I have also aided my own doggo through a seizure and helped transport him to the ER. About: I had two dogs growing up (Snowball and Mocha) and in recent years, have dog sat for friends, friends, and for Rover clients. It's rewarding and super fun for me! I enjoy the long walks in my neighborhood (I live in an awesome neighborhood for that) and lots of cuddles/belly rubs with the dogs I am sitting! I work from home most of the week and have plenty of time during the day for neighborhood strolls/walks with my rover pups. I love going for walks to take a break so would take the dog out at least 3 or 4 times a day with me. My husband and I live in a 2 bedroom/2 floor condo with a balcony. The dog would have access to the first floor. We have hard wood floors, a ton of really great light and are on the 3rd floor. There are no elevators in this building. We have a ton of neighbors who have dogs, an elementary school near by with a nice track/green space, and lots of side walk space for walks.

About: My first two rescues were Rottweilers my third and only child is the child that my mom blessed me with. She is a needy, loving girl but high energy so I’ve dealt with everything from couch potato to high Strong lovely I work from home and my height energy baby is used to go out multiple times a day and she is great with any dog she needs. I don’t have a fenced yard, but I am very active walking them in the neighborhood and we will always make time to go out. We are sidekick and we go walking together, dog parks together, but also she has not ever met a dog that she doesn’t love. Even those in the neighborhood that don’t get along with others love her. I do not have kids, but my nieces who are 5 to 9 or around her often so she is great with them, but I also understand those that don’t want their dog around kids so I will not bring them around them if they are uncomfortable.

About: I have currently have 2 dogs which I adore so much! I love playing with dogs and love spending time with then and other dogs in my neighborhood on my free time. I will ensure your dog feels at home and will take care of them as if they were my own. I currently work from home full time along with my fiancé. I wake up early to walk my dogs in the Morning before all my work calls and will take them out again usually at noon after my last call. I also have a third person (my mom who’s retired) that is free all day that watches the dogs when I’m in my office. The dogs usually are free to roam around the house and there’s usually a person on all 3 floors. I have a fenced back yard that the dogs can play if they like. I also have a large crate in my basement as well. There are at least 2 people at home most of the day that will watch the dogs play. About: I have almost 30 years of experience taking care of pets, from mostly dogs, to gerbils, to fish, to rabbits, and even cats. It all started by taking care of my aunt and uncle's dog and cat while they were away. I also helped my cousins with their rabbits when we were younger. Over the years, my family had many goldfish (won from fairs or carnivals), two gerbils, and a black lab who lived almost 14 years. In college, one of my roommates got a rabbit that we all worked together to take care of as well. Now, I mainly help family and friends with their pets while they're away, but I would love to branch out. I enjoy taking dogs for walks and playing with them in the backyard (or inside a house if it's allowed). About: Hi! My name is Sarah. I grew up taking care of our family dog, rabbit, guinea pigs and fish. I feel comfortable and confident walking/caring for all different sizes and ages of dogs due to previously working for a dog walking/pet sitting company in the NOVA area during 2016-2017. During that year, I was also was responsible for overnight stays, and day time cat visits. My primary experience with pet care since that time has been taking care of my own dog (his name is Rudy, he is a toy poodle who has been the best friend we could dream of for almost 10 years and counting). I am in the medical field and am currently in between jobs, which allows my schedule to be flexible. I am available every weekday (and most weekends). For house sitting, I will keep to your desired schedule as my Rover schedule allows (as I will likely need to leave a few times during the day for other pet visits). I am comfortable staying overnight in your home. For dog walking, your dog’s safety is my top priority. I will avoid other dogs and if walking 2 dogs at the same time, I use a waist leash. I prefer to use a harness and non-retractable leashes (when available). Before or after their walk, we can also play fetch/play with toys inside or outside (if you have a fenced in yard). For cat visits, I am happy to clean their litter boxes, feed them, and play with them inside your home (only if they are interested, of course!) For either dogs or cats, I am able to administer oral or injectable medication if needed.

“Mary watched my two dogs a total of four times for three days at a time, and I waited till the last visit to write a review. Mary is absolutely awesome. My youngest can be a handful at times, but Mary is extremely patient, caring, and truly just loves dogs. I received a message from Mary on the second visit that my dog threw up and was not feeling good. She asks me if she can boil chicken breast and rice for him to have something easier on the stomach. This just made me feel good about leaving them in her care and that she had his best interest. She truly wants the best for them. She is the first person my dog has ever ran up to invitingly and was not timid of. I will definitely be going back to Mary if I’m in need of a good dog sitter.”
