“Frankie had the best time at Karen’s while I was in town for a wedding! She sent me pictures and updates throughout the night. This was Frankie’s first Rover experience and I can’t lie - I was nervous about his separation anxiety. When I picked him up in the morning it was clear that he felt so comfortable around her and that made me so happy. 10/10 would book again!”

“Jill and Sean were great with our dog Harley. Harley loved her time there and it was great having Sean and Jill keep us updated on how Harley was doing during her stay. They both sent pictures daily which was always welcome as our kids loved seeing some of the things Harley was up to while she was away from us. We definitley will be looking forward to Harley staying with Jill snd Sean for future trips.”

“This is an absolutely fantastic choice for a dog-sitter, in my mind. Leslie was loving, caring and she treated Frances, my terrier-dachshund with the closest and kindest attention—plenty of walks, balanced diet, happy human company to sleep with when she desired, and various places to rest—so Leslie passed those all those important measures. She also sent me photographs with comments fairly often, which delighted me and made me know that Frances was safe and happy! But then, of Great value was the fact that she always could find positive human companionship—her cousin came, and let Frances and another dog, sleep on his knee, looking utterly content, her roommate really liked Frances and showed it, and Leslie did too. AND there was always her dog, and then occasionally a neighbor’s dog or another client’s dog visiting for a number of hours. That was Heaven for Frances, and just what I was hoping for. A place where Frances could be, as Leslie put it, a member of a pack. NOT a large, in any way overwhelming pack, but a small pack, consisting of one or two or conceivably three other dogs, which she could be with. THAT and the essential human warmth which was very much present—was all I could dream of—and Leslie provided it. Thank you so, so much. I will definitely use her services again! Leslie is cause for peace of mind, great happiness and satisfaction for Frances and me.”

About: I've had a dog in my home my entire life, and am always the one my friends/family turn to if they need someone to look after their pets. I have also fostered multiple dogs with leash reactivity, and have had some 1-1 work with an R+ (positive reinforcement) trainer to ensure pups can have the best experience out and about in the world while still getting their sniffs and exercise in. I occasionally run outside so I can offer to run with your pup(s) 1-2 times a week if you'd like, and I live 5 minutes away from Baron Cameron park if you like for them to play with other pups during the day at a dog park as well. Or of course we can just snuggle most of the day while I work from home. Well either way there will be lots of snuggles and pets... My last dog passed away in 2025 after a year long battle with cancer, so I have no problem giving medicine and making sure we stay on a strict schedule with food/medicine if that is what your dog needs. I look forward to becoming your pup's new best friend! I work part-time from home. I'm available for day-sitting while you're at work or overnight boarding when you're out of town. I'm typically up by 7:30, have a fenced in backyard, go on walks/runs throughout the day and love going to the dog park if your pup enjoys it! I have a 6 foot fence in my backyard that your pup can play around in. Take 2-3 x 25 minute walks around the neighborhood throughout the day and can occasionally go for 30-60 minute jogs if your pup enjoys more exercise (1-2/week)
“Tatiana is the best. She takes such good care of my sweet girl and sends lots of pics and videos too. My pup gets social time with other dogs and a cat and she is great to work with. Great communication!”

“Leslie is THE BEST! We were a little worried because this was the first time we left our dog with someone new, but after doing a meet and greet we knew our dog Roxy would be in great hands. During the stay she sent us plenty of pictures and videos updates and Roxy was smiling on them haha we could tell she was happy and enjoying her time with Leslie. She took her on walks, concert, dog park and gave her plenty of cuddles, which Roxy is a big fan! I would/will recommend Leslie to friends and family and here too! She will be the best person to take care of your furry baby with lots of love and fun! Again, thank you Leslie!!!”

“My dog Finn stayed with Catherine for the weekend and she was absolutely the best! She was super communicative and made sure everything went smoothly. He has the best time! Would definitely recommend.”

“Andrew and his family provided such a wonderful and warm home for an anxious pup like ours. It was Colters first time at a sitters home and they made it go as perfectly as possible. We can’t thank Andrew & co enough and highly recommend him to all pup parents!”

“Our dog Bonnie is sensitive and she usually gets nervous when she goes to new places. However, when we met Jennifer for the first time, she immediately started to explore Jennifer's living room, and she seemed very relaxed. When we went to pick her up, she didn't want to leave for a while. That says she had a great time in Jennifer's place. Thank you very much, Jennifer and her family!”

“Finding someone you truly trust with your dog is hard. Finding someone you trust with your elderly dog who requires multiple medications throughout the day? That's nearly impossible — until we found John & Joanna. Our King Charles Cavalier Spaniel, Lola, is a senior girl with a precise care routine, and we left for a seven-day family vacation knowing that. John and Joanna were fantastic. They never missed a medication. They sent updates that put our minds at ease. And they treated Lola not like a responsibility, but like a member of their own family. These two are the real deal. We are already booking them for our next trip, and we cannot recommend them highly enough. Lola approves. And Lola has high standards.”

“This was our first time boarding at a Rover's house and Carolyn and family were a great fit for our senior girl with medication needs. She was very communicative with us and quickly troubleshooted an issue with us. We would definitely have our pup stay here again.”

“Simply the best! We had a family emergency, last minute need for our 2 rescues, one of which is not fully house trained. We arrived 2 days later than planned, stayed 2 days longer. Alana just rolled with the changes, reassured me that she would do what was necessary. We got pics of the fur babies looking very comfortable and at ease. Her home is large with lovely dog friendly yard. Her dog, Murphy, is a sweetheart, very friendly and gentle. I would recommend Alana to anyone.”

“Erica and Kyle took absolutely amazing care of my dog, Rhyme. From the very beginning, it was clear how patient, attentive, and genuinely caring they both are. Rhyme can sometimes be a bit particular, but they handled everything with such calmness and understanding that it immediately put me at ease. What really stood out to me was how much love they showed toward her. It did not feel like just a service—it felt like they truly enjoyed spending time with Rhyme and treated her like their own. Kyle’s patience and Erica’s warmth made such a perfect combination, and I could tell Rhyme was happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. I highly, highly recommend Erica and Kyle to anyone looking for trustworthy and compassionate sitters. I will definitely be booking with them again and again in the future without any hesitation. They are simply the best, and I am so grateful to have found them.”

“Sujan is absolutely wonderful! Very good facilities for boarding. He kept us updated very regularly with photos of our pup and it was clear that he was having a great time! Highly recommend”

“Keira took wonderful care of our dogs for three overnight stays! They were happy to get to know her and her dog Mokka. She took time to learn my dogs personalities and schedules. Highly recommend!”

“Our big poodle had an amazing time with Amethyst. She listened to all our concerns about his anxiety and she was extremely accommodating about keeping him comfortable. We feel like he is so safe and cared for with her and look forward to letting him stay with her in the future.”

About: I have 2 cats. I’ve had them for about 4 years. I’ve also fostered cats of all ages (some with trauma from difficult pasts). I love them all regardless. I’m patient and flexible with cats no matter the personality or care needs.

About: I’ve cared for cats of all ages and personalities since I was young, helping neighbors, friends, and family with feeding, litter care, playtime, and companionship. I’m attentive to each cat’s unique needs—whether that’s giving space to shy cats or engaging playful ones. I respect your home, follow instructions carefully, and provide updates so you feel at ease while you’re away.

About: Hi! I’ve had dogs my entire life, and dog-sat and cared for many different dogs over the years. I will treat your pup like family. They will feel secure and safe and get a lot of attention and affection. I work from home full time and have a very flexible schedule between 8-5. In addition to a great walk, your fur-baby gets cuddles, play time, and loads of love. Your dog will never be left unattended or alone in a yard. In my house, your dog can sleep in the bed if they like (and you OK it). My own dog is a 9 year old trained therapy dog. She is calm, sweet, and gets along with all dogs both big and small, chill or playful. She'll be happy to share her home. I use positive reinforcement only.

“Needed someone to feed our cat over the Christmas weekend as our normal arrangement was unable to do so. Skylar made the in his buddy schedule to make sure our cat was fed and even though he didn't have to, still interacted and played with our cat. He was a real life saver!”

“Leah took great care of my cat during a couple of weekend drop-in visits, including meeting him where he’s at when it comes to warming up to new people. She was also very responsive and kept me updated so that I wasn’t worried while I was out of town.”

“Shauna was great with our 2 cats. She was willing to show up twice a day to give Max his medication which is hard to find. They were well taken care of and healthy and happy when we got back.”

“Erin is an outstanding cat sitter! She takes great care of our cats, and they clearly adore her. Erin is reliable, extremely caring, shares regular updates with cute photos, and keeps everything clean. We always return to happy cats and a tidy home. About: I’ve always had dogs, birds, and lizards surrounding me ever since I was young! I love animals more than anything, and dogs are my absolute favorite, although I am a lover of all furry friends. I love to take care of her, and will do the same for your pets! I have pet sat for many of my friend’s cats and adore their funny personalities as well! I am currently a student, and my classes are in the evening for a short time, so I have some free time to be able to pet sit and walk your pets! My classes end in the evenings early on so if someone needs their pet checked on and walked/ water and fed I am able to come later on in the evening! I have an apartment with lots of walking space, but can drive to anyone to dog sit or walk, and keep your pet comfy and happy with lots of walks, play time, and making sure whatever their routine is, kept accordingly! About: We are a dependable mother–daughter pet sitting team with 30 years of combined pet care and training experience. We have cared for a wide variety of animals, including small and large dogs, puppies, cats, kittens, birds, fish, and other pets. We have puppy training experience and know how to gently reinforce good habits, routines, and leash manners -- through TLC and patience, gentle handling and understanding that every pet has its own personality, pace, and needs. We are energetic pet owners ourselves and are comfortable exercising pets in both urban and suburban settings. We treat every pet with the same loving care, attention, and affection we give our own. Here's a polished 2–3 sentence version: We have had many wonderful dogs over the years and have always loved having them as part of our family but our two beloved senior dogs, Munchie and Charlie, passed away last year and we are not quite ready to turn the page and adopt more dogs. Give us a call if you need trusted, reliable, or flexible pet-sitting, even on short notice! Mom is primary pet sitter, with daughter an apprentice vet often assisting. We are currently working flexible hours and one of us is out of school for the summer, so we have plenty of time and flexibility to play with your pups! We are experienced dog walkers comfortable caring for pets in urban, suburban, park, and country settings. Whether your dog enjoys neighborhood walks, park outings, or a calmer pace, we adjust to each pet’s personality, energy level, and routine. For pet sitting in our home, we have a gated kitchen area where pets can stay safely with us, as well as a fenced patio where they can get fresh air and companionship. We can also crate your pet if that is part of their normal routine or helps them feel secure.

“Our Australian Shepard had a wonderful time with Yulia and Tomas for doggie day care! We could not have been more happy with their kindness, communication, care, and activity level for our dog. They were incredibly prepared and it was clear they offer professional-level services in caring for pets. They knew exactly how to make our dog feel at home and comfortable all day, and in transitioning our dog back to us at the end of the visit. We are so grateful to them for their excellent care!”

“Renee is wonderful in this. This is the first day care experience for our puppy and Renee is very patient to deal with the nipping and teething as well. Our puppy had a great time and glued with her little one. Renee sent pictures and gave updates how she was doing throughout. Will definitely recommend and send our puppy again to Renee for daycare.”

“Renata was wonderful with my dog Princess. Princess immediately loved her. She played and snuggled up too her throughout the day. They had great walks, fun time and Renata took beautiful pictures of our fur baby! We will book her again. Thanks Renata!!!”

“Francisco is an outstanding dog walker! He consistently goes above and beyond to make sure our dog is well cared for. After every walk, he communicates with me and provides thoughtful updates about how everything went, including anything he noticed that I should be aware of. What really stood out to me was his attention to detail and genuine care. During our last walk, it started raining, and he reached out to ask where he could find a towel so he could dry our dog off before leaving. That level of thoughtfulness meant a lot to me and showed how much he truly cares about the pets he looks after. I highly recommend Francisco to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and professional dog walker. Your pet will be in great hands!”

“Shauna is great! She walks our (very energetic) dog weekly. She is responsive, flexible and always on time. Our dog (Kyla) is skid-dish with new people but she warmed up to Shauna very quickly and is always excited to see her. Kyla comes back from her walks happy and tired - well worth it!”

“Christine is the best! She is responsive, communicative and gives nice long walks. My dog is always happy to see her. I feel confident that my sweet pooch is cared for with Christine. I Highly recommend her.”

“Marti is always so wonderful with our dog Hemi! She is very responsive with walking requests when sent. She is flexible with timing and will always make herself available for your doggo. Further, Hemi loves her and at the end of their walk Marti even spends time with our cat giving her AND Hemi both treats and pets.”

“Jennifer has been walking our dog Leo on a regular Tuesday/Thursday schedule (mornings and afternoons), and she’s been fantastic. She’s extremely dependable and always communicates well in advance if there’s ever a schedule change. I feel completely comfortable having her care for Leo. What really stands out is how attentive she is — when Leo got sick, Jennifer noticed right away and alerted me immediately so I could get him to the vet. That kind of attentiveness and care goes well beyond just walking the dog. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, reliable dog walker!”

About: I am on a short career break while waiting for a clearance to come through to start my new job. Looking to fill my days with some furry friends while I wait! I have always been a dog lover and have lots of experience with doodles specifically but love all dogs. I have one pup (Lulu, 2 yr old 35lb mini Bernedoodle) that loves everyone and everything. Currently between jobs and at home most of the day! I am up and at it early during the week either on runs or at the gym. I have a small fenced in yard and live a few steps from 3 of the Reston trail entrances! I am very active and love to go on walks with my dog.

About: I’ve been dog and cat-sitting for over ten years for family and friends! I have a flexible work schedule that often allows me to be available during working hours. I work as a therapist, so my schedule is both flexible and has natural breaks and some work from home days, allowing me to build pet care into my routine! Having years of experience with both dogs and cats, I will carefully apply my knowledge of their needs in order to ensure safety. I will carefully follow all directions and requests to ensure safety and effective care.
About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was 13, so I’ve had years of experience caring for animals and learning how to handle different personalities and needs. I’ve dog sat before and really enjoyed it—it made me realize how much I love being around animals. I love both dogs and cats, and I feel really comfortable caring for either. I’m a trustworthy, responsible person who takes pet care seriously, whether that means sticking to routines, going on walks, or just making sure pets feel safe and loved while their owners are away. What sets me apart is that I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, not just “watching” them. I’m patient, attentive, and treat every pet like they’re my own. Pet care fits pretty easily into my routine. I’m flexible with my schedule, so I can plan around walks, feeding times, and whatever each pet needs day to day. I’m already someone who likes staying active and being out and about, so I don’t mind making time for drop-ins, walks, or longer stays. I’m good with sticking to routines and making sure pets get consistent care and attention while their owners are away. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping them safe, comfortable, and sticking closely to their normal routine, feeding, walks, meds if needed, and any specific instructions. I’m very mindful about safety, like making sure doors are locked, leashes are secure, and always keeping a close eye on pets. I treat every animal like my own, so I’m really attentive to their behavior and needs. I also respect the home I’m in and keep things clean and organized. Overall, I try to create a calm, safe environment where pets feel cared for while their owners are away.
“Eve is a delight! Friendly, easy to make arrangements with and quickly connected with our dog, Karragh. Karragh is recovering from surgery and can’t walk far, so Eve sat and read with her! So appreciative!!!”

About: Aside from having two cats of my own, I have fostered over 10 different cats and been a trusted dog sitter for family and friends. My experience caring for multiple animals is what I believe makes me qualified to take good care of your furry friend! I am currently home for winter break from college and since I have a lot of free time, I would love to be able to put that towards taking care of animals. I am very available during the day for pet visits, etc. I also am generally available during the night as well! Considering my cats are very curious, I have developed the good habit of remaining aware of surroundings, things that they may be able to eat, unsafe items, and keeping doors closed. I also have had experience with many different animals allowing me to adjust well to each pets needs!
About: Hi, I'm Leah & I love all animals but I have always been a cat person. I have two cats of my own, Victor & Mazuka. I volunteer for Operation Hood which is a non-profit organization that educates on why trap-neuter-return (TNR) is the most effective & humane way to help with the overpopulation of community cats. Every week I care for 90+ cats at "The Fence" where Operation Hood has established a safe haven for cats rescued from Hood Drive back in 2016. I have made & donated shelters for outside cats during the winter & I have spent time volunteering at the Fredericksburg SPCA. I own my own vehicle & I work from home as a Realtor so I have a lot of flexibility to fit your schedule. References gladly available upon request! My two cats stay indoors. They have tons of toys and room to run and play. If needed, I have a small portion of my backyard fenced in.

About: I have taken care of animals my whole life ! I have had multiple cats and dogs and my grandparents owned a dog boarding kennel, so I have lots of experience with many different dog breeds. I am a single mom and healthcare worker with a flexible schedule! I work locally and love to be outdoors and active with the kids and pets :) I be sure to follow all safety and health protocols. I work in the medical field and I pay great attention to detail. I am super responsible.
“Made my pup and I feel very comfortable about the whole experience. You can tell Carla has a lot of experience under her belt! She gave us plenty of updates during my pup's stay, and even gave some feedback/advice on how we can continue training him. Very well organized, I will be using Carla's services again for sure!”

“Kiran has been amazing with my dog Gus! Have never had any issues and he makes sure to send daily updates. He’s also been great with caring for Gus, who is older and has arthritis, and I never worry about Gus while he’s staying with Kiran. He’s a great person to watch and care for your dog!”

“Luna had a great time playing with Jamar's daughters. She looked happy in all the pictures Jamar sent me throughout the day. Jamar is conveniently located close to my house so I will entrust him with Luna in the future.”

“We couldn't have asked for a better sitter for Emma! Tracey kept us in the loop with hilarious daily updates 😂. They were so welcoming and did everything possible to accommodate Emma’s needs. Highly recommend!”

“Jorge and Alejandra were perfect sitters for Raya and Jellybean! They sent lots of pictures and were very communicative. Plus, the pups seemed to have a great time there. We would definitely use Jorge and Alejandra again in the future!”

“I’m so happy I found Yulia& and Tomas, Lulu have been spoiled even more by them. I love they take care of Lulu as their own dog. I received so many pics of Lulu walk and play with them. They’re the best. Definitely will book again. Lulu would love to stay with them longer.”
