“We had a wonderful experience again with Kathy! We booked her for a longer trip ~7 days to drop in on our kitties. Kathy did an excellent job and was flexible with the difficulties of communicating while overseas. Our kitties were well taken care of while we were gone thanks to her. Will definitely book again in the future!”

“Emily took great care of my three kitties while I was gone. She was wonderful at communicating and following the instructions I left. The litter area is clean and she watered my plants! I highly recommend her for your pet care. A+++”

“Amy was absolutely wonderful!! Our daughter was getting married in Elkhart Lake about an hour away from our home. There were some changes in the planning and schedule and Amy just rolled with it, including adding a second dog into the mix! Thank you for taking such good care of Riley!?❤️”

“Second time booking Liz in two weeks and she was great once again! Even took care of our outdoor plants for us which we really appreciated. Can’t recommend her enough!”

“Lexi was great! She was very prompt, treated our kitties as if they were her own and even brought one of her favorite cat toys along to get ours to play more which they did! I think we will be buying that cat toy. We will definitely want her to take care of them again when we go away next. It’s a huge relief to find someone to trust with our cats.”

“Sydney connected with Leo very well on our meet and greet, which is hard to do because of his age and anxiety. From the photos she shared they had a good first visit.”

About: Hi, my name is Missy I've had a great deal of experience with all different kinds of animals. I worked with a local vet helping place feral cats in homes and providing excellent care for them. Including helping pregnant feral cats with delivery and maternal care. I have volunteered at the Wisconsin Humane Society. There I worked in the Wildlife rehabilitation center as well as the dog care center. I currently own dogs and cats of my own and I recognize how important it is to provide excellent care as well as exercise and playtime. I have past experience in boarding and dog sitting in my home which has always been a great experience. Can't wait to give the love and care your dog(s) deserve!
“Initially, Ivy came over for a meet and greet and our dogs took to her quickly, which is always a huge sign for me! Since then she’s been accommodating, personable, easy to communicate with and great with our dogs! I’d highly recommend her!”

“Erica was very thorough and did a wonderful job taking care of Cooper at lunchtime. You can definitely tell she cares about dogs. We would recommend her and use her again to care for our pup.”

“We are so glad Kristine was available on Christmas Day to check on our cat. She came a few days prior on late notice for a meet and greet and provided a nice update!”

About: I have had dogs of my own since I was 9 years old. I LOVE dogs--especially small ones! I have trained all of my dogs. I board friends' dogs in my home all the time, and am now excited to move into boarding strangers' dogs here on Rover! I work full-time, a mix of in-office and at home. I work from home on Thursdays and have flexibility on Fridays, so it works best for me to be able to provide boarding on long weekends (Thursday-Sunday). I am happy to provide your pet with seamless care and match what they are used to in your home. I have a large yard and a quiet neighborhood. My home has many rooms and I have some gates so that I can separate pets if needed. I also have a puppy play pen for smaller/younger pups who need their own space.
About: I have had a dog of my own for nine years and think I would be a great fit to take care of your animal. I know what to do in different situations with dogs and cats because I have babysat dogs and cats before. I have a lot of free time to properly take care of your animals. I am willing to spend more time and really make sure your satisfied with my visit. I spend time taking them for walks, grooming them, and just spending time with them. I love exercising my dog and making sure he gets treats for his good behavior.

“Scott made my last minute trip (on a holiday weekend!) stress free. Quick responses, great communication, took great care of my senior dog. Luna looks forward to your next visit Scott.”

“Jeremy was an amazing cat sitter! Both my cats were immediately comfortable and really grew to like Jeremy’s daily visits and play time. Super responsive and always sending lots of pics for me to check in on- it’s was such a relief to have them in Jeremy’s care. Highly recommend!!!”
About: I've had multiple dogs over the last 30 years. Mainly Bull Mastiffs, Border Collie Mix, and multiple Pitties. We lately have been adopting older dogs to give them the best end of life possible. For friends I've watched many smaller to larger dogs, comfortable with all. I have experience with all sorts of meds and care, although I prefer to stay away from anything with needles when possible. We've been to the vet more times than I can count, and have gotten good at understanding/reading dog behavior and signs of distress. I have experience with all soft of personalities...shy or alpha, lazy or rambunctious, etc. I like to understand them and work with them where they are at so they enjoy themselves and are happy. I'm a pretty calm presence and in general dogs trust me right away. My wife will joke that I am a dog whisperer as dogs tend to follow my lead easily, but I think it is simply being confident and projecting that you are there to take care of them. I have a very flexible work schedule and am home most of the time. I only have 1 dog right now (Oscar, 82 lb Pitty who loves everything and everyone...he walks around with soft toys like they are his dolls), but will likely be back to 2 in the near future. I walk my pup(s) pretty much every day. We live near Hart Park and the Oak Leaf Trail so getting out to walk along the river/parks is very easy. New to doing this formally rather than just for friends. Normally watch friends dogs at their place. If we take care of your pup in our home, we will always have 1+ pups that will be other-dog friendly. My wife and I have a small Tosa home but fully fenced-in yard to be able to let them out at any time day or night without worry. We have a small main floor but it has 3-4 dog beds and multiple toys (prefer dogs who are ok with soft toys, as our pup(s) don't rip those up. Will likely prefer caring for your pup in your home, it simply mitigates the crowding in the house and any potential conflicts. If I look after any cats, those would be at your house. We no longer have cats and aren't prepped for that in any way.
About: I recently lost both of my dogs and while I'm not ready for a new dog, I'd love to take care of yours. I'm very active and love taking walks. I cared for my own very senior dog for several years. I work 10-6 Monday through Friday. I can walk morning and evenings and if required I'm close to my job to stop home mid day. I have a fairly large back yard with a tie up but will more likely take the dog for walks. I live in a safe neighborhood by myself and I have no other pets at this time.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Valley Forge
This was our first experience using Rover, and we couldn't be happier with Kathy's care. From the start, she made the process easy by suggesting a meet-and-greet with us and our cats, which we really appreciated. While we were away, Kathy took wonderful care of our cats and even kept an eye on our garden. She sent photos of the cats and left thoughtful updates after each visit, giving us peace of mind that everything was going well at home. We highly recommend Kathy and would happily book with her again!
Sydney helps me by letting my 14 year old dog out while I’m working. He really likes her and I do, too! She is reliable, helpful, gives him treats, and makes it possible for me to work my full day without coming home to accidents. She just understands him and his limitations as a sweet old guy. 🐶🤎
