About: Hello I'm a fellow dog owner. My Charlie is a 30 pound sheltie mix and gets along with everyone. He's super friendly so he'll get along with your dog. I work from home two days out of the week and I'm available on weekends for doggy daycare where they'll play in the backyard, get walks, I'll make sure they eat, and get enough water. I can do over night any day of the week as well. The days I work from home are Tuesdays and Fridays. If you have questions please feel free to ask. I'm very accommodating but obviously I do have concerns. I have two crates and two beds on my own they can used so you don't have to bring your own.

About: I owned a dog for most of my life. My dog sadly passed away after fifteen great years of happiness! I watch my friend's dogs when they go out of town because I'm usually always reliable and do most of my work inside my home. I am not lazy with taking dogs on walks and I care for pets like they are my own :) I am a stay at home mom to a 2 year old so I am always home to care for your loved one. We have a fenced backyard and lots of areas to walk. I can be flexible about what your pet needs. If you would prefer them in a crate at night I’d be happy to do that but usually I love having your pets roam around my townhouse and our fenced yard!

I feel comfortable and confident walking/caring for all different sizes and ages of dogs due to previously working for a dog walking/pet sitting company in the NOVA area during 2016-2017. During that year, I was also was responsible for overnight stays, and day time cat visits. My primary experience with pet care since that time has been taking care of my own dog (his name is Rudy, he is a toy poodle who has been the best friend we could dream of for almost 10 years and counting). I am in the medical field and am currently in between jobs, which allows my schedule to be flexible. I am available every weekday (and most weekends). For house sitting, I will keep to your desired schedule as my Rover schedule allows (as I will likely need to leave a few times during the day for other pet visits). I am comfortable staying overnight in your home. For dog walking, your dog’s safety is my top priority. I will avoid other dogs and if walking 2 dogs at the same time, I use a waist leash. I prefer to use a harness and non-retractable leashes (when available). Before or after their walk, we can also play fetch/play with toys inside or outside (if you have a fenced in yard). For cat visits, I am happy to clean their litter boxes, feed them, and play with them inside your home (only if they are interested, of course!) For either dogs or cats, I am able to administer oral or injectable medication if needed.
“I don't even know where to begin, but Jackie has been such an absolute BLESSING during a very tumultuous time where I have not been able to walk my dog, Sadie, due to having leg surgery and needing someone short notice. Never would I have thought that I would find my dog's godmother, but HERE WE ARE! Jackie is incredible with Sadie and Sadie is IN LOVE with Jackie. I used to work in vets myself and can feel Jackie's empathetic and beautiful nature when it comes to pets, and even my little demon hobbit cat loves her too and he is hard to please. Jackie is also aware of any inconsistencies with Sadie's behavior, potty breaks and has even checked for ticks as the spring gets nuts with those terrible creatures. We are going to be so sad that she won't be coming 3 times a day anymore, but Jackie has become an actual friend and Sadie and I plan to have visits. There is no way Sadie cannot be in Jackie's life and Jackie has expressed the same. We seriously love her so much and will still book with her when needed in the future. You could not be in better hands than with Jackie and I have trust issues lol. She is the VERY BEST <3”

“10/10 experience! I genuinely feel like Cocoa found her second family. They were absolutely amazing with her from start to finish and treated her like she was one of their own. I received regular updates throughout the weekend, which made me feel so comfortable and reassured knowing she was happy, safe, and being completely spoiled with love and attention. You can tell they truly care about the dogs they watch and do so much more than just “pet sit.” They made Cocoa feel at home, and that means everything to me. I never once felt worried or uneasy while she was with them while away on my trip because they were so attentive and communicative. I honestly could not have asked for a better family to care for my girl. They did a phenomenal job, and I am beyond grateful to have found people I can genuinely trust with her. I will absolutely be using them again in the future and would recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for loving, dependable, and trustworthy pet care. About: For over 24 years, our dogs have been more than pets — they’ve been family. We’ve cared for two beloved dogs, including one with special needs and epilepsy, which gave us firsthand experience administering daily medication and responding calmly during emergency situations. We understand the patience, attention, and love that special-needs pets require because we’ve lived it ourselves. We know how hard it can be to trust someone else with your animal, and that’s why we care for every dog as if they were our own — with compassion, safety, and the same love we gave our own family pets. Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine as it did for 22 years. During the summer, our teenage son is also home and enjoys helping with walks, playtime, and attention. Our daughter is also a huge helper and has a love for animals. Dogs receive consistent care, companionship, and plenty of love. We care for pets like they are part of the family. In our home, pets receive plenty of attention, supervised playtime, regular potty breaks, walks, feeding on their normal schedule, and a safe, comfortable environment. We also have experience administering daily medications and caring for special-needs pets. In a client’s home, we follow their pet’s routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable, secure, and stress-free while their owners are away.
