About: I’ve grown up around dogs and cats my entire life, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I have hands-on experience with daily feeding, walks, playtime, and lots of love and attention. I’ve also regularly cared for friends’ and family members’ pets while they’re out of town, making sure their pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for in their own routine. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always prioritize their happiness and well-being. As a teacher, my schedule allows me to be home in the evenings and on weekends, giving me plenty of time to provide attentive and consistent pet care. Because my time outside of school is flexible and dependable, I can give your pet the care, attention, and companionship they deserve. I provide loving, hands-on care tailored to each pet’s needs. At home, I have two cats and a dog, so I’m very familiar with balancing playtime, exercise, and daily routines. About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life and currently have four large dogs – three of my own and one foster. Joining the Rover community lets me share my passion for caring with other pet owners. About: I am a medical student who loves animals and loves working with them. I have had pets for my whole life and also worked at the local shelter for my four years of high school, so I have a lot of experience with taking care of animals of all sizes. Currently I have a cat and large dog. I have also taken pet CPR and First-Aid classes, so I will always be prepared if an emergency occurs. I am pretty flexible with my hours and I am based in Charleston, WV and am more than willing to travel a little bit farther in order to take care of your pet and satisfy their needs. I am a huge animal lover and have a lot of experience with taking care of animals and will always make sure you and your pet are satisfied.
“We loved working with Carlee and will definitely use her again! She took excellent care of our Minnie while we were away and gave the best updates so we knew exactly how miss Minnie was doing. Carlee was professional, thorough, and so kind! Thank you, Carlee!”

“Devin and Alexis went way, way beyond what was expected. If one of their goals is not to leave a footprint in the house (evidence that they had stayed in the house), then they exceeded expectations. And what a relief knowing that my cat was being treated exactly the way I wanted. That is of utmost importance. 5 stars plus. Thank you Devin and Alexis. See you next time, for sure.”

“Allysa cared for my two elderly cats while I was out of town for two weeks. She kept in close communication with me about the cats, and was very responsive to my concerns. On two different occasions, she went “above and beyond” to ensure my cats were well cared for, and I am very grateful for her efforts! I will definitely be using her services again!”
About: I have been a pet owner for over 20 years. When I was in college I became the go to pet sitter to watch my friends and family pets for years. Because I am a bit of a stronger person, my friends know that I can handle some of their bigger dogs tugging on the leash. Also, with my beard, dogs think I am one of them. I am currently a remote worker and I can take as much time as I need to take care, play, walk, feed or whatever the client needs. Because I am a big lug myself, I allow pets to have fun and be happy loving animals. I give off alpha dog energy and dogs will understand the deep serious tone in my voice, but will also respect me after I give them lots of love and treats.

About: I specialize in cats and understand that many cats are far more comfortable staying in their own home while their owners are away. I’ve cared for and managed a colony of 22 cats since 2024, including coordinating TNR (trap-neuter-return), socialization, medical observation, and placement of 19 kittens into homes. Through this experience, I’ve become very knowledgeable about feline behavior, feeding routines, litter maintenance, health monitoring, and working with shy, anxious, independent, or timid cats. I respect each cat’s individual comfort level and temperament and do not force interaction. My goal is to provide calm, reliable care that helps your cats feel safe and comfortable while you are away.
“Shelby was so awesome with our cat Shiloh! She is a great communicator and easy to get a hold of when you need her. She was great at providing updates on how our kitty was doing while we were away!”

About: My passion and love for animals began at a very early age. I decided to pursue that passion professionally wise. I currently work as a surgical veterinary assistant and it’s my passion. I work well in high intensity situations and calm ones too. I am certified in Veterinary Emergency and Critical care, and certified in Fear Free. I am currently in school to become a Veterinary Technician as well! I currently am not working so I have a lot of free time and I am very flexible with working with your schedule for your fur babies! Being a fear free provider is very important to me. I do everything to make sure your animal is comfortable. I will always keep myself and furry friends safe. I am willing to accommodate to owners needs for their pets. My priority is to keep your pet happy and safe!

About: Hey pawrents! I'm Paige - your pet's new best friend! I have had puppy dogs my entire life and have been taking care of friends’ and family's pet kids for years. I have one child at the moment; a senior husky-mix, Nala, who loves to play, but she is good at reading others' behaviors. I have done boarding in the past, but residing with family at the moment, so I am only doing house sittings and drop-ins in the Charleston-South Charleston area only. I work a usual schedule of 6-2:30pm M-F in downtown Charleston, which allows for late afternoon and evening availability during the week, as well as the potential for a midday potty break during lunch, depending on location. I know how important it is to have someone you can trust to take care of your pets. I'm happy to offer that for you. I promise to treat your loved ones like my own - with love, patience, and lots of belly rubs! I do not currently accept cat care due to allergies I am a federal government employee, so please note I have had an extensive background check and am fingerprinted. Since I’m currently not offering boarding, I care for pets in their own home through house-sitting and drop-in visits. With house-sitting, I stay in your home and provide full-time care — feeding, walks, playtime, and companionship — while also keeping an eye on your home, bring in mail, water plants, and make sure everything stays tidy and secure. For drop-ins, I stop by for quick visits to check in, feed, walk, or play with your pets. I can usually do morning, evening, and even a midday visit during my lunch break if needed. My goal is to keep your pets happy and comfortable in their own space while you’re away.

Whom also works with animals for a living look no farther!! I also bath doggies for an extra charge just ask! I currently run my own business (Dog Grooming) in my own home so I will constantly be with your doggy and have tons of experience! Although I don’t have a fenced in yard. I have a very safe and friendly neighborhood I can walk your doggie in. I also have a small fenced section in my yard. “Destiny and Benjamin did an amazing job with our difficult little dog. We only needed help for a few days and they were able to meet with us last minute and agreed to help us out. Our dog is little but she is pretty shy and becomes protective of our home. They were still able to get her to go outside for a potty break, which is all we really needed, but they even got her to go to the park and play fetch for awhile! That is an amazing feat for strangers with our dog. We are so grateful for their help and would highly recommend them!”

“Josie did such a great job taking care of our dog! He is 11 months old and very energetic but he came home happy and tired from all of the fun he had! I felt so comfortable leaving my handful of a puppy with her and will definitely use her again!”

“I was thoroughly impressed with her care for Zeus. I would highly recommend her to other pet owners. I was gone for a about a week and I knew he was in good hands with her. She also answered quickly and was very accommodating. Thank you from me and Zeus Olivia!”

“Ashleigh was wonderful. She took care of our 2 fur babies while we were out of town ant her home and sent us updates and photos periodically. She took the babies on walks and cuddled with them when they were nervous about being somewhere new.”

“Chelsea was great with our dog, Donny! We boarded Donny at Chelsea’s house while we were out of town. Chelsea was quick to respond to texts, very friendly, and professional . She offered to pick up and drop off Donny, which was very helpful. Donny had a great stay and was well cared for and happy. I definitely recommend Chelsea! We will use her services again in the future.”
