We especially appreciated how neat and clean they kept him and all his belongings. Their beautiful gals took wonderful care. Prince can be a bit of a fussy eater and needs some encouragement during mealtime, but they handled that with great patience and care, making sure he was well-fed and comfortable. They truly went above and beyond, taking care of him even more than we had asked. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was in such capable and caring hands. About: I admit that I'm new to Rover.com but I cared for my beloved Chloe (60 lb dog) for 16 years and also dog sat for my best friend when she went out of town. Safety is incredibly important to me and I have a fully fenced, private back yard that would love to host your canine family member. I am retired now so can set my own schedule. I am home most of the time but do typically leave the house for an hour or so to exercise each day. When I'm pet sitting, your special pet will be my top priority and I will be able to work my schedule around their needs and your expectations. I have a large, fully fenced, private back yard. I do not require that your pet be crate trained as my dog (she passed away in 2024) was never crate trained. I'm ok with you simply bringing over their dog bed, but if they sleep in a crate, that's fine too. My home's environment is very safe and offers room to roam when they're outside. The one fence line that has a gap between the bottom of the fence and the ground has been covered with wire mesh so even a small dog cannot get out. As a retired person, I'm able to walk your dog as many times / day as you request. As mentioned above, they'll also be free to roam the backyard and I will be with them during that time.

About: Hi! We are Erick and Laura and both grew up in households filled with dogs. We are both fully employed in the tech world, both privileged enough to work from home every day all day which enables us to spend hours on end with our dog as well, and take regular 1-2 hour walks throughout the day. We walk 5 miles minimum a day with our very active australian shepherd, and we actually run a photography and travel business on the side so we are always out doing something fun/cool/active, especially for those dogs looking to integrate into adventurous days while their humans are traveling! We've pet sat many different types of dogs over the years and are capable, motivated and excited to watch your dog! We work from home every day and have very flexible schedules, so we can accommodate pretty much any schedule that your dog needs. We are already frequently at the dog park with our dog as well! We can accommodate any need. If your dog prefers a crate, needs medicines, needs additional support, we can certainly work with you to make sure your dog is happy as possible while you are away. We are also very regular picture takers so will send many happy updates. You may even get professional photos of your dog given Erick's propensity for beautiful photos! :)

About: I am obsessed with dogs, and have had one my whole life up until a few years ago. I am very attentive and patient with dogs, and will love them all like my own. I am comfortable with caring for puppies with high energy, and also with senior dogs who may need slower walks and extra love. I am currently a college student that is out of state. But when I am home for breaks and the summer my schedule is very flexible and open. I have a big fenced yard that allows for dogs to run around. I treat every dog like they are my own and make sure they feel safe and comfortable while you are away. I am available for house sitting during the week and on weekends. Weekends work best for me. I'm ok with you simply bringing over their dog bed, but if they sleep in a crate, that's fine too. My home's environment is very safe and offers room to roam when they're outside. The one fence line that has a gap between the bottom of the fence and the ground has been covered with wire mesh so even a small dog cannot get out. As a retired person, I'm able to walk your dog as many times / day as you request. As mentioned above, they'll also be free to roam the backyard and I will be with them during that time.

She displayed great knowledge of dogs and sensitivity to their individual needs. When I went to pick up Banjo, he looked better than when I dropped him off. “If we could give Christine more than 5 stars, we would. Our pup, Gaz, can be apprehensive about meeting strangers but she warmed up to Christine before we even got back in our car. Christine did an amazing job of communicating with us and sent plenty of pictures. When we picked Gaz up she actually hesitated leaving. Christine even made her an adorable necklace with Gaz's name. I would highly recommend Christine to anybody. She's THE BEST!!”
“Being the first time we left our kids with people we didn’t know well we were very so Apprehension usbut Trey and Teresa did a fabulous job with our precious just kids send us pictures daily and comforted or anxiety dog and put up with our high energy puppy I’m looking for the six star button. “Our 11 year old beagle loves staying with PJ. With two little boys in the house, he sometimes doesn't get as much attention as he used to. When he stays with PJ he is the center of attention. We loved the daily pictures and updates of his adventures in Seattle. PJ was great about taking him to the park and out for the long walks that he enjoys. At PJ's home, he enjoyed lounging on his doggie bed, looking out the window and being a part of their family. The fenced backyard is accessible to all types of dogs because of the lighted ramp to get to the grass. We never feel bad about leaving our pup behind while on vacation because we know that he is having a vacation of his own with PJ.”
