She's not just knowledgeable and reassuring, she's sweet and kind and will love your fur babies for you. I live in Roanoke, whereas she's in Moneta. But this was such a blessing!! I wanted somewhere Harriet could run and play and feel free and happy. Jody delivers this in a big way- she has several yards of varying sizes with over animals to play with. I kept telling my girl she was going to summer camp, and it turned out to be so true. I don't think she even missed me that much! Please don't let the distance deter you. Jody even offers pickup and drop off services. Harriet gets so anxious going to a boarder's house, but as soon as Jody pulled up, Harriet started wagging her tail and jumped right in her car before I could say goodbye. She's with the dogs all the time- you won't be leaving your pup with someone who leaves them alone. Harriet is very social, and I can tell from just the pictures and videos that her physical, mental, and emotional needs are being met in every way. Please seriously consider Jody- she's phenomenal. I don't really want to tell you this because I want to keep her all to myself, but that would be a gross injustice. She's the best. I won't even consider anyone else again- I'll just move my vacation plans around.”

During the “meet and greet” Penny had us come in and take him straight to the fenced back yard where he could sniff around and go to the bathroom. Knowing about his anxiety, once we went back inside, Penny never tried to pet him, she just allowed him to get used to her being in the room. She was a very calming presence for him. Evan likewise was patient with him and allowed him the time it took to settle and get comfortable. We are thrilled to have found Penny and Even and the bonus is that they live about 4 minutes from our house! We have already booked the next daycare appointment!”

I know how important peace of mind is when you're away, so I'm happy to provide regular updates and photos to keep you connected with your furry - or scaly - friend. I will also maintain any home-related needs while you're away. All mail and packages will be brought in daily, trash/recycling bins will be on the curb on pickup day, and dust/fur will be vacuumed regularly. I will thoroughly clean your kitchen and bathrooms before I leave, and I will launder any bedding/towels I use so there will be no clean-up on your arrival home. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! I am currently working a part time research job at FBRI in downtown Roanoke, so I have plenty of flexibility with my schedule. When I'm not working, I enjoy hiking, gardening, all things tea, and exploring the beautiful state of VA with my husband. I currently offer services at my client's homes. From house-sitting to drop-ins, I cater to specific needs and requests for each individual and their companions.

About: Owned a dog since forever. Currently have 2 shelties-3yrs and 1yrs old. But have taken care of dogs all breeds, sizes, ages, and stages of life. I am currently taking a break from my career to reset, recharge, and just enjoy life with my 2 young Shelties. Daily we walk, run, play. It is part of our life. Cat wise my cats care is part of our daily routine. I spoil them and have cat trees in windows for them to watch the neighborhood and provide them with all their favorite toys. About: I’ve had a dog in my household ever since I was 5 years old and would love to meet and help you with your fur baby! I work as a hairstylist at a salon Tuesday through Friday and also work occasional weekends at an Italian restaurant. Outside of work, I enjoy spending my free time doing different crafts and DIY projects, reading on my Kindle, or relaxing with one of my pups while watching a good movie. About: I have helped train and care for my own dogs since I was 8 years old. I have house sat, done drop in visits and walked dogs for neighbors and friends. She's not just knowledgeable and reassuring, she's sweet and kind and will love your fur babies for you. I live in Roanoke, whereas she's in Moneta. But this was such a blessing!! I wanted somewhere Harriet could run and play and feel free and happy. Jody delivers this in a big way- she has several yards of varying sizes with over animals to play with. I kept telling my girl she was going to summer camp, and it turned out to be so true. I don't think she even missed me that much! Please don't let the distance deter you. Jody even offers pickup and drop off services. Harriet gets so anxious going to a boarder's house, but as soon as Jody pulled up, Harriet started wagging her tail and jumped right in her car before I could say goodbye. She's with the dogs all the time- you won't be leaving your pup with someone who leaves them alone. Harriet is very social, and I can tell from just the pictures and videos that her physical, mental, and emotional needs are being met in every way. Please seriously consider Jody- she's phenomenal. I don't really want to tell you this because I want to keep her all to myself, but that would be a gross injustice. She's the best. I won't even consider anyone else again- I'll just move my vacation plans around.”
