I have plenty of experience from having cats of my own my whole life and working in vet med caring for cats of all kinds with all different needs in stressful situations. I will take the time to get to know your babies and take things at their pace building trust and making your kitty feels as safe as they can. I scoop litter boxes daily and keep food dishes clean. Depending on the cats comfort level and temperament I am able to trim nails, brush, administer medications (pill, transdermal, injectable), subcutaneous fluids, etc by myself. For me cats are always inside unless specifically told they go outside, catios are great!

About: I currently work from home and have a good-sized and fully fenced yad. I've lived with dogs for my entire life and current have four of my own - all Border Collies. I compete in dog agility and also enjoy trick training. I volunteered at Seattle Humane Society for many years, including as a volunteer trainer assistant in the Reactive Rover program. I've had a couple of reactive rovers myself and am familiar with fear and fear-based aggression. I employ positive reinforcement training on my own dogs and with dogs I have worked with. Since training and competing in dog sports, as well as actively hiking in the Pacific Northwest has been my passion for the past decade, I have decided to make good use of the skills I've acquired. Dog that stay with me will be treated to plenty of outdoors time and if they are up for it - some hiking! I work from home and go out every day for a walk with dogs. On Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday I'm out hiking with dogs and would love to bring guest dogs out for some fun too! I have a fairly flexible schedule but do have some weekends blocked off as I do participate in dog sport events. I also have my own dogs so client dogs must be friendly toward other dogs. I have been able to personally own and take care of a wide variety of pets, from large German Shepherds to small Pomeranians to cats and even lizards and snakes. I currently have a big fluffy Bernese mountain dog who will be turning 3 in October. I love working with owners to ensure that their pet is treated just like they would be at home. I will provide an outstanding level of care and attention for your family and look forward to working with you! I currently work from home and have a flexible schedule. This allows me to get plenty of time in with my own pup each day, and let’s me watch additional pets during the week. Weekends can often be busy, but if planned ahead of time we can watch a furry friend then too. I have a fully fenced yard for supervised play and potty time. I also own additional bowls, and a full sized crate if needed. A block and a half down the street is a mostly fenced park I take my pup to play in as well if more space is needed. The neighborhood is great for walks, but does have several hills which can be difficult for older, larger dogs. My dog only needs about 30 min a day of play-time, but if yours needs more we can plan for that too.

About: I have had dogs my whole life but for the past 23 years I've raised 3 dogs with my husband. I have gone through all life stages with my dogs. I can provide play time, take them for walks or just let them play in our small enclosed deck. Since I work from home for the past 14 years I can give them lots of attention. I have taken care of pets ranging from cats, small breed dogs, and large breed dogs. I have an Australian Shepherd that I have trained from the time she was seven weeks old. About: - I am home all day (just my dog and I). - I have a fully fenced yard, often featuring an agility course and splash pad. - I have an entire room full of dog toys and treats. - I'm more than happy to send you photos of your dogs while you're away (at your request), as I know how hard it can be to be away from your dog. - The home is large and spacious and is well set-up for any breed of dog. - I have a 4.5 year old female Aussie who I have trained and cared for since she was 8 weeks old. - I have lived with dogs my whole life. - I am experienced with dog training (from puppy to adult; tricks, behavior, and agility). - By default, dogs are allowed in all places of my home. - I have most dog suppliers: toys, treats, puppy pads, first aid kit, dog beds, etc. Your dog will receive my undivided attention, care, and play when they board with me (both indoors and outdoors). I will make sure your dogs receive sufficient activity (If they are healthy enough for it). If your dogs like to play fetch, they're especially in luck here. I have a fenced yard and a large dog-safe home for dogs of any age. I will only crate your dog if you request it.

“Leaving my 21 month Boston with Kirsten and her family for 6 nights was my first experience of leaving my dog with anyone overnight. We have been together almost 24/7 since I got her as a puppy as I work remotely. We had a fantastic experience! At the meet and greet Kirsten made the effort to connect and relate to Lucy and invited us to experience where she would be living and playing. As well as introducing her to dogs she would be playing with. It all was very reassuring. Lucy clearly enjoyed Kirsten and her family. She was happy to be there, and it was the perfect place! I’m happy to know now that Lucy can stay at Kirsten’s to so I can feel free to travel through the future! Highly recommend!!”

“Amanda watched our working line GSD for over a week while we were in Hawaii and she has watched him in the past for doggy daycare. She is the real deal and it made all the difference knowing he was safe and well cared for while we were gone. You can tell she has a ton of experience with dogs and other animals. She loves them yes but also understands how to keep them safe and set reasonable boundaries. Her property is ideal for dogs too with a big fenced yard and kennels. 10/10 recommend!”
