About: I have always had animals around me since birth. Dogs and Cats mostly but some turtles and frogs over the years too:) I work from home and currently have 2 dogs (Big Lab and Little terrier) and a kitty cat. I am excited to branch out from sitting for my friends and family's fur babies to meeting other local playmates. I am very attentive to each personality and want to make sure each is comfortable and has fun. My large South Austin yard is fully fenced, and my boys love to make new friends. My cat Lucy tends to nap and avoid dog visitors- unless tuna is involved, LOL. All animals are allowed on the furniture and bed, but I do own a large crate if that is the preferred routine. Working from home allows me to available for potty breaks, company and play time. I would only be away from the house to run short errands. I am happy to discuss any pick up/drop off schedules. I have a large fenced yard in South Austin. My boys come and go as they please to the backyard for play or to potty. My little dog, Uncle Randy, is known to wander if he sniffs an opportunity, so I regularly check the privacy fence to make sure it is secure. Baloo (my big lab) will want to play with guests after a good sniff but normally gets distracted shortly after by his tennis ball. Uncle Randy (my Rat Terrier/ Chihuahua) barks at new guests but then tends to ignore them and wants more snuggles. My boys are best friends and snuggle up every night. I have never had an emergency while sitting other people's pets but I know the closest/best South Austin ER vet clinics from my 20years of living in this neighborhood.

About: Took a break from Rover as my job was more demanding but now back to having more flexibility and being remote full-time and want to put meaningful time back into Rover. During my time away from the app, I still continued to care for neighbors and friends animals. From puppies to older dogs that require a slower pace and / or specific care instructions. I grew up with dogs, so I have had the opportunity to care for a variety of dogs at all different ages and health conditions. I'm very adaptable to what they need. Have cared for dogs that love a lot of outdoor time and others that just want to lay on the couch. Have also cared for dogs that need special care - inclusive of special diets / eating times, administering medication and behavioral issues with people and other animals. I love love a good game of catch and never get tired of giving belly rubs and scratches behind the ear. I'm work from home full-time, so have plenty of time to care for your dog or cat. I can do walks any time of the day, head to the park or spend time with them in the house so they aren’t alone all day. For dogs, I have no issues taking them on a drive or in a store, if you are comfortable with that as well! I grew up with cats and dogs and currently have two cats of my own and share a backyard with my neighbor that has a dog. I’d care for them as I do the ones I am around every day. They are part of the family! Lots of love :) Most importantly I understand they are all different. So in order to provide the right care, I’ll take the time to ask the right questions and understand your pet so they get the care they need and deserve while you are away.

About: I have been petsitting since my days when I was a dog bather and really enjoy the personalities of pets. They make me so happy! I am self employed and have been trying to get back into my routine after Quarantine. I love taking regular walks, so if I could take your furry family with me, even better! I live in an apt so I would only be able to care for pets within your home. Each household is different, and I adhere to each individuals set of rules for their pets - as we know routine is good! PLEASE NOTE: If I am staying overnight, your pet will be fed breakfast/ taken out but my charge is done by 9am - if I am having to stay thru until lunch, then you will need to choose $30/ dog walking fee (or equivalent of a half day stay) If I am staying longer (until they need dinner the next day - please book a full overnight or 2 walks.) I am available for any clarification, just ask! Thanks. It helps to know your pets routines, if any, as they usually like structure and I am more than happy to accommodate your pets' needs.

“Having Bourbon board with Giovanna was an absolute delight. They got to meet ahead of time and he took to her immediately. He can be anxious and he takes time getting comfortable with strangers, but within 20 minutes they were already bonding. She was very responsive and communicative throughout this experience. She sent the right amount of updates, so I was able to enjoy my time away without any worries. After 5 days with her, he barely wanted to come back home with me! I would highly recommend Giovanna as a boarder if you are looking for a safe and loving environment for your pups.”
