During the “meet and greet” Penny had us come in and take him straight to the fenced back yard where he could sniff around and go to the bathroom. I adore animals and understand their unique personalities and needs—whether your companion is playful, shy, or energetic, I'll ensure they're happy and well cared for while you're away. I know how important peace of mind is when you're away, so I'm happy to provide regular updates and photos to keep you connected with your furry - or scaly - friend. I will also maintain any home-related needs while you're away. All mail and packages will be brought in daily, trash/recycling bins will be on the curb on pickup day, and dust/fur will be vacuumed regularly. I will thoroughly clean your kitchen and bathrooms before I leave, and I will launder any bedding/towels I use so there will be no clean-up on your arrival home. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! I am currently working a part time research job at FBRI in downtown Roanoke, so I have plenty of flexibility with my schedule. When I'm not working, I enjoy hiking, gardening, all things tea, and exploring the beautiful state of VA with my husband. I currently offer services at my client's homes. From house-sitting to drop-ins, I cater to specific needs and requests for each individual and their companions. If you have multiple cats, I will only charge for 1 cat. Please list all pets, and I will manually remove the charges for the extra cats before booking.
About: Over the years, I have fostered, loved and cared for many different pets. Dogs, cats, birds, turtles, fish and crabs, rabbits & etc. I have a passion for dogs, especially! I am a strong believer in treating our pets as well as our kids!! It is very easy for me to connect with animals- that is where most of my passion comes from. I have also fed, bathed, kennel/potty trained and provided medication dogs of many different breeds, sizes, ages & temperaments. I can be extremely flexible. I am conveniently located near Downtown Roanoke, which helps me stay easily and readily available. Typically available for 2-3 check-ins/walks per day. My number one priority will be your pets safety! I will send updates and photos during every visit to reassure you that your pet is well taken care of.
About: I’ve had a dog in my household ever since I was 5 years old and would love to meet and help you with your fur baby! I work as a hairstylist at a salon Tuesday through Friday and also work occasional weekends at an Italian restaurant. Outside of work, I enjoy spending my free time doing different crafts and DIY projects, reading on my Kindle, or relaxing with one of my pups while watching a good movie. I also love getting outside for evening walks with my dogs and spending time playing fetch and throwing the ball around. I enjoy staying busy, being creative, and making the most of my time both at work and at home. I love my pets like they are family and will treat yours like they’re my own.
