I have not been able to find anyone willing to take on this challenging situation, until I found Cassie on Rover. I swear she can walk on water and is a cat whisperer. She took the time to come and watch me do a glucose test and insulin injection before the first trip I've been able to take in 7 yrs , knowing she would take good care of Punkin. I was gone for 8 days and she came twice a day and Punkin didn't hide from her like she does with everyone but me. I could not recommend her highly enough and will definitely be planning longer trips, using Cassie without worrying my cat would suffer. I’ve owned dogs for most of my life, and when I didn’t have one of my own, I was the person friends, family, and neighbors relied on to care for theirs. About: I’ve had a dog in my house for most of my life. I’ve had very small dogs and giant breed dogs. The largest was 110 pounds. I have volunteered with the ASPCA in the Bay Area. I also have volunteered for many years at the Humane Society in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as well I’m a huge dog lovers that make our own food. There are also two parks within walking distance from our house. So when your pet stays with me, I will be able to take them to an off leash area multiple times a day. I am an early risers. Your pet will be at the dog park before 6 AM. We play at the dog park that early and take care of our potties. After that, we will come back home, and have our breakfast. The rest of the morning is watching me and my partner clean up and prepare for the day. A mid afternoon break to go back to the park and play off leash. If the park is full, I usually just take a long walk. I try to make sure that they get a couple long walks a week, just so they can get their sniffing in. In the evening, a much longer trip to the park to play. I generally feed dinner around 5 PM. Then cuddling and hanging out for the rest of the evening. I am usually in bed before 10 o’clock I will make sure that all small items that could be chewed up by animals is kept put up. I have many chew toys for the to play with to encourage playing with toys versus destroying property.

About: I’ve had both my entire life. All of our animals have been rescues, the most recent additions being quite literally rescued from a bush. I no longer live with my dogs, but I was with two dogs, a cat, and 10 chickens. I dog-sit for three family members often and have decided to expand my services. One family member has one large dog who requires a lot of attention due to anxiety and 1 cat. The other family have 3 dogs ranging in different sizes and needs. And finally, for my close friend who has two very active cats. I love being with dogs and cats, whether we’re playing all day or they just wanna sit around and want a lot of petting time. I am available Saturday to Wednesday prior to 9am and after 6pm, but can do a drop in during my lunch break. I am available all day Thursdays and Fridays, and am available holidays. Because I have pets of my own, I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust to care for your furry family members. I’m comfortable following their routines, including feeding, walks, playtime, cuddles, and any special instructions. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away! Pet care fits well into my schedule because I have flexibility throughout the week and can work around your pet’s routine and needs. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting, and I’m happy to coordinate around your preferred schedule. I understand that every pet has their own routine, so I’ll do my best to provide consistent care and make sure they get the attention, exercise, and companionship they need while you’re away. Safety and trust are very important to me when caring for someone’s pet. I treat every pet and home with the same care and respect I would want for my own. Before a booking, I like to learn about your pet’s routine, personality, feeding schedule, and any special instructions or needs. During visits, I make sure doors and gates are secure, pets are supervised, and their environment stays clean and comfortable. I’m also happy to send updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or taking them out for walks, my goal is to provide a calm, safe, and loving environment where they feel comfortable and cared for.
About: 35 yrs in the zoo/aquarium world, consultant state wise and over seas, have had dogs and animals all shapes and sizes in my care, specialized in larger mammals, have had dogs all my life I’m currently very available. So, a good deal of my time is spent doing things with my dog, Bailey. I believe every interaction is an opportunity to learn and influence knowledge as well as shape, create or even retrain different behaviors. To start with pets new to me it’s a lot of gaining likes, dislikes, training methods, favorite toys and foods, also any training goals and how we might approach those goals as well as discussing behaviors we would want to eliminate.
About: I'm 36 years old, I love animals and recently got out of the Navy. My family has four dogs back home, kimchi (pitbull lab mix), Indy (German shepherd mix) Louis and Rene (daschunds), and three cats that we rescued (Jiji, Cleo and Smokey). In high school I worked as a kennel worker at a veterinary hospital for 2 years and love working with animals. I’ve spent some time volunteering at local animal shelters at different places I was stationed with the military. I really enjoy taking dogs on walks and hikes and would love to take care of your pets while you’re away. I’m available for house-sitting, drop in visits and dog walks. I work nights from 8 pm-6:30 am, I’m off 7 days/6 nights in a row every other week, feel free to reach out and I’ll let you know if I work any of the dates you’re interested in. During a week where I work, I would be able to come back to your pet in the morning and feed them breakfast/either go for a walk or hang out a bit. Afterwards I would sleep from roughly 8:30 am-12:30pm. When I wake up at 12:30 I can offer your pet a midday walk/potty break/or just some one on one time. Around 3 pm, I may take a 2-3hr nap, but otherwise I will be free from 12:30 pm until I need to leave for 8 pm shift. If you have questions/concerns with this schedule I’m more than happy to answer them. When I am off I switch back to a normal daytime schedule will be able to spend the day/night with your pet. When watching your pet, I’m there for your pet. If they want to hang out and do nothing, we’ll do that. If they want to go for walks, hikes or adventures, we’ll do that. I can accommodate myself to fit your pet’s needs.
