Ginger had ZERO separation anxiety when I picked her up and brought her back to my house. She normally has very extreme separation anxiety and I was out of town for a long time, so this was a HUGE relief for me (and Ginger I imagine as well!) Having Ginger stay in a loving home environment was so much better for her than the typical dog boarding environments. I feel like I picked up Ginger from an extended sleepover, not an exity filled environment typical to boarding. I highly recommend Julie to watch your pet!!! I'm very interested in dog behavior so I've learned a lot over the years about handling all sizes, levels of reactivity and unique quirks. Can't forget about CATS! About: I’ve personally have two dogs and one cat, but taken care of many more. Puppies, potty accidents, senior dogs, grouchy cats. I love them all! Looking to gain more professional experience with different animal personalities. I am a former dog foster for the Richmond SPCA and Beagles & Bentleys. My availability is mostly open during the week! For weekends, I might need request decently far an advance as I do Rover as my side job. My home has already been made pet friendly and has the space to accommodate 1-2 more pets (depending on size) as I do have two of my own. About: I’ve been dog-sitting for about 5 years now. I’ve mainly taken care of small to medium sized dogs but I’m open to looking after larger dogs as well. I am very reliable and have a lot of energy to keep your dog entertained throughout the day. I love going for walks and and going to dog parks if allowed by the owner. I live in an apartment and it’s dog-friend and the apartment has a dog area where they can relieve themselves. I live in a studio apartment but there’s plenty of open space where your pup can lounge around. I’m very attentive of your dogs needs, so I stay on top of taking them out for walks and making sure their water bowl is kept full and following their feeding schedule. Also open to grooming and showering your dog, especially if they are staying overnight with me. If your pup is energetic and loves to play we will be a great match!!

About: I frequently dogsit for friends and family, and I've had my soul-dog for 5 years! She's a rescue shepherd-husky mix and has taught me SO much about training and caring for a smart, high-energy dog! She's entering her senior years and has slowed down a lot, which means I have more time in my day to care for other pups, whether it's a check-in, walk, or boarding in my home. I have a fenced front and back yard, and with my location in Church Hill, there are countless places to walk and explore. I currently work from home 95% of the time! The other 5% is a mix of working at coffee shops and going in to my work's coworking space, but I'm never away from home for more than 8 hours a day. My days are very flexible and I'm happy to work around you and your pup's schedule! I have a fenced front yard that is grassy and a shady, fenced back patio/yard that pups can run around in. I only take 1 boarding or day-care client at a time, so your dog gets my full attention (alongside my pup!). Your dog must be friendly around other dogs for boarding or day care.
