He was having big trouble before my trip, as he’d recently lost his brother – so I was extremely worried about leaving him. Felicia took that to heart and loved on him as if he were her own. She must have a sixth cat sense, because my cat is very shy and skittish; despite that, he quickly became comfortable with her, and even endured a building-wide alarm test without any residual trauma upon my return. About: Hello! I am 27 years old, and I used to own and adore 2 rat terriers and 4 cats, and took care of 3 others who all lived in the same house! While I no longer get to see them since I moved, I still love and adore animals. I've had the pleasure of petsitting for friends, 2 larger dogs, and 2 cats l. All of whom are adorable... Due to seasonal work, I'm not currently as available as I'd like to be, and will be working a sporadic schedule for the next few months. But other than that, I do my best to be available for whatever the pet needs, whether it be feeding, cleaning litter, taking them on walks, or sitting overnight. About: I’ve been a cat person for as long as I can remember. As a shy kid, cats were my favorite animals, and whenever we visited a home with a cat, I’d happily spend hours patiently earning their trust until they felt comfortable coming out for pets and attention. Although we didn’t have a cat of our own growing up, I started caring for our neighbors’ cats when I was around 10 years old because everyone knew how much I loved them. Since then, I’ve cared for all kinds of cats, from feral and shy cats to playful kittens and senior cats with special needs. “Debbie is truly a gem! She took incredible care of our dog Koda while we were away. From the moment I dropped him off, I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such loving and capable hands. Debbie sent tons of adorable photo updates that showed Koda going on long walks, getting plenty of playtime, and soaking up so much love. It was clear she treated him like one of her own. Koda also made a new best friend—her sweet black lab, Sammy—which made his stay even more special. When I picked him up, he was so happy and relaxed, and I could tell he had the absolute best time. I will definitely be booking with Debbie again. Can’t recommend her enough!”

About: I have always loved dogs. I grew up with a black lab (age 5-18), and when I was in high school I frequently watched dogs and cats in a pet sitting capacity. Pet sitting for neighbors and friends was my first job, and as soon as I got my drivers license, I expanded my pet sitting clientele. As an adult, my husband and I had a rescue dog (Pitt/lab mix) who was our fur baby. When we adopted her, she had separation anxiety and resource guarding issues. We worked with a trainer to help her overcome those issues, and were grateful for the wonderful years we enjoyed with her. Unfortunately, she died in early 2025. While we are not in a position to have our own dog right now, we would love to continue to snuggle and support local dogs through pet sitting. We do have a toddler at home. She loves dogs and we would never leave her unattended with any animal. While we will be careful to ensure any dogs in our care are set up for success by being separated from our toddler with baby gates, etc., we are only able to host dogs who are comfortable around small children. I am a middle school teacher, so I have full-time availability during school breaks and the summer. I am also available to drop in before and/or after my work, depending on the location. My husband, Cristopher, works from home and loves having a dog as his co-worker to be let out on demand. As dog owners, we never left our own dog home alone for more than 4-5 hours, and we will only accept a boarding booking if our schedule allows the same time commitment to your dog. We treat all dogs like they are our own. As a former pet parent, I know that I can never replace you, but I will do everything I can to make sure your dog feels comfortable and safe in my care. We have a fenced yard with no animals in our home (except for the occasional wild bunny). Our yard has plenty of space for dogs to run around and play.
