About: I’ve been a mom to small dogs most my adult life. I currently have a chill 7 lb shih tzu mix that would love company on our two daily walks. I work part-time and am never away for more than 4 hours. (Often my college age son is home when I’m out) I’ve taken care of very young pups as well as older dogs requiring medications and special diets. I’m responsible and loving, doing my best to keep pups content while their people are away. I’m communicative and responsive and provide daily pupdates. I work two to three days a week for no more than 4 hours, so I’m home a lot. I have a 6 year-old shih tzu mix that I walk twice a day so I have a good routine established. My college age son lives with me and is super helpful and responsible. Generally if I’m out, he’s home to give extra potty breaks and belly rubs. My back yard is quite big and securely fenced-lots of room for sniffing! My house is cozy and comfortable-I’m happy to have pups on my lap on the couch and in my bed for the night.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 8, from newborn puppies to senior dogs with special needs. I love playing fetch, cuddling on the couch for quiet time as well as running around together in the terraced backyard. About: I've loved and cared for dogs for 20+ years — and it's the senior and high-needs ones that have shaped me most as a caretaker. I've worked professionally as a dog walker and sitter, volunteered on a farm tending to sheep, pigs, and cows, and have logged years of animal care across a wide variety of contexts. When I mentioned that Luca likes to look out windows during the day, they made efforts to ensure that he could do just that at their house :) Another thing I appreciated was how much info they asked upfront in our meet and greet in order to meet all of Luca’s needs and understand the manners/rules he follows when he’s at home (e.g. no table food, sitting & waiting before taking his food). This was very considerate and showed a lot of respect for Luca’s norms :) Luca got lots of love, lots of walks, and lots of space to roam during his stay! We would bring Luca back to stay with them in a heartbeat! If you’re looking for a family that will love your dog like their own and do everything they can to make your pup at home while you’re away, Leah and Leio will be the right fit for you.”
“Jana and her family have been an absolute gift. Summer is a very reserved, apprehensive little dog who has never stayed in someone else's home before, so I was understandably nervous. From the moment we met, Jana and her family were patient, gentle, and took the time to earn Summer's trust rather than expecting it. They cared for her as if she were their own, and I had complete peace of mind knowing she was safe, comfortable, and in such a calm, loving home while our house was filled with the chaos of repairs, packing, and moving. Summer came home happy and relaxed, and I've already booked Jana again for several more stays. I couldn't recommend her more highly.”

“I highly recommend Elle for all your dog sitting needs. She was warm, communicative, and most importantly, took great care of our two dogs. She seems to truly love and understand our dogs and is very patient and affectionate toward them. One of them is quite young (just over a year) and high energy and I felt confident that Elle would be able to manage him and make sure he got what he needed and he even made new pup friends while he was there, which is great for his socialization! Our other dog is older and much mellower and was on several medications, and Elle made sure he got them all when needed. I’ve worked with several dog sitters over the years both on and off Rover and I can say that Elle is one who I have great confidence in to handle any situation! Highly recommend!”
