visit the cats. We will definitely use her again!”

Rita W.
“I’m writing to highly recommend Rita as a responsible and caring pet sitter. Rita has watched our two cats, Trixie and Carol Channing, on multiple occasions, and we’ve always felt completely confident leaving them in her care. Trixie can be quite shy, but Rita has a gentle and patient nature that quickly earned her trust. She always took the time to make Trixie feel comfortable, often staying a bit longer than expected just to ensure both cats were happy and relaxed. Her dedication and genuine love for animals really shone through. Rita was consistently reliable and communicative. She kept us updated with messages and photos during each visit, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. It was clear from the pictures that both Trixie and Carol Channing were calm and content under her care. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Rita to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter. She’s been a wonderful presence in our cats’ lives and a huge help to us.”

Sarah B.

“Sarah is a wonderfully caring and kind person who is super conscientious and responsible! I completely trust her with any of our pets because I know she will give them the very best care. She has a lot of experience with caring for pets and also a lot of work experience that proves how responsible and dependable she is. She worked with us at our cat cafe and was absolutely terrific at customer service, caring for the cats, cleaning up after them, advertising for us, and doing any task with very little direction. She was a lifesaver and huge support to our small business. The cats loved her too! She was a key holding manager and we would have her come back without hesitation. She has always been very easy to communicate with, and has such a great work ethic and so much positivity! Sarah is a remarkably trustworthy and hardworking person. I highly recommend her!”

Rachel M.Star Sitter
“Rachel is great with my dog Cooper - she plays ball with me and gives me belly rubs too. My dog is always happy to see her and her daughter.”
Valley Place pet parents share their Rover experiences
Wes has done a fantastic job with drop-in visits for my goldendoodle. She's still in her puppy phase, and he makes time for walks and playing in the backyard. He has always been on-time and communicates well after each visit. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for dog care!

Hannah was very good with my dog Lucy and cat Toby. She was prompt and spent the time we expected with them. She followed my instructions very well. She sent pictures and gave report cards. It was great. I didn’t worry at all as I knew they were in good hands! I will definitely call on Hannah again!

Lilli is simply the best! She has watched my fur babies a number of times now. I travel a lot for work and sometimes I don’t get a lot of notice. Her flexible schedule makes my stressful trips away as stress free as possible and knowing my boys are in good hands while I am gone is everything!
