About: In my experience, cats are much more comfortable in their own homes, with visits from a caretaker person. I have had cats and been around cats all my life. I understand cats and won’t push them to be friendly if that’s not the cat’s personality. Kittens are another matter entirely. About: I started dog sitting for neighbors when we lost our dog in 2013 and we really missed our Lab, Bailey. We adopted a lab mix about 4 years ago, who gets along well with dogs that visit. We have a good amount of experience and about 5 regular clients who come back again and again. I have one teenager at home who also can help. We have a pretty good set up with a cabinet for dog food, drawer for doggie medicines and a place to hang leashes. We have a big deck and fenced yard, so dogs often lie in the sun on our deck. Come visit! I work from home a lot and have a very flexible schedule. So dogs are never alone for long. I walk dogs twice a day at least and play in the yard sometimes. I hade a fenced yard in a quiet suburban neighborhood. Very little traffic and very friendly neighbors. We have woods around as well so dogs love it.

My Bruno (12 lb Biewer Terrier) and my regular daycare friends will keep your pup company - as well as my two attentive and careful children (12 & 9). We will love your pet as if he/she is our own! As a teenager, I raised cockatiels and I volunteered for the Museum of Life and Sciences in Durham, NC taking care of exotic animals of all types and sizes. Now that we have a yard, I've been living my dream of having my own dog (5+ years). It turns out I am great with dogs! • I limit boarding to smaller dog breeds with the rare exception for daycare when I know the family and larger dog plays well. • I work from home, so I will be with them all day. • I have a large fenced-in backyard, where they can get their zoomies out, and go for potty breaks as needed. About: I have had several dogs but do not currently have any pets. I have had to give medicine to dogs and lots of experience with puppy “accidents”. I’m a teacher, so during summer and breaks I have lots of free time. I have two boys, both of whom love animals. They would love to have a pet visit our home. I can only house-sit when I don’t have my children with me, but can board an animal anytime. Important to note that during the school year my Friday availability is evening only. I have a fenced yard. At my home, I can almost guarantee your dog or cat would get to sleep in a child’s bed and be loved like family. At your home, I would respect any rules you have set.

His back door walks out to a huge, fenced yard with no steps, which is easy for senior dogs.”
“Terrific 1st experience with Leanna caring for Skylar, our 7 yr. old hound mix. She is an experienced foster, dog-walker and pet boarder, with a calm, easy manner, used to most any pet behavior. Skylar was well cared for and got to experience life with other pets for company. We felt so comfortable with Skylar in her care for almost 3 weeks.”
