About: I was a pre-vet major with experience handling large and small animals. Now I work in child welfare and have a great home to board pups. I have two of my own, so socialized pets only please. My home is a dog vacation for sure. They have free roam, supervised yard time, and are rarely left alone. I prefer smaller dogs but can take larger ones. About: I’m new to Rover but not new to pet care! My family has always had cats and dogs so I’m always happy and comfortable around animals. I’m very patient, calm and attentive. My cat was very sick when I first got him but his symptoms were very subtle, the vet said had I not been so adamant about getting him checked multiple times, he probably would not have made it. I love all animals and would bring that level of attention to any fur baby that I sit for. I know that each animal requires specific care and is unique in personality and I am happy to work within whatever sitting style would make your pet comfortable and happy. I just graduated with my masters at UT Austin so I currently have a very open schedule! I drive and would be happy to come by whenever you need. I think that it’s really important for your pet to have the care that you think is best. Whatever your routine or situation I’m happy to accommodate to keep your pet on schedule. For example, I am very particular about how I take care of my own cat in my home. He has an automatic feeder and a water fountain so that he is always fed on time and has enough water throughout the day. Each night I play fetch with him for at least 15 minutes to get his energy out before bed. At night time he sleeps next to me the whole time. This is what works for us but everyone’s situation looks different. If you give me a step by step of how your pet likes to be cared for I can assure you I will do exactly that :)

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was little, always willing to take in animals no matter the species. Dogs, cats etc. every animal as always had a home even if was for a short period. I am currently a college student, staying in Austin only for the summer I leave in August on the 19th , while doing this a as side gig I typically have 3 days off every week and I can work after I get of work. I work at a Panda Express near Leander. I do well to take care of animals, long walks and trips to parks. Animals cannot stay with me as I stay with my father and we take of stray cats :)
“Margaret was great! From the second I pulled up with my dog (Rosie), she was very welcoming and made Rosie feel right at home. My dog can be a little nervous at first but Margaret is clearly a dog person and immediately connected with her. I received regularly photos and videos and could tell my pup was having a great time and not missing me at all. Will definitely leave my Rosie with Margaret in the future!”
