About: I've grown up with animals of all types and have extensive experience with dog behavior and training. I have a calm yet confident presence when working with animals that allows them to respect and respond appropriately. I currently have a 7 yr old Shih Tzu and a 2 yr old Maine Coon, and help my mom and siblings and daughter with their own dogs frequently (a Goldendoodle, a Frenchie, a Husky, and another Shih Tzu). For drop-in visits, I am fully available Sat/Sun, but Mon-Fri I'm only available between 6:00-7:30am and any time after 4:00pm. About: I have been an animal lover since as young as I could remember. I can provide your furbaby with a loving home away from home. I have experience of 4 years fostering with local rescues and the Stockton Animal shelter. I primarily have worked with cats and kittens ranging from 4 weeks to adults cats. I also have a cat of my own, who loves the company of other cats and kittens. In my home there is a dedicated space to play and have access to a cat tower that overlooks a bird feeder for bird watching - this is an HUGE hit with my own furbaby. This room also is quiet and provides a calm and secure room for furbabies that may be a bit more on the skiddish and shy side. Ensuring that your pet is comfortable and safe is my biggest concern. I am second grade teacher and while the some days are longer than most, I will have plenty of time to dedicate to your fur baby! I have a cat of my own and playtime is an important part of our day. You furbaby, will be able to roam freely and explore my home as if it is their own, unless you prefer otherwise. I also have an office space that doubles as a room dedicated to my cat that is filled with toys for enrichment!
