“Leslie is THE BEST! We were a little worried because this was the first time we left our dog with someone new, but after doing a meet and greet we knew our dog Roxy would be in great hands. During the stay she sent us plenty of pictures and videos updates and Roxy was smiling on them haha we could tell she was happy and enjoying her time with Leslie. About: I've had a dog in my home my entire life, and am always the one my friends/family turn to if they need someone to look after their pets. I have also fostered multiple dogs with leash reactivity, and have had some 1-1 work with an R+ (positive reinforcement) trainer to ensure pups can have the best experience out and about in the world while still getting their sniffs and exercise in. I occasionally run outside so I can offer to run with your pup(s) 1-2 times a week if you'd like, and I live 5 minutes away from Baron Cameron park if you like for them to play with other pups during the day at a dog park as well. Or of course we can just snuggle most of the day while I work from home. Well either way there will be lots of snuggles and pets... My last dog passed away in 2025 after a year long battle with cancer, so I have no problem giving medicine and making sure we stay on a strict schedule with food/medicine if that is what your dog needs. I look forward to becoming your pup's new best friend! I work part-time from home. I'm available for day-sitting while you're at work or overnight boarding when you're out of town. I'm typically up by 7:30, have a fenced in backyard, go on walks/runs throughout the day and love going to the dog park if your pup enjoys it! I have a 6 foot fence in my backyard that your pup can play around in. Take 2-3 x 25 minute walks around the neighborhood throughout the day and can occasionally go for 30-60 minute jogs if your pup enjoys more exercise (1-2/week)

In addition to a great walk, your fur-baby gets cuddles, play time, and loads of love. Your dog will never be left unattended or alone in a yard. In my house, your dog can sleep in the bed if they like (and you OK it). My own dog is a 9 year old trained therapy dog. I love animals more than anything, and dogs are my absolute favorite, although I am a lover of all furry friends. As a 30 year old and throughout my 20s I have had a mastiff mix, and now still with my husky/German Shepard mix, Cocoa. She is 9 years old and has been with me every year of her life! I love to take care of her, and will do the same for your pets! I have pet sat for many of my friend’s cats and adore their funny personalities as well! I am currently a student, and my classes are in the evening for a short time, so I have some free time to be able to pet sit and walk your pets! My classes end in the evenings early on so if someone needs their pet checked on and walked/ water and fed I am able to come later on in the evening! I have an apartment with lots of walking space, but can drive to anyone to dog sit or walk, and keep your pet comfy and happy with lots of walks, play time, and making sure whatever their routine is, kept accordingly! About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was a young child. My Bruno (12 lb Biewer Terrier) and my regular daycare friends will keep your pup company - as well as my two attentive and careful children (12 & 9). We will love your pet as if he/she is our own! As a teenager, I raised cockatiels and I volunteered for the Museum of Life and Sciences in Durham, NC taking care of exotic animals of all types and sizes. Now that we have a yard, I've been living my dream of having my own dog (5+ years). It turns out I am great with dogs! • I limit boarding to smaller dog breeds with the rare exception for daycare when I know the family and larger dog plays well. • I work from home, so I will be with them all day. • I have a large fenced-in backyard, where they can get their zoomies out, and go for potty breaks as needed. I go outside a lot, which brings them outside more too (they like to be wherever I am!) • If your dog likes car rides, let me know, he/she can come along for short errands and pickups to and from school. • I can watch other kinds of pets, as long as you can easily transport them to me: Birds, bunnies, etc. using my “cat” rate on Rover. Request a cat boarding and let me know about your pet. • I do not watch cats. We have allergies to them To get started, we will have a meet & greet over video or in person, and book from there. I'm constantly checking that the gates are closed. They can sleep anywhere in our house, and most are comfortable doing so without a crate. When the weather is nice, I'll work on our deck to give them more outside time (because let's face it... these velcro sweeties want to be wherever I am!)

About: We only take hypo-allergenic dogs. We have a great backyard and love going for walks. We have three kids who love dogs. We also have two pups that love to play too! Enjoy taking pups for morning and afternoon walks and letting dogs out to play in backyard anytime. My kids enjoy playing with pups when they get home from school. About: I've had a dog in my home my entire life, and am always the one my friends/family turn to if they need someone to look after their pets. I have also fostered multiple dogs with leash reactivity, and have had some 1-1 work with an R+ (positive reinforcement) trainer to ensure pups can have the best experience out and about in the world while still getting their sniffs and exercise in. I occasionally run outside so I can offer to run with your pup(s) 1-2 times a week if you'd like, and I live 5 minutes away from Baron Cameron park if you like for them to play with other pups during the day at a dog park as well. Or of course we can just snuggle most of the day while I work from home. Well either way there will be lots of snuggles and pets... My last dog passed away in 2025 after a year long battle with cancer, so I have no problem giving medicine and making sure we stay on a strict schedule with food/medicine if that is what your dog needs. I look forward to becoming your pup's new best friend! I work part-time from home. I'm available for day-sitting while you're at work or overnight boarding when you're out of town. I'm typically up by 7:30, have a fenced in backyard, go on walks/runs throughout the day and love going to the dog park if your pup enjoys it! I have a 6 foot fence in my backyard that your pup can play around in. Take 2-3 x 25 minute walks around the neighborhood throughout the day and can occasionally go for 30-60 minute jogs if your pup enjoys more exercise (1-2/week)

He followed our routines for our German Shepherd and overall very cordial. He was adept at handling a large strong dog and had a positive style of interacting with him.
