About: In my experience, cats are much more comfortable in their own homes, with visits from a caretaker person. I have had cats and been around cats all my life. I understand cats and won’t push them to be friendly if that’s not the cat’s personality. Kittens are another matter entirely. Please know that if they are destructive or high-energy, that is going to be a problem.

My Bruno (12 lb Biewer Terrier) and my regular daycare friends will keep your pup company - as well as my two attentive and careful children (12 & 9). We will love your pet as if he/she is our own! As a teenager, I raised cockatiels and I volunteered for the Museum of Life and Sciences in Durham, NC taking care of exotic animals of all types and sizes. Now that we have a yard, I've been living my dream of having my own dog (5+ years). It turns out I am great with dogs! • I limit boarding to smaller dog breeds with the rare exception for daycare when I know the family and larger dog plays well. • I work from home, so I will be with them all day. • I have a large fenced-in backyard, where they can get their zoomies out, and go for potty breaks as needed. I go outside a lot, which brings them outside more too (they like to be wherever I am!) • If your dog likes car rides, let me know, he/she can come along for short errands and pickups to and from school. • I can watch other kinds of pets, as long as you can easily transport them to me: Birds, bunnies, etc. using my “cat” rate on Rover. Request a cat boarding and let me know about your pet. • I do not watch cats. We have allergies to them To get started, we will have a meet & greet over video or in person, and book from there. I'm constantly checking that the gates are closed. They can sleep anywhere in our house, and most are comfortable doing so without a crate. When the weather is nice, I'll work on our deck to give them more outside time (because let's face it... these velcro sweeties want to be wherever I am!)

About: I started dog sitting for neighbors when we lost our dog in 2013 and we really missed our Lab, Bailey. We adopted a lab mix about 4 years ago, who gets along well with dogs that visit. We have a good amount of experience and about 5 regular clients who come back again and again. I have one teenager at home who also can help. We have a pretty good set up with a cabinet for dog food, drawer for doggie medicines and a place to hang leashes. We have a big deck and fenced yard, so dogs often lie in the sun on our deck. Come visit! I work from home a lot and have a very flexible schedule. So dogs are never alone for long. I walk dogs twice a day at least and play in the yard sometimes. I hade a fenced yard in a quiet suburban neighborhood. Very little traffic and very friendly neighbors. We have woods around as well so dogs love it.

I’m very active and physically strong, which allows me to safely walk and handle dogs of different sizes in our area. We have access to many beautiful trails nearby, perfect for safe and enriching walks. By default, we take dogs on three walks per day, but if your dog needs more frequent potty breaks or extra exercise, we’re more than happy to accommodate their routine. My husband is also home and helps with walks and care, so your dog will always have multiple attentive adults making sure they’re safe, loved, and well cared for. I live in an apartment surrounded by green spaces in a very pet-friendly neighborhood. Inside our home, there’s a cozy bed by a window with lots of activity—my dog Layla’s favorite spot to keep an eye on the neighborhood—and many dogs enjoy relaxing there too. About: Since I was little I always have had a love for dogs. I used to walk to my neighbors house and ask to walk their dog, because I of how bad I wanted one. Once I got my dog, I feel in love right way. I love and know how to care for dogs of all sizes, and needs! I'm free all days of the week! Right now I am taking a NOVA summer class to get ahead, so I will need to allocate some time to that. But my class will end after the first week of July. I have a fenced backyard, so I let my dog go out when he wants while also watching him. Also my dog is very calm, and doesn't run off. So When he wants to sit in the front yard, I let him off the leash but I stay outside to make sure nothing happens.

About: Huge lover of dogs and puppies of all sizes and breeds! I grew up with family dogs and fostered dogs throughout college; it was a super rewarding and FUN experience. I’ve dealt with shy dogs, dogs with anxiety and pups as young as 6 weeks. Eventually I adopted my own and I can now say I’ve spent hours on end at dog parks. I am a happy owner of a 5 year old mix named Tucker (DOB: 9/20/17) and 1 year old golden retriever puppy named Skye (DOB: 3/20/22). My fiancé and I as a team will both be responsible for your fur babies so you get 2 dog sitters for the price of 1! We would love to meet, care and play with your pup and I'm sure our dogs will too. Just to note: Tucker is weary with humans and will bark his head off the second he sees a PERSON he doesn’t know... but other than that, he has no problems with other dogs and would love to hang out with yours! I work a hybrid job which means my work from home days change every week depending on my teams' schedule: ON DAYS I AM IN THE OFFICE, I'm usually there from 9an-4pm. We have a pet camera in our living room and our dogs do perfectly fine while at work. As soon as I get home we play and go on neighborhood walks or to the dog park. If your dog is house trained and/or crate trained and have no issues being left out or in the crate in a calm environment they can come hang out with Tucker & Skye during the day! ON DAYS THAT I WORK FROM HOME, your dog will get all the attention they could possibly want. Constant play with my dogs and walks throughout the day are guaranteed as we live in a very dog-friendly neighborhood with a ton of walking paths & parks. When your dog stays with me you can expect: 1. A team of 2 dog sitters for the price of 1! (my fiancé and I) 2. Lots of play with our two dogs (mix & golden retriever) 2. Walks around the neighborhood 3. Photo updates to show that you’re dog is happy, comfy and settling in okay! A couple things to note: 1. My fiancé and I actually JUST moved to Sterling area from Chantilly, so it will be the two of us watching your pup and you letting us watch your pup will give us time to explore all the walking trails around our house! 2. We have 2 dogs in the house currently (your dog must get along with other dogs). Both our dogs are typically low-key and just laze around with us, but they are also always ready to walk and play at all times. 3. We have a (small) fenced patio area to play and be outside. They will have plenty of space inside and outside to play with each other, however, since we don't have a HUGE yard like our old place, your dog(s) will join ours on our neighborhood walks. 4. DAY CARE THAT EXCEEDS 9 HOURS will be charged an extra $10 for that day
About: I have had several dogs but do not currently have any pets. I have had to give medicine to dogs and lots of experience with puppy “accidents”. I’m a teacher, so during summer and breaks I have lots of free time. I have two boys, both of whom love animals. They would love to have a pet visit our home. I can only house-sit when I don’t have my children with me, but can board an animal anytime. Important to note that during the school year my Friday availability is evening only. I have a fenced yard. At my home, I can almost guarantee your dog or cat would get to sleep in a child’s bed and be loved like family. At your home, I would respect any rules you have set.
About: We only take hypo-allergenic dogs. We have a great backyard and love going for walks. We have three kids who love dogs. We also have two pups that love to play too! Enjoy taking pups for morning and afternoon walks and letting dogs out to play in backyard anytime. My kids enjoy playing with pups when they get home from school. We are a smoke free, clean and eager to play with an additional pup. We only take hyper-allergenic dogs and are firm on this. So please don’t choose us if you don’t have these kind of dogs.

They both sent pictures daily which was always welcome as our kids loved seeing some of the things Harley was up to while she was away from us. His back door walks out to a huge, fenced yard with no steps, which is easy for senior dogs.”

As soon as we pull up to her driveway he immediately knows where he is and gets so excited to go inside and play with her dog. You can tell her and her family are so warm with their pets.
