About: I'm retired with a dog who I got as a puppy and i have never left his side. He has been socialized and well behaved and a good role model for other dogs. Unlike my last dog, he enjoys playing with puppies. I am currently retired and have a flexible schedule. I take my dog out everyday for hikes, swims, paddle boarding, cross country skiing/snowshoeing, fetch or the dog park. He is very social and would love company. I have a small fenced back yard, but exercise my dog outside my home everyday . I like to predict what a dog will do to prevent conflict.

About: Dogs have always been a part of my world, home training, loving, caring and fostering fur babies has been my pleasure. It’s an honor to be given their trust and affection and to provide safe shelter for them to develop and explore. I currently have a 5 yo Pom. I often have cared for friends’ dogs in my home. I have not yet found a dog I didn’t love and who took to me as well from pit bull to poodle. I present them with a calm gentle presence and they generally respond the same.They bring so much love and joy to my life and help keep me moving and healthy as well. I can keep on schedule with their meds and routines and keep in touch with you so you can know how they are doing. I am retired and very flexible on times and days. I am open to caring for your pets in my (condo) home or yours. I prefer a small (under 25 lbs preferably) dog for in my home. I am restricted to two pets at a time (including my Pomeranian) so only accept one at a time. That ensures your dog will receive lots of attention. I have direct access to yard that is far off streets and great for running and playing. If unsure, I keep your fur baby leashed and walk or run him/her 3 times or more each day. I can apply meds but no injections. There is one other dog besides mine in the condo building who is friendly and playful, and one Chin in the next building who is shy and stays away from others except occasionally. Your pup will be safe and secure.

About: I am a lifetime dog owner/lover. My husband and I have a little dog and young cat, both of which have a lot of personality, that we love and adore. I'm a huge fan of getting outside and spending quality time with my furry companions. I love to meet new dogs- each one has their own distinct personality and I consider myself highly intuitive/adaptable to each type of dog I meet! Whether it's walking, hiking, playing, lounging, or hanging out with family, everything is better with a dog around. I have years of experience with all sorts of dogs with special needs: administering medication, diabetic dogs, dogs with seizures, dogs that need to be kept separated, dirty dogs (bathing), and more. When you have dogs all your life, experience comes with and fondness is unavoidable! I’m home most the week, outside of Thursday and Friday evenings. I plan my day around the needs of my animals and assure that they have everything they need and are never left wanting. I live in an apartment with my husband on the edge of town but am very close to trails and love going on walks in the park or along the canal. Getting outside with our dog (and the dogs I care for) is a massive priority. This includes meeting any needs they may have.

“Morgan is great! We did 2 days of doggie daycare while biking in Wenatchee. Morgan and her husband are a great team, they walked our dog and gave her lots of love and attention, sent us pictures, and were great with communications. They have a sweet pup Pasha and a dog savvy cat. Our dog Izzy got along great with their pup, and stayed away from their cat as she should. Izzy is a cattle dog mix and we were worried that she just didn't like the concept of being dropped off at someone else's house and she would hate going back the next day. Yet, she trotted up the stairs and was jumping up and down in front of their front door all excited to go in and see her new friends. As soon as she got inside, she said hi to everyone and jumped on the couch and stretched out. If you know dog behavior, you can tell this is a sign she feels comfortable and safe in a place. Izzy came home tired, sleepy, and happy each day. I wish Morgan was closer to our house so we could do doggie day care at her place more often!”

About: I absolutely love all kinds of animals and was lucky enough to grow up alongside big and small dogs, a hedgehog, hermit crabs and fish! While in high school I lived on a ranch working alongside working dogs and helping to work with rescue baby cows. I am comfortable giving medication as it was my primary job on the ranch. As an adult I rescued my sweet cat Ali who I didn’t get enough time with so I was versed in giving medication with cats as well. I no longer have any pets and am new to the area. About: Cats are my preference and expertise. I have 4 of my own and I truly pamper and give every cat attention and affection. I stock a large assortment of toys, scratch posts, heated beds and anything to keep the felines I watch happy. I’ve had cats since I was a small child. I am a stay at home college student. I bring my school work in with my kitties. They usually help me get the school work done. Until they demand play time. Essentially whatever the feline royalty demands, I am within close reach! While it may differ day to day, I am home a solid 90% of the time. For cat sitting we have an upstairs apartment which would be dedicated for our feline guest. Cat tree, hiding spots and litter box included, with toys all around. Please bring your pets preferred food and treats!

About: Hi, my name is Sarah. I have been housesitting in Michigan, USA (where I’m from), as well as in California, the Caribbean, England, Scotland, Wales, the Channel Island of Jersey, and France. I have found it a wonderful way to meet new people and explore new places that I might never have known otherwise, while enjoying the comforts of home and the angelic energy of animals! I have experience with many dogs and cats, as well as farm animals. How my housesitting process works: New clients start with a meet-and-greet, generally at the client's home, but I have also done this over video call for long-distance. Client introduces animals and gives a tour of the property, goes over any details and questions, and we agree to booking. I send the client a reminder text two days before sit is scheduled to begin. Upon arrival for the sit, I send a photo to check-in after I have let pets out to potty. I review homeowner’s instructions and house manual (if supplied) and connect with pets to help them get comfortable with me. They usually miss their family for the first day or two, so I find treats and walks to be essential for boosting their mood and getting them to adjust to me. By the end of the sit, we are usually good friends and their family comes home to find them happy and relaxed. My petsitting philosophy is to simply be a friend who cares for them and helps them enjoy life until their family comes home. Although it is generally preferable for all pets to stay home rather than be boarded, this is an especially ideal situation for dogs that have separation anxiety. I am content to stay at home with the pet for the entire duration of the sit, with occasional short trips for shopping, sightseeing, church, etc. of not more than 1-2 hours. I give 1-2 walks per day and petting and play, such as throwing the ball or playing tug-of-war. I may also allow pets to sleep on the bed or floor in the bedroom with me. I can give medication according to instructions. I am aware of dangerous foods for dogs, including chocolate, onions, and grapes, but I may give them a piece of deli meat, cheese or eggs, unless instructed otherwise. I text or email once or twice daily updates with photos, or at frequency the client requests. I also collect mail and packages, put out trash and recycling, water plants and greenhouses, and more as requested. I am fairly perceptive of what needs to be done, however to ensure that something gets done to your specifications, please put it in a manual or text message. I also have experience with larger home organization and improvement projects, so just ask if you'd like anything else to be done. I keep the home tidy for the duration of the sit, and on the final day, I thoroughly prepare it for clients’ return, including stripping the bed (if time permits I’ll run bedding and towels through the laundry cycle), sweeping/vacuuming, wiping down bathroom and kitchen surfaces, and straightening and tidying as needed. I give pets a final potty break, secure them in the home, and send the client a text message to check-out. Notes for clients: Please double-check that your dates are accurate, as I can only guarantee availability for the dates we have booked. If it turns out your travel time extends beyond these dates, or if you are delayed, you can check my calendar or ask if I’m available, and I’ll do my best to help, but I can’t guarantee I’ll be available. Please be sure your pets and home are treated for fleas, as I am going into many different homes with pets. This is for your own protection as well as respect for other homes and pets. I reserve the right to decline or cancel a sit if I detect the presence of fleas. To get rid of them, I have found it works to use a dropper of clove oil applied to the pet's neck/shoulders as a topical treatment once per week or as needed until scratching stops, and vacuuming and washing your pet's bedding regularly. Dogs must be leash-trained in order to be walked. I can handle two large dogs on a walk at a time. If your dog is a rescue, please specify this in your initial inquiry and any behavioral training/rehabilitation that has been completed. I expect a reasonable standard of cleanliness and accommodation that is suitable for a guest (me). I do not bring anyone else onto the property. My rates are reasonable and competitive with the cost of boarding, allowing for the far more desirable situation of pets staying at home! My time is free to devote to your pets and their needs. I may occasionally take a short 1-2 hour trip for shopping, errands, sightseeing, church, etc. I am attentive to pet needs and behaviors at all times. I keep the house in tidy condition during my stay, and clean up after myself thoroughly upon departure.

About: I have never had a period of my life, where I didn't have a variety of animals! Dogs and cats are of course a staple, and as I've gotten older I have had a variety reptiles, birds, and even a tarantula! Well versed in all animal care, and happy to learn if I'm not! I have a full deaf border Collie/Pyrenees mix who is almost 2 years old. While we toured the Leavenworth Reindeer Farm, Kirby took our pup on an incredible 3.5+ mile walk for the duration of the hour and a half tour! Our hike-loving puppy came back smiling ear to ear, stick in mouth, freshly fed and tired before an afternoon of hanging out in downtown Leavenworth. Kirby was so kind and communicative throughout, especially since all of this occurred on a holiday. We’re so thankful!”

About: I can attune to the needs of your dog. If they are high energy I can do a hike around the valley or take them on a mellow walk in Cashmere. I am adaptable to what your dog needs. I have volunteered at an animal sanctuary for six years, have had dogs of my own, and now help dog sit for my mother's puppy and my friends dog. Also, my son and I help walk the neighbors dogs whenever she needs and my schedule allows. I work Monday and Tuesday at 3 pm so I can fit in a walk before that. I am also free Wednesday or Thursday anytime before 4 pm. I am dependable and trustworthy. I will respect your wishes and listen to your advice and recommendations on what is best for your specific pet.
About: I have raised and trained two of my own dogs. Both were loveable rescue pups who came with their unique personalities and some interesting behaviours. I am comfortable providing medication and injection to pets as I have to provide this daily to my dog with hip dysplasia. We also do dog physical therapy! I'm currently working part time and flexible hours so I have plenty of time and flexibility to take care of your loved ones! I get up early everyday to walk with the pups and am happy to drop in throughout the day. I live on a large property that is not fenced. About: I am a lifetime dog owner/lover. My husband and I have a little dog and young cat, both of which have a lot of personality, that we love and adore. I'm a huge fan of getting outside and spending quality time with my furry companions. I love to meet new dogs- each one has their own distinct personality and I consider myself highly intuitive/adaptable to each type of dog I meet! Whether it's walking, hiking, playing, lounging, or hanging out with family, everything is better with a dog around. I have years of experience with all sorts of dogs with special needs: administering medication, diabetic dogs, dogs with seizures, dogs that need to be kept separated, dirty dogs (bathing), and more. When you have dogs all your life, experience comes with and fondness is unavoidable! I’m home most the week, outside of Thursday and Friday evenings. I plan my day around the needs of my animals and assure that they have everything they need and are never left wanting. I live in an apartment with my husband on the edge of town but am very close to trails and love going on walks in the park or along the canal. I love taking them out on hikes, on my paddle board if they like to do that kind of thing like my dog does, walks, etc.. I also love downtime where we snuggle up on the couch to watch some TV at the end of the day. My dog sleeps with me and so do the animals I am taking care of. I treat all animals like they are my kid!
