She was on time *every* visit, sent pictures and a detailed report for every visit. She correctly administered the medication and tried different foods to get our old kitty to eat. She sifted litters, played with lasers & wands, vacuumed, and cleaned up hair balls. This was challenging, and she did it all perfectly. About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was 12! I absolutely adore all animals. I have experience raising a puppy and have taken care of pets for many neighbors and friends! I’ll be sure to send you lots of photos of your fur babies and support them in their stay however they need! I’m available for boarding after 5pm on Thursday till Monday evening! I can take them out as many times as they need and give them constant love and attention! Taking care of your fur baby will be my top priority! I have an apartment with no other pets, so your fur baby will be the focus of my attention! I keep my apartment very tidy, quiet, and safe for pets. My hope is to make them feel right at home and to make their time away from you as easy as possible.

About: I have taken care of animals since I was a pre-teen, but fell in love with animal care fully in my junior year of high school, after I began volunteering at the Everett Animal Shelter. Since then, I have changed positions and worked as a post-surgery volunteer with PAWS, transporting and handling anesthetized animals after they underwent surgeries. This summer I am also interning at PAWS again, this time as a Foster Care Intern, where I manage the entire foster care system behind the scenes. Additionally, I have worked with large animals such as horses while volunteering, dairy cattle, and pigs as my job on the side. I am currently on summer break in my hometown (Everett) and have pretty open availability. I intern at paws from 8am-12pm on Sundays & Mondays, and 12-5pm on Thursdays, but other than that, I am free for walks, house sitting, or drop ins! Safety is extremely important during both house sitting & walks! For walks, I like to make sure dogs stay on the side of the sidewalk away from the road, as well as being properly harnessed and equipped with essential needs like poop bags and water incase of an emergency. I also keep a sharp eye out for other dogs to steer clear from unwanted interactions. Additionally, during house sitting, outside doors stay locked at all times, and your pet is watched 24/7. No escapes will happen on my watch! I am open to following any other rules, expectations or suggestions you have regarding your pet & house’s safety!
About: My husband, Len, and I had dogs for most of our married life of over 45 years; 1 Siberian Husky, 3 beagles, and 3 English bulldogs. Your dog is welcome to sit with us on the sofa, and sleep comfortably. We can also crate during the night. We will accommodate your schedule with your dog at your home also.
