The latest dog I picked out for the family was very shy and scared. But I bonded with him quickly and gained his trust. I am well aware the duties of house sitting would include washing toys and dishes, mopping if needed, making sure the pets get plenty of play time, walks in parks, cleaning up waste, and giving meds if needed. Also, for your information, I am actively seeking a part-time job, so I won’t be available, as a house sitter, to stay in your home all day considering I’ll need to work and such. But I will spend the nights at your place making sure your pet is cared for by all means necessary. I am working on getting another part-time job to make ends meet, but I can provide a flexible schedule to ensure your pets gets the best service when I am needed for help. As a house sitter, I won’t be available to stay in the house with your pet all day; but will still spend the nights there taking care of your pet. “Hector is amazing with my Carrick and was from the very beginning. I'm disabled and found myself in need of a part-time dog walker. My dog is being trained as a service dog but was also rescued from a shelter and does not trust people easily. Hector asked what commands he knew, what was the best way to approach him, didn't flinch when my baby got anxious during their meet and greet. Hector also discovered the best way to walk Carrick on their first walk - I've never seen him come back from a walk so happy before! I cannot recommend Hector enough. He has experience, is intuitive, communicative, respectful, thoughtful, and takes great care of your fur babies. My little man gets the tippy-tappies when he hears him walking up to the door. A dog that usually takes months to warm up to folks. If you hire Hector you will not be disappointed. You will have a reliable, skilled and trustworthy person to take care of your furbaby.”
About: I have taken care of my own pets as well as looked after some while the fur-parents were on vaca (prepare food, potty times, bath, play/socialization, give meds if needed, walks etc). I’ve volunteered at the shelter, fostered, have experience with deaf dogs & giving oral meds. Currently a student and on my off days, or after school, usually stay in. I’m pretty open and flexible within reason, so don’t hesitate to ask any questions! I don’t like to leave the pet unattended for too long just to avoid any accidents and be present with them. I can crate up to the owners discretion.
