They worked with him several different ways to get him to take it because my dog wouldn't follow the way he does for me at home. I apprecaited their patience and care. I received updates very quickly on the first day. After that, the updates were less frequent, but when I reached out to ask, they were quick to respond. My dog went with them happily which set my heart at ease. This was the first time I had left him with someone other than family. When I picked him up, he was glad to see me, but didn't appear to be anxious or traumatized in any way. When we visit Williamsburg again, I will definitely check with them to keep my dog again.”

I’m a full-time teacher, so I’m at work during the school day, but I’m home after school and have afternoons and evenings to spend with the dogs. My husband has a flexible schedule and typically doesn’t start work until around 10:00 AM and is home by about 3:00 PM. This means your pup won’t be alone for long stretches of time, and there is someone around during much of the day. Our mornings are busy with getting the kids ready for school, but we make time for potty breaks, breakfast, and some attention before everyone heads out. Once the kids are home from school, things become more active! We enjoy walks, outdoor play, and spending time together as a family. We live in the gated community of Fords Colony, so the walking paths for your pup are perfect and safe. Your pup will get plenty of attention, playtime, and opportunities to relax throughout the afternoon and evening. We’re happy to follow your dog’s normal feeding, walking, potty, and medication routines as closely as possible. Our goal is to make their stay feel comfortable, safe, and as much like home as possible!

About: We’re a dog-loving family with experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and energy levels. We have two dogs of our own: a senior Lab/hound mix and a middle-aged Great Dane. We’re comfortable with everything from energetic playtime to older dogs who prefer a slower pace, and we’re happy to follow your dog’s normal routines, feeding schedule, and house rules. We both work hybrid schedules, so someone is home with the dogs most of the time. Dogs get regular outdoor breaks throughout the day and plenty of attention and interaction. I rescued 2 dogs, brother and sister, from the woods when they were 6wks old. They made it to be 16. I do have issues with my left leg/foot and lower back. About: I've been around dogs my whole life. I grew up with them, cared for and dog sat for over 15 years while being a nannny. I've had two dogs of my own as well. About: My family has had dogs forever, ranging from small medium and large so growing up with all kinds of dogs has given me experience in how to handle any situation with any dog! I’m currently a college student and away from my dog at home and am looking for any way to have more interactions with pets. Also, my most recent dog is now 2 years old and I did the majority of training, so if there are any needs or wants for training while I am sitting, I am more than capable. I’m currently a full time student and on the William & Mary Varsity Men’s soccer team, however, I have many breaks throughout my day. The only block of the day I’m usually completely unavailable is from 2-6PM When caring for pets in clients homes you can expect the utmost respect for the home but also a willingness to learn how you usually handle your dog at home. Whether that is using the crate and having some more strict guidelines, or if it is a more relaxed environment.

“Teona and Louelyn were great with my dog. He is stubborn about taking his medication. They worked with him several different ways to get him to take it because my dog wouldn't follow the way he does for me at home. I apprecaited their patience and care. I received updates very quickly on the first day. After that, the updates were less frequent, but when I reached out to ask, they were quick to respond. My dog went with them happily which set my heart at ease. This was the first time I had left him with someone other than family. When I picked him up, he was glad to see me, but didn't appear to be anxious or traumatized in any way. When we visit Williamsburg again, I will definitely check with them to keep my dog again.”

Our family has been used to having furry friends for a long time. I’m a teacher and my husband is a travel soccer club director, so our home is active, family-oriented, and full of love. Our goal is for every dog who stays with us to have a happy, safe, and fun stay!🐶❤️ A Typical Day in Our Home 🐾 Our home has a nice balance of structure, activity, and plenty of attention for our four-legged guests. I’m a full-time teacher, so I’m at work during the school day, but I’m home after school and have afternoons and evenings to spend with the dogs. My husband has a flexible schedule and typically doesn’t start work until around 10:00 AM and is home by about 3:00 PM. This means your pup won’t be alone for long stretches of time, and there is someone around during much of the day. Our mornings are busy with getting the kids ready for school, but we make time for potty breaks, breakfast, and some attention before everyone heads out. Once the kids are home from school, things become more active! We enjoy walks, outdoor play, and spending time together as a family. We live in the gated community of Fords Colony, so the walking paths for your pup are perfect and safe. Your pup will get plenty of attention, playtime, and opportunities to relax throughout the afternoon and evening. We’re happy to follow your dog’s normal feeding, walking, potty, and medication routines as closely as possible. Our goal is to make their stay feel comfortable, safe, and as much like home as possible!
