“This is my second go around with Leslie she’s kind and prompt and you can tell she really loved what’s she’s doing. The care she has shown my animal has been a contributing factor on me writing this review as well as trusting her deeply with my baby. My lala loves going over there and her space is clean and open and wants you to feel the most comfortable always. I’m a forever customer ♥️”

“Tater had a great time! He left happy and tired, which is the sign of a good stay. We got many pictures and videos throughout the weekend and felt we made a great choice for a sitter. Thanks again!”

“Beth is amazing. It's my second time having my dog stay with her and once my dog sees Beth she was so excited and really wanted to get in her house. And she always bring my dog to dog park and having lots of fun. Also Beth sent me multiple videos and picture during stays so I don’t need to worry.”

“Stanley and Victoria were excellent! Mozby warmed up very quickly at our meet 'n greet. They send pics and videos all during our trip. When we had a hiccup with our return flight and pick up time, they were very gracious, accommodating and helpful. When I left with Mozby on his leash, he quickly turned around to give Stanley a goodbye hug... Something he only really does with ME!!! I know that he was well taken care of and loved while with Stanley. I know Mozby looks forward to our next vacation so he can visit his favorite Rover dog sitter!!”

“Quinten took such good care of our puppy! It was our first time leaving Margo for a night and we were a little anxious dropping her off. It reminded us of leaving our human babies with a sitter for the first time. But Quinten sent photos and videos and shared how she was playing with the other dogs in his care. It gave us peace of mind seeing her wagging her tail and getting cuddles. We will definitely have him care for Margo in the future!”

“Ben and his family were amazing hosts. It was our puppy’s first time away from us. They were very caring and thoughtful. Ben went out of his way to find our Puppy’s preferred dog food and treats. Our puppy went from being shy and reserved around other dogs to actually playing with them when they are there. At the end of the 4 days he was with them our pup didn’t want to leave Ben’s mom!”

“Marina, Richard and their three girls are amazing! We tried this family out for the first time on quick notice as the other plans with another sitter did not work out. Our dog Choco is elderly dog and an “only furry child” at home. With the pandemic we stayed home with remote working and other changes so Choco was used to having us around all the time. There was a moment of separation anxiety with the drop off, but that’s normal. And the pandemic amplified this separation anxiety in so many dogs that we know with our friends and hearing their stories. I appreciate the care and attention that Marina and Richard took to make Choco feel comfortable with extra hugs and cuddling. Choco’s appetite was a little fussy, and Marina ended up feeding Choco one of his first meals by hand. They are a true blessing! I like the way that Marina gave lots of info on Choco’s energy and appetite along with photos for the updates. When I arrived to pick up Choco to go home, Choco was nestled so comfortably and calmly in Richard’s arms that I had to ask Choco if he wanted to go home or stay! LOL. We have a happy doggie and know that Choco will be so happy to stay with this family again next week. Thank you Marina and Richard!!! -Irene, Stan and Choco”

“Myra took wonderful care of Sherman! She sent lots of pictures and updates. Her place has lots of safe spaces for dogs to roam outside and be cozy inside. And Ulysses was a wonderful dog host to Sherman, too!”

“Stefany and her family were so kind and nice to our dog. Walked her multiple times daily, sent multiple pictures and described many aspects of the day with my dog. She went above and beyond my expectations. I feel like my dog didn't want to come home 🐶😁”

“We appreciate Dahye having two meet and greets before we left her for her stay. She is very caring. She took our Ruby out for walk to explore neighborhood. We forgot a small item and when I went back next day, Ruby wanted to jump out of car to go back for visit.”

“This was my first time leaving my dog, and I’m so grateful to Janessa. She responded to all my questions quickly and kept me updated with photos and messages, which really reassured me that my dog was doing well. I would definitely love to book with her again in the future!”

“Our Toby loves Michelle and we love her too! I love getting several pictures and videos of Toby while we're gone, so I can tell he is doing really well. That gives me peace of mind while out of town, knowing that our fur baby is in good, loving hands. Toby gets regular walks and lots of snuggles with Michelle, and I love that he doesn't have to be left alone for hours. I truly appreciate Michelle!”

“Kizzie has a great setup at her place for cat boarding. She’s was very timely with communication, sent us photo and videos of our kitty throughout the stay, and helped us by dropping him off at the end. Will definitely board our cat with her again.”

“We had a wonderful experience with Joe and Sarah. They were incredibly attentive to Naomi and did a great job managing her medications and other age-related needs. They kept in touch regularly, sent photos and updates, and clearly cared about her well-being. We would absolutely trust them with Naomi again and highly recommend them to others.”

“I am so glad I found Ellen and Larry! I am usually so anxious when I have to leave my pup with someone but I wasn’t worried at all. She sent photos and stayed in communication with me about how he was. She has a wonderful yard and home for the pups to enjoy and her very sweet dog Teddy helps her out keeping the pups happy. And my baby loves both Ellen and Larry. He came home happy, and almost didn’t want to leave.”

“April was very responsive and respectful when looking after my baby!! I can tell my cat enjoys her visits, and she follows directions well- would definitely recommend, thank you April!!”

“I recently hired Stephanie and Emma to take care of my 2 cats, and am very happy with the experience. They were punctual, communicated clearly, and most importantly showed real affection and attention to my cat’s needs. My cats were calm and happy when I returned, which gave me great peace of mind. I recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring cat sitter.”

“I recently moved to the area & Natalie has been a lifesaver when I can’t be there for my furbabies! Less than a year ago, I adopted a little dog from an abuse situation who now has severe separation anxiety, but warmed up to Natalie instantly :) I also have a very skittish cat & a bunny & Natalie has taken great care of my little gang when I’ve needed her help. I would definitely recommend her as a dog walker & for drop in visits (:”

“Aidan was fantastic with our two cats while my partner and I were out of town for the holidays. He was extremely communicative, both prior to and during our visits, and it was clear that he wanted to ensure our cats were as happy and healthy as could be. He was especially understanding with one of our kitties who tends to be a bit spicy and who can have anxiety with new people. We really appreciate him taking the time to clean litter boxes, refresh water, feed food, and enjoy treats and play time with the kitties on each visit. One thing that stood out about Aidan was that he went out of his way to pick up some additional treats for our cats that had run out and provided detailed updates and many photos each day. I couldn't recommend Aidan more!”

About: I really believe the world is better with animals, and they deserve nothing but love—because that’s all they have to give us. I know every dog requires different treatment and attention, and every animal is unique. My husband Marcus and I are hardworking, kind, and huge animal lovers with lots of love to give. We both enjoy being outdoors and are happy to stop by your house to give your pet some food, scratchies, and snuggles—or take them out for fresh air, whether that’s throwing a ball or taking your older little guy on a slow, senior-friendly stroll. I grew up surrounded by animals and animal lovers. When I was younger, I trained my German Shepherd puppy to master all her tricks, and when she got older and became incontinent due to her elderly age, I provided hands-on care—changing her diapers, cleaning up after her, and helping her with stairs and jumps she couldn’t manage anymore. It was heartbreaking, but she taught me that we have to enjoy every moment with our babies while we can. I’m typically the go-to person for friends and family when they need someone to look after their animals while they’re away— I think it’s because they know I'll be equally obsessed and caring with their pet as they are. I take pride in providing loving, responsible care that feels just like home. I am a newly retired professional dancer. My days as of now are wide open as I make this transition into the next phase of my life! Unfortunately, my apartment isn’t suitable for overnight stays, so I’m currently offering only day visits and walks. When I go to a client's house, I make sure doors, windows, and gates are closed and watch out for things pets might get into—like plants, small objects, or foods that aren’t good for them. Hazardous stuff like cleaning products or meds are kept out of reach. I’ll never let a dog off-leash unless it’s in a securely fenced area because I understand how one wrong move can lead to a lost or hurt animal.
“Elizabeth is the best! We’ve loved having her care for our cat whenever we’ve been away. She’s attentive, responsive and very gentle. We plan to continue booking with Elizabeth and recommend her to anyone!”

“Grace is amazing! She went above and beyond for all my pets, both furry and scaly while I was gone. She gave great updates and I slept well thousands of miles away knowing that all my babies were being attended to with attention and care. I highly recommend her for all your pet-sitting needs.”

“Will definitely be booking her again. She’s very communicative and asks lots of questions to gain understanding to best take care over our babies(kitties). She came and met them before had and tried to bond with them but made sure to be patient and give them space.”

“We’re so glad to have found Jessica! She is attentive, thorough, communicative, and super caring to our cat and dog. She writes detailed notes and send lots of pet photos in every visit, making our time away from home a breeze. Highly recommend!”

“Caitlin has walked our energetic pup weekly for the past couple years and has done an amazing job. She handles his high energy and quirks so well and clearly loves animals. Our pup is always so excited to see her. She has also done drop-in visits for our three kitties while we’re out of town and again does an amazing job. She sends great updates with pictures so we know how they’re doing and it’s such a relief to know they’re in good hands while we’re gone. Overall, Caitlin is very professional, trustworthy, and communicative - she has been such a huge help to us.”

“I'm very pleased with Ellyanna's care so far; she's patient with my VERY shy cat and respectful of his space. Great communication, and I come home to a well taken-care of cat -- you can't ask fore more. Highly recommended!”

“This was Emma's first time with Stanley and Victoria. Stanley was very prompt replying to my request for short notice day care and even spent time on New Year's Day for a short meet and greet. Emma was happily tired from walks and playing with other dogs and very relaxed when I took her home. It's great to be able to leave Emma in good hands with Stanley and Victoria.”

“My senior pup loved snuggling with Judy all day while I was at work! Judy took excellent care of my pup, providing her with frequent potty trips and her afternoon meal! When I picked up my pup, she was cozied up in her bed and didn’t want to leave :) I will definitely schedule with Judy again. Plus, drop off/pickup was super easy as she’s in a convenient location and there is a free parking garage right under her building!”

“Marina, Richard, and their family kept such good care of my 11 week old puppy Koda. He came home and was so tired from playing and all the love he was shown. Thank you for taking such great care of our puppy. Your family is definitely our first pick when needing a sitter.”

“Butters came back happy and tired. They kept us informed with a lot of pictures and videos. They had multiple dogs at the place which i think makes it fun ! they took good care of him”

“Thank you so much Lilia and fam for watching Gunner. It can be hard leaving him, but knowing he was safe, loved, and kept busy made all the difference. I could tell he had an amazing day because he came home happy and content. We appreciate you!”

About: I treat each pup like part of the family—whether that means sticking closely to your dog’s routine, giving extra cuddles, or providing gentle care for seniors or high-energy playtime for puppies. My home is safe, calm, and dog-friendly, with plenty of room to relax or play. I send regular updates and photos, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pup is in loving hands. As a retiree, pet care is truly a part of my everyday life—and something I genuinely enjoy. Since I’m home full-time, your dog will never be left alone for long periods and will receive constant attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. My daily routine is built around keeping dogs happy and comfortable, from morning walks and playtime to relaxed afternoons and evening cuddles. I keep a calm, quiet home where dogs can feel safe and relaxed, and I’m always available for feeding, potty breaks, or just spending quality time with them. When pets stay in my home, I treat them like one of the family. I follow their normal routine as closely as possible—including feeding schedules, walk times, play habits, and bedtime routines—to help them feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed. My home is clean, quiet, and dog-friendly, with plenty of space for lounging, supervised playtime, and cozy naps. I give each dog plenty of personal attention throughout the day, whether that means going for walks, playing fetch, or just offering a warm lap to curl up on. If your dog needs medication, special meals, or extra care (like for puppies or seniors), I handle it all with patience and attention to detail. I also keep pet parents updated with regular messages and photos, so you can rest easy knowing your pup is in good hands.
“Alexandria is very experienced. After meeting her I was comfortable and confident that our little guy would be well taken care of. Not only does she provide good positive care, but she is also a bit of a trainer and a groomer! Our little guy can be a bit of a jerk sometimes. He had the opportunity to socialize with other puppers in a safe and nurturing environment. If I need care again, I will definitely book with Alexandria!”

“Jay and Xinyu are great! They took very good care of our Golden, Nala and sent daily updates with pictures. They also helped socialize her with a pal that Nala got along with very well! I was more than comfortable with them taking great care of Nala these past two weeks and grateful they made her stay enjoyment! Would recommend them to anyone and definitely coming back in the future!”

“Mallory (and Chris and their pups!) are awesome!! Not only do they take excellent care of my playful puppy, Mallory & Chris are just plain delightful & cool humans. 😄 Great communication with plenty of updates on how Birdie is doing, w/pics and videos to brighten my day while I'm at work. They really put my mind at ease as a new dog mom to a very tiny pup, and as someone who is new to using Rover for doggy daycare services. Birdie is always very excited to see them even though she's often a bit timid with new people, and she has a great time playing with their boxer Rocky 🐶 who is very sweet and gentle with Birdie despite their difference in their size. 😊 We look forward to visiting again soon! Thanks guys!”

About: I have hands-on experience helping my mom with her dog rescue nonprofit, where I helped transport and foster dogs. I work remotely, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to provide plenty of attention and care throughout the day. I’m happy to work around each pet’s routine, including walks, playtime, meals, and plenty of companionship. I live alone with no personal pets, so your pet can have my full attention in a calm and comfortable environment. I’m active and have easy access to nearby trails for walks and exercise. I also live in a quiet, friendly condo neighborhood, making it a safe and relaxing place for pets to stay. “Ellen and Larry are wonderful people! Our dogs enjoyed so much with them we could see and also, we human had a fun chat with them! They are very welcoming. Thank you! We will see you next time.”

“Myra (and Ulysses) took wonderful care of Sherman! She sent lots of pictures and updates during the day. Her space is really nice with a huge fenced yard and lots of places to drink water and lots of interesting things to look at and sniff! She will be watching Sherman for a longer period in a few weeks and I feel so confident now in her care of Sherman! ❤️”

“I couldn’t be happier with the care Quinten provided for my dog Penny. From the moment we met, it was clear they had a genuine love for animals. They kept me updated with daily photos and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. My pet was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for when I returned. I highly recommend Quinten to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate sitter!”

“She did an amazing job with our dog! She was very flexible and able to take him on last minute. She kept us updated on how he was doing and very responsive to us through his time there. If we lived locally, we definitely would be back.”

About: I’ve had a dog in my house for most of my life. I’ve had very small dogs and giant breed dogs. The largest was 110 pounds. I have volunteered with the ASPCA in the Bay Area. I also have volunteered for many years at the Humane Society in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as well I’m a huge dog lovers that make our own food. There are also two parks within walking distance from our house. So when your pet stays with me, I will be able to take them to an off leash area multiple times a day. I am an early risers. Your pet will be at the dog park before 6 AM. We play at the dog park that early and take care of our potties. After that, we will come back home, and have our breakfast. The rest of the morning is watching me and my partner clean up and prepare for the day. A mid afternoon break to go back to the park and play off leash. If the park is full, I usually just take a long walk. I try to make sure that they get a couple long walks a week, just so they can get their sniffing in. In the evening, a much longer trip to the park to play. I generally feed dinner around 5 PM. Then cuddling and hanging out for the rest of the evening. I am usually in bed before 10 o’clock I will make sure that all small items that could be chewed up by animals is kept put up. I have many chew toys for the to play with to encourage playing with toys versus destroying property.

“Jacklyn was great! Sent lots of (very cute!) pictures, walked McCoy, and made sure he got along with her own dog. McCoy was always happy to see her (and her dog) when we dropped him off. Jacklyn was also very responsive to us (e.g. when we had to modify our arrival/pick up time) which made our lives very easy.”

About: I provide reliable and attentive care for pets, treating each one with the same love and respect I give my own. I have owned dogs my whole life, growing up with boxers, and later adopting two retired racing greyhounds after moving out on my own. Since then, I’ve raised three puppies, each with unique personalities and training needs. I use a balanced training method, understanding that no single approach works for every dog. I meet dogs where they are, offering patience, consistency, and compassion to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and well-cared for. I also participate in dog sports and showing dogs, which has deepened my knowledge and appreciation for canine care and behavior. In addition, I’m well-versed in dog first aid and highly observant when it comes to monitoring health, safety, and overall well-being. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your companion is in capable and caring hands. As a stay-at-home dog mom, I have plenty of time and flexibility to dedicate to caring for your pet. I’m able to provide them with one-on-one attention throughout the day, ensuring they feel loved, engaged, and never lonely while you’re away. I have a small, fully fenced 6-foot backyard and a spacious home to comfortably host your pet. I live in a quiet neighborhood with access to a nearby 2-acre property where I can take dogs to stretch their legs and enjoy some extra exercise. I share my home with five well-behaved dogs who are accustomed to welcoming new dogs into the household. My home is thoughtfully set up with multiple baby gates and crates, allowing me to manage the environment safely if needed. While staying with me, your dog will have free access in and out of the backyard, ensuring plenty of fresh air, playtime, and comfort throughout their visit.

“We just moved to the area and are blessed to have found Beth on Rover! Beth is a loving and conscientious pet owner herself. She understands that our pets are family members. ^__^ We have Beth scheduled to come and take them on a daily walk during the work week. I can tell that they get a good long daily walk and that they are enjoying themselves! She is professional, caring, very responsive & informative with pictures and updates throughout the walks, kind, detail orientated, has amazing communication skills and all around someone we can trust with our pups and in our home. She always takes great care of the pups, gives me a full review of their walk each and every day along with pictures of my two boys. We HIGHLY recommend BETH!”

About: Pets have been my life ever since I was five years old. I wasn't a caretaker at that age, but I've fostered a close connection and understanding towards pets ever since. As I got older, my responsibilities grew in kind, and I became much more involved in the day-to-day care of dogs and cats. I've been fortunate to be a part of six dogs lives, and each have brought different temperaments, attitudes, and energy levels. Four of the six were rescues, so I understand the patience and attentiveness needed to properly address their needs and quirks. I also helped raise a 10 week old puppy into adulthood, so I am very familiar with what it takes to handle the stubbornness and energy of a young pup. While it's been some time since my cat has passed away, I likewise share a similar understanding to their needs and socialization. It requires a different approach than a dog but I am happy to adapt to the pet at hand and ensure they receive the best care possible. I have returned from a term of service abroad in the Peace Corps, and am currently searching for employment as I settle back in the states. I will be living in Washington for the time being before I set off to grad school. As such, my schedule is fairly open for dog walking and check-ins. Some of my fondest memories abroad was walking around the countryside in my spare time, so I'm excited to continue that here with some new friends! I will ensure that the pets' needs are addressed in full with the client before I take on the service, and adhere to the directions advised. I cannot currently board pets at my home, but I am happy to check in on pets whilst abiding by the rules of my client's homes.
“Lauren was quick to notice Riley's patch he had been scratching and took a photo for me. It was a great way to help me see what I was coming home to and how to prep for his care. AWESOME job.”

About: I have cared for animals of all ages since I was a kid I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals big and small I have taken obedience classes with several dogs. I think I was the one who was trained and I only use a positive and supportive approach with pets. 😊 When it comes to years of experience, I have taken care of pets since I was 5 and able to put the food in the bowl for our cats and dogs I think it is fair to say I have 30 years of experience. I promise to treat your pet with love and give all the skritches and scratches they want. I recently left a full time job working with young children to lessen the stress in my life and to work on having a more active lifestyle. This has left my schedule during the day open and I thought Rover might be a good place to start. Safety is my first priority for your pet. We can talk and determine what is going to work best for you, me and your fur baby to ensure a successful visit or walk.
“Jenna was so great to work with and very flexible with the scheduling. Jenna accommodated the requests as Po (my pup) was a little shy to walk. Will definitely use Jenna’s services in the future.”

“I’ve used Megan many times. She has great communication, is knowledgeable about animals and cares about your pet. I have a young puppy that she’s taken on numerous walks and she has been patient and helped him learn good habits. Megan then gives me great tips on how to continue to help my pup.”

“Daniel took care of Luna for daily breakfast feedings and morning walks while we were gone on an international trip. We knew we could rely on Daniel to get the job done.”

“Great stay with Cheryl, Rico, and Ken. Our dog was well cared for and the family provided multiple pictures a day. Very happy with their communication and appeared to make our dog feel at home.”

“First time using Elan M./Rover service and we would highly recommend Elan M. to look after our dog next time we are in need of a sitter. Elan's daily photo updates kept us informed and relieved us of his security and care. Thank you Elan for looking after our loved one so well. Appreciate it!”
