Not only did she help me urgently but she took the time to ask me appropriate questions and listen to anything I felt was important regarding the dogs behavioral needs and flaws. From being a picky eater, mostly untrained, hyper, suffering from separation anxiety, and needing guidance to play with other dogs Darby was prepared, knowledgeable, and kind handling it all. In the other hand, Kai is a medium size old doggy, he gets very excited with new pets but a few minutes later he just ignore them and likes to go back to take long naps on the couch. I have 2 friendly indoor cats, they mostly spend the day sleeping inside the bedroom or playing with the dogs from time to time.

About: I have worked with both puppies and senior dogs, i have 2 poochon puppies that are 1 year old. I am currently going to school to be a vet technician and I volunteer at the animal shelter in the cat and dog rooms. I have experience handling all different types and sizes of dogs. Im a college student and currently working part-time in the late afternoons. So I have plenty of time to walk, play and give potty breaks! I have a fenced yard suitable for small to medium dogs. I have a large room that I can close off that has tile flooring and access to the backyard and also have pens if dogs need to be separated.

About: I've been a pet lover since I was a kid. I started with frogs, lizards and snakes, and graduated to cats and dogs. Until I was able to have dogs of my own, I spent over 10 years pet-sitting for friends and family, volunteering in animal shelters, and have even worked in 2 seperate doggy daycares. My MO is always long walks and lots of attention. I have 2 dogs of my own, a cumulative 17 years of pet raising experience. I have experience caring for sick pets and administering medication both orally and subcutaneously. I've had my pups since they were young and would consider them very well trained. If you're looking to work on certain behaviors, I can absolutely work on that during their stay. I have a fenced yard, a safe neighborhood for long walks, and for longer stays, expect your dog to enjoy a nice hike! I mostly work from home, so for daycare your dog(s) would never be alone and would have access to my fully fenced backyard whenever they want. During the week, I can do a long walk during my lunch break, and another after work. Weekends I tend to go hiking, so if your pup enjoys nature, they will for sure have a great time. Due to my variable work schedule, I cannot accommodate recurring appointments. My yard is fully fenced, and I have 2 friendly dogs. Safety is paramount, so dogs would be supervised while in the yard together. If your dog requires a crate, I have both a plastic and soft sided kennel for indoors.

Brian did a wonderful meet and greet with my boys (two newfoundlands) and walked them today without me..that may seem like a strange thing to say but Byron (my younger boy) refuses to go on a walk for anyone but me - not even my husband! He was perfectly fine on going on the walk with Sinjin (my older boy) and Brian. No temper tantrums, no refusal to walk. NONE of it. Brian took them on a good walk, they had fun and their were no problems.”

About: I have been taking care of Dogs, Cats, and small Reptiles for a combined 10 years. I love to snuggle on the couch, go for walks, and chase the local squirrels. Not only did she help me urgently but she took the time to ask me appropriate questions and listen to anything I felt was important regarding the dogs behavioral needs and flaws. From being a picky eater, mostly untrained, hyper, suffering from separation anxiety, and needing guidance to play with other dogs Darby was prepared, knowledgeable, and kind handling it all. She sent great updates with pictures included during our stay that helped bring a sense of relief to our first time using extended stay on Rover. We will be seeking out Darby’s services again in the near future for my two adult GSD mixes because I have full confidence and trust in her abilities. Finding good hearted genuine people can be quite difficult and I am so thankful we met!”

“I had an unusual situation in that the dog (Tabitha) belonged to my deceased father (in another town) and I needed to bring her here to get her spayed and re-homed. Tabitha was going through a lot of adjustments and Cierra and Tanner took Tab in and loved on her and made her feel safe! Ulrich is a high energy dog, but Jamie was able to engage with him and entertain him and I had no doubts that a long weekend would go well. I got updates, to include pictures from their adventures over the weekend.”
“People say they love animals, but not everyone truly does! I believe Kimberly truly loves animals. I feel she treated my puppies like they were hers. I am fairly new to leaving my girls with a sitter, Kimberly put my mind at ease. She sent a lot of updates and pictures, which I really appreciated. I will have Kimberly watch Thelma and Louise anytime I need a sitter again.”
