One of my dogs was reactive to new people and other dogs, the other one was unable to climb stairs. I had never used Rover or any boarding service in the past so I was reasonably worried. However, with some initial introductions, my 2 dogs acclimated to Pheara and it was a wonderful stay. We got updates everyday and she made sure that our dogs felt safe with them. Plus, Angus greeted Mika and Murphy and welcomed them into his domain, he was so friendly and also seemed happy to meet these two. About: Hi! We are Erick and Laura and both grew up in households filled with dogs. We are both fully employed in the tech world, both privileged enough to work from home every day all day which enables us to spend hours on end with our dog as well, and take regular 1-2 hour walks throughout the day. We walk 5 miles minimum a day with our very active australian shepherd, and we actually run a photography and travel business on the side so we are always out doing something fun/cool/active, especially for those dogs looking to integrate into adventurous days while their humans are traveling! We've pet sat many different types of dogs over the years and are capable, motivated and excited to watch your dog! We work from home every day and have very flexible schedules, so we can accommodate pretty much any schedule that your dog needs. We are already frequently at the dog park with our dog as well! We can accommodate any need. If your dog prefers a crate, needs medicines, needs additional support, we can certainly work with you to make sure your dog is happy as possible while you are away. We are also very regular picture takers so will send many happy updates. You may even get professional photos of your dog given Erick's propensity for beautiful photos! :)

About: I am obsessed with dogs, and have had one my whole life up until a few years ago. I am very attentive and patient with dogs, and will love them all like my own. I am comfortable with caring for puppies with high energy, and also with senior dogs who may need slower walks and extra love. I am currently a college student that is out of state. But when I am home for breaks and the summer my schedule is very flexible and open. I have a big fenced yard that allows for dogs to run around. I always supervise while they are outside and give them lots of attention and love. In my clients home I am very respectful of their space and follow all instructions. About: I admit that I'm new to Rover.com but I cared for my beloved Chloe (60 lb dog) for 16 years and also dog sat for my best friend when she went out of town. Safety is incredibly important to me and I have a fully fenced, private back yard that would love to host your canine family member. I am retired now so can set my own schedule. I am home most of the time but do typically leave the house for an hour or so to exercise each day. When I'm pet sitting, your special pet will be my top priority and I will be able to work my schedule around their needs and your expectations. I have a large, fully fenced, private back yard. I do not require that your pet be crate trained as my dog (she passed away in 2024) was never crate trained. I'm ok with you simply bringing over their dog bed, but if they sleep in a crate, that's fine too. My home's environment is very safe and offers room to roam when they're outside. The one fence line that has a gap between the bottom of the fence and the ground has been covered with wire mesh so even a small dog cannot get out. As a retired person, I'm able to walk your dog as many times / day as you request. As mentioned above, they'll also be free to roam the backyard and I will be with them during that time.
