“Mary watched my two dogs a total of four times for three days at a time, and I waited till the last visit to write a review. Mary is absolutely awesome. My youngest can be a handful at times, but Mary is extremely patient, caring, and truly just loves dogs. I received a message from Mary on the second visit that my dog threw up and was not feeling good. She asks me if she can boil chicken breast and rice for him to have something easier on the stomach. This just made me feel good about leaving them in her care and that she had his best interest. She truly wants the best for them. She is the first person my dog has ever ran up to invitingly and was not timid of. I will definitely be going back to Mary if I’m in need of a good dog sitter.”

About: I have cared for all different breeds and sizes of dogs over the years. I grew up with large and small dogs and have pet sit for coworkers with large dogs, cats, bunnies, etc. I recently lost my soul dog to hemangiosarcoma and want to make a difference for other dogs and provide the care they need. I just do not have it in my heart to remove her from my profile just yet. My girl had special needs such as leash/barrier reactivity, aggression, and a bite history prior to adopting her. I am comfortable working with dogs with those needs as well. She had taken several medications over the years and I am comfortable giving pet meds. I am currently working full time Monday through Friday, I am usually available on weekends. I would also be willing to board dogs during the days that I work as I don’t work too far from home. “Just perfect. Michelle has a lovely home with a nice park and lake area in the backyard for the dogs to enjoy. Very safe area well away from roads. Michelle communicated very well, sent photos and updates, and was completely flexible with drop off and pickup times. Someone was home with my pup all the time and Zoey really seemed to love her stay with Michelle. Highly recommended.”
“Mary watched my two dogs a total of four times for three days at a time, and I waited till the last visit to write a review. Mary is absolutely awesome. My youngest can be a handful at times, but Mary is extremely patient, caring, and truly just loves dogs. I received a message from Mary on the second visit that my dog threw up and was not feeling good. She asks me if she can boil chicken breast and rice for him to have something easier on the stomach. This just made me feel good about leaving them in her care and that she had his best interest. She truly wants the best for them. She is the first person my dog has ever ran up to invitingly and was not timid of. I will definitely be going back to Mary if I’m in need of a good dog sitter.”

About: Former doggy daycare, boarding and grooming owner. Trustworthy, always excited to exercise the pups. My coworkers include 2 year old golden (Finn) and 15 year old son. Getting out with Finn after work and on weekends brings me joy so I’d like to bring that same joy to other pups. Having a teenage son in an highly expensive sport and needing a car, I’ve decided to get back to walking and dog sitting: I walk daily with my Finn and want to provide the same walks to others that need it. Available everyday. Generally don’t walk after sunset but depending the lighting and area I could make an exception. I have a home with a large yard in Lorton across from trails and parks. The yard is fenced in everywhere but at the end of driveway.
