She is straightforward and not afraid to express any concerns (such as safety of certain types of collars etc.) Her communication has been excellent. About: I have had cats my entire life, from a mean old barn cat who only liked me to a spunky gray kitten who now runs my home. I’ve been scooping and cleaning litter boxes since I was 7 years old and still do it to this day. “Alex is the best! We needed help with our three cats with very little scheduling notice, and Alex stepped up to help. He took notes while I went over their routine, and I could tell he took caring for them very seriously. He even agreed to bringing in our mail and watering some plants. One of our cats is diabetic and needs insulin injections twice daily, and she was also on an oral antibiotic. Alex updated us regularly about how the cats were doing, whether or not the diabetic cat was eating, and how feedings and medication administrations went. It really eased our anxieties with leaving our three cats with individual needs in the hands of someone so capable and trustworthy. Alex's professionalism and dedication to providing quality care for our cats and the house while we were gone allowed us to focus on what we needed to at that time. We will undoubtedly request his services for future cat care needs while we are away.”

About: I’ve been a cat person for as long as I can remember. As a shy kid, cats were my favorite animals, and whenever we visited a home with a cat, I’d happily spend hours patiently earning their trust until they felt comfortable coming out for pets and attention. About: I have taken care of dogs, horses, and other farm animals since I was 7 years old. I grew up in a family with four big dogs and spent a lot of time training them in agility, helping at equestrian centers and other farms where I encountered and worked with all different kinds of working dogs, and spent years studying dog training, grooming, and handling. I currently have a highly reactive Pyrenees/German Shepherd who has allowed me to find a new passion in more deeply figuring out how different kinds of animals' minds work and learn to cater to their varying needs and learning styles, a mini Aussie who I am now working with in the beginning stages of agility training and having fun learning all sorts of different types of obedience and tricks with, and an Aussie/Pyr newly 1 year old who is already my best mountain biking buddy and has had a very strong start with agility training. I have also raised a litter of 10 puppies, so I am experienced and comfortable with dogs of any age. Their worlds are only as big as we make them, and they deserve all the love and experiences they can get! I work remotely, so my schedule is fully flexible most days. I have to schedule meet & greets and start/end times around my meeting schedule daily, but once I am there can cater to whatever you dog’s daily schedule need is I will follow any directions you leave me, from crating, feeding, and play/cuddle time instructions if I am sitting, or whatever sort of walking specifications or request you have to best to cater to you dog if I am only taking him/her on walks.

I make sure to follow all directions left by my client, whether their pet is crated, what to look out for, what they like/dislike, feeding schedules, etc. I always keep in contact with my client if anything seems “off” or different about their furry family member.

About: I've grown up constantly around dogs and taking care of them. My family and I would often get dogs from shelters, so behavioral issues are no problem for me! I'm used to the crazy-fun nature of these furry creatures. I have trained all my dogs, and when I was 14 got my own chihuahua that I raised from a puppy. I enjoy spending time with dogs and animals and would love to help out with your furry friends. I'm currently in school part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to care for your pets. I have two cats of my own that I take care of everyday by playing with them, giving them fresh water and food, brushing them, and of course lots of cuddles. Coming into your home I will be very cleanly. I'll give your pets and home my upmost respect. With me your animals will be in amazing care.
About: I grew up in a family that owned dogs all of my life. I also pet sat (both cats and dogs) for many family friends over the years, even helping look over a dog team once when I lived in Alaska. Furthermore, I am capable of going on long walks or short ones, playing fetch or tug of war for extended periods, or just chillin' at home providing all the belly rubs and scratches as possible. I recently just moved to the Vancouver area, and I am seeking full-time employment. Thus, as of right now, my schedule is wide open, which makes me available anytime and any day (even weekends) to take care your pet. I am flexible for how will care for your pet in your home. If your pet requires a lot of attention and play time, then I am more than willing to take them to the backyard or nearest park to let them play to their hearts content. Or, if your pet is shy or getting older, I can certainly give them their space.

“To start, Danielle had my dog for a daycare, and, everything went great. I received photos showing him walking with others and I know him well enough to know he was enjoying his time. I felt comfortable to go ahead and schedule two overnights with Danielle for him during my next work trip. Things I love about Danielle are that she really pays attention to what you say, the details. She is straightforward and not afraid to express any concerns (such as safety of certain types of collars etc.) Her communication has been excellent. She walks every day with multiple dogs and the pack is such an enjoyable place for my dog. I'm not inundated with photos, but, receive just enough to know he's doing well! We will be boarding at Danielle's as long as she'll have us 💜”
