About: I have grown up in a house with cats since I was an infant and quickly learned to care for them from a young age. As I grew older and entered my teen years I began volunteering to take care of shelter cats just as a little something to brighten my day, and to make sure all the shelter kitties were loved. I have always been able to quickly identify when something was wrong with my own cats, and was the reason both of my cats got the medicine needed to treat allergies/ asthma. In 2018, fresh out of high school and not looking to work in fast food, I decided to take my love for dogs and turn it into a job. With a regular client base of 10, and 30 something here-and-there's, I was the top-dog in my small town. I could go into any pet related establishment and they'd know my name and what I offered. All of my business was from word of mouth. When I discovered Rover, I joined a bigger community of animal lovers. In 2022, I moved away from Rover to work in the doggy daycare business. After a PCS across the country here to Northern Virginia, I am now the manager at a different doggy daycare. The biggest thing I have noticed working in commercial pet care, is that not every dog needs a $50 trip to daycare. I also have three german shepherds at home that require a good amount of my attention. I do not offer boarding or pet sitting because of this. About: Hello I'm a fellow dog owner. My Charlie is a 30 pound sheltie mix and gets along with everyone. He's super friendly so he'll get along with your dog. I work from home two days out of the week and I'm available on weekends for doggy daycare where they'll play in the backyard, get walks, I'll make sure they eat, and get enough water. I can do over night any day of the week as well. The days I work from home are Tuesdays and Fridays. If you have questions please feel free to ask. I'm very accommodating but obviously I do have concerns. I have two crates and two beds on my own they can used so you don't have to bring your own.

About: I owned a dog for most of my life. My dog sadly passed away after fifteen great years of happiness! I watch my friend's dogs when they go out of town because I'm usually always reliable and do most of my work inside my home. I am not lazy with taking dogs on walks and I care for pets like they are my own :) I am a stay at home mom to a 2 year old so I am always home to care for your loved one. About: Hi! My name is Sarah. I grew up taking care of our family dog, rabbit, guinea pigs and fish. I feel comfortable and confident walking/caring for all different sizes and ages of dogs due to previously working for a dog walking/pet sitting company in the NOVA area during 2016-2017. During that year, I was also was responsible for overnight stays, and day time cat visits. My primary experience with pet care since that time has been taking care of my own dog (his name is Rudy, he is a toy poodle who has been the best friend we could dream of for almost 10 years and counting). I am in the medical field and am currently in between jobs, which allows my schedule to be flexible. I am available every weekday (and most weekends). For house sitting, I will keep to your desired schedule. I can stay and keep your pets company all day (as long as my Rover schedule allows, feel free to ask me!) or visit multiple times throughout the day before staying overnight. For dog walking, your dog’s safety is my top priority. I will avoid other dogs and if walking 2 dogs at the same time, I use a waist leash. I prefer to use a harness and non-retractable leashes (when available). Before or after their walk, we can also play fetch/play with toys inside or outside (if you have a fenced in yard). For cat visits, I am happy to clean their litter boxes, feed them, and play with them inside your home (only if they are interested, of course!) For either dogs or cats, I am able to administer oral or injectable medication if needed.

I’m currently a senior in high school and I’m mostly available during weekends at any time. Sometimes I’m available on weekday afternoons. I pay attention to details, I’m very careful and I will follow all the directions to give your pets a safe and fun time.
About: I have watched other people’s dogs and cats, and have cared for my own 2 dogs and 2 cats that I raised from being kittens and puppies. Im a Us army veteran and do not have a job. Using this as a side job before starting school. Lots of free time to watch your fur babies. I feed, let out, play, walk, wash, brush my dogs. as well as pay attention to their needs and signs, and spend time with them. I feed and play with my cats as well as give them love when they want it and attend to their needs like replacing water and cleaning litter boxes.
About: I’ve been watching neighbors pets since I was in middle school, walking both puppies and adult dogs! I currently have one 2 year old lab mix and a senior cat :) Ive owned/lived with various breeds, but would prefer to care for smaller dogs! I’m comfortable and familiar with walking multiple dogs and have experience with puppy training and medication administration (shots, drops, pills, etc). Happy to answer any questions! I work from home with a pretty flexible schedule so I’m able to do a mid day walks or check ins! Evenings and weekends are flexible for me. Happy to stay with your fur babies at your home and spend the day with them while I work :) I am completely open during the holidays and would love to spend time with your pets! Because of my schedule, I am able to dedicate as much attention as your animals need! As many walks or potty breaks, play time or cuddles as they want or need and I can work around that :)
