About: I live on post at Fort Belvoir- yes base access. Hello friends! My name is Breanna and I have been working with dogs for 6 years. In 2018, fresh out of high school and not looking to work in fast food, I decided to take my love for dogs and turn it into a job. With a regular client base of 10, and 30 something here-and-there's, I was the top-dog in my small town. I could go into any pet related establishment and they'd know my name and what I offered. All of my business was from word of mouth. When I discovered Rover, I joined a bigger community of animal lovers. In 2022, I moved away from Rover to work in the doggy daycare business. After a PCS across the country here to Northern Virginia, I am now the manager at a different doggy daycare. The biggest thing I have noticed working in commercial pet care, is that not every dog needs a $50 trip to daycare. A lot of dogs I see are stressed out in the new environment, or taking the most expensive 6 hour nap. My goal is to be the person that comes along and gives you a personalized experience cultivated to your pets specific needs, and give your wallet a break as well. To offer a service that leaves you with a smile and your pup a wagging tail. I have experience with any breed you can think of, alongside basic medical care and dog training. I'm a jack-russell of all trades. I currently work 6:30-3pm most days, and my calendar will be accurately and timely updated. As mentioned, I do work full time. I also have three german shepherds at home that require a good amount of my attention. I do not offer boarding or pet sitting because of this. About: Hi! My name is Sarah. I grew up taking care of our family dog, rabbit, guinea pigs and fish. I feel comfortable and confident walking/caring for all different sizes and ages of dogs due to previously working for a dog walking/pet sitting company in the NOVA area during 2016-2017. During that year, I was also was responsible for overnight stays, and day time cat visits. My primary experience with pet care since that time has been taking care of my own dog (his name is Rudy, he is a toy poodle who has been the best friend we could dream of for almost 10 years and counting). I am in the medical field and am currently in between jobs, which allows my schedule to be flexible. I am available every weekday (and most weekends). For house sitting, I will keep to your desired schedule as my Rover schedule allows (as I will likely need to leave a few times during the day for other pet visits). I am comfortable staying overnight in your home. For dog walking, your dog’s safety is my top priority. I will avoid other dogs and if walking 2 dogs at the same time, I use a waist leash. I prefer to use a harness and non-retractable leashes (when available). Before or after their walk, we can also play fetch/play with toys inside or outside (if you have a fenced in yard). For cat visits, I am happy to clean their litter boxes, feed them, and play with them inside your home (only if they are interested, of course!) For either dogs or cats, I am able to administer oral or injectable medication if needed.
About: I have cared for pets with my family since I was a baby, and I have been volunteering with animal rescues since the age of 14! (to care for and clean up after cats/dogs.) I also own 14 fish tanks, and 2 beautiful kitties. All very well loved animals. I am a college student majoring in environmental science and marine and estuarine sciences. So I would be able to check in on pets or give some play/walk time in the afternoons/early evenings as well as all weekend In my own home my pets go on walks to relieve themselves due to living in an apartment. I have cared for other pets who need walks and have fenced in backyards.
About: I’ve been watching neighbors pets since I was in middle school, walking both puppies and adult dogs! I currently have one 2 year old lab mix and a senior cat :) Ive owned/lived with various breeds, but would prefer to care for smaller dogs! I’m comfortable and familiar with walking multiple dogs and have experience with puppy training and medication administration (shots, drops, pills, etc). Happy to answer any questions! I work from home with a pretty flexible schedule so I’m able to do a mid day walks or check ins! Evenings and weekends are flexible for me. Happy to stay with your fur babies at your home and spend the day with them while I work :) I am completely open during the holidays and would love to spend time with your pets! Because of my schedule, I am able to dedicate as much attention as your animals need! As many walks or potty breaks, play time or cuddles as they want or need and I can work around that :)
About: Currently offering services to the Fort Belvoir area. I don’t own a pet currently, but I was a pet owner for more than 7 years before my dog passed away a few years ago. I enjoy daily walks, runs and playing with different types of breeds, big and small. I provide basic grooming services like tooth brushing, bathing, and cleaning after your pet (to include washing their bed when necessary). Trusting your pet enjoys walks alongside a stroller and time with toddlers, they can enjoy their time playing ball or walking around the neighborhood with us.If needed, I can also administer medications for your pet.
