I (along with my family) have been fostering dogs with a local dog rescue group in Houston and have worked with many dogs to nurse them back to health and prepare them for their new forever homes :-) Each dog has its own personality and I have even gone through training to help me and the dogs learn together. I'm happy to say that all of the dogs I have fostered have found homes and their new owners just adored them!!!! I enjoy walking , cuddling, playing or whatever activity fits your dog. I'm equipped with a water bottle and doggy poop bags for hot Houston walks. I'm a dog person and really just enjoy dogs. It makes me feel good to help a dog live a better life! I'm all about it! Dogs are free to move around the house but we do have crates available if needed. Our kids love keeping the dogs busy with play time. We do have a back yard but do take the dogs out on a leash for bathroom break and walks as well I work from home, and your dog is free to move around at will. About: In my family there are two loving pets. Max (Husky) is a large fluffy love button. Gambit on the other hand is a small protective and playful shih Tzu with the bounciest tail I have ever seen. They both keep me on my toes with active verbal communication, cuddles, and many slobbery kisses. About: I’ve been caring for pets since I was a child. I use to pet-sit for my parents friends dog/cat. My current pets are treated like my kids, and I have an array of cats and dogs. All of my cats adapted me, and become part of my family. I always talk to them, as if they were a human child. I’m a Huge animal Lover! I will break for a turtle crossing or rescue animal left on a highway. I’m a full time Graduate student, studying Clinical Social work. I am an advocate for animal and human rights. My schedule is flexible and I can be available in times of emergencies. I feed my fur babies in order, cats first then my dogs. The dogs are in order. This prevents quarrels amongst each other. They are conditioned to go to their designated feeding are. I watch all of them eat. Cat boxes are always cleaned before feeding time. The dogs go to their rooms (aka kennel) and wait to go outside, one or two at a time to poop/pee. They can take a good while, but they always let me know when they are ready to come back, inside my home. I make sure to immediately pick up their poop, it prevents the others from stepping on it. I try to water the grass that they poop in. I figure the water hose can act like an outdoor flushing toilette. I have a cat that will pee in my sink. I now have a hospital tub for her to pee in, instead of my sink. She’s k e of the many ways I accommodate and at the same time I prevent her from peeing in my sink. My cats will let me know if I missed a day of cleaning their cat box, they will protest and pop/pee in my dirty laundry basket, bed sheets, or anywhere the. Feel they can reach my attention that the cat box is way too full. Now, I make it a point to clean their box twice a day. There have been a couple of ER visits. If I see they are not themselves, and it’s serious, I will waist no time to take them to the nearest ER. If it’s not major, I keep an animal first aid kit that has bandages, Neosporin and witch hazel.

About: I used to have a dog of my own at the age of 15. He was solely my responsibility, including walking and training him, buying his food, treats and toys, etc. His name was Lawrence and he was a Pitbull mix! He loved snuggles, running around and companionship! I work Mondays, Tuesdays,Thursdays and Fridays from 6:45am-4:45pm. I’m off Wednesdays and Saturdays all-day. On interchanging Sundays I work in the Children’s Ministry typically from 10:15am-2:30pm. I’m available overnights as long as they align with my schedule! I make sure your dog gets a safe, enjoyable, and reliable walk tailored to their needs. Before and after the walk, I follow your instructions, ensure they have fresh water, and secure your home properly. During the walk, I focus on safety, exercise, and mental stimulation, avoiding hazardous areas and using positive reinforcement for good leash behavior. I adjust to your dog’s energy level and health to keep them comfortable and happy. Plus, you’ll get real-time updates, photos, and reports, so you always know your pet is in good hands.

About: I always loved animals, particularly dogs. My parents had an "outside dog" and my college roommate had a Yorkie. I didn't get to fulfill my dream of having my own until I was in grad school. Being said I've had my Lola girl, a four year old maltipoo, since she was a puppy. I promise your dog will be safe and have fun. I will send plenty of pictures and updates :) Currently my job is hybrid. I go into Mondays through Wednesday from 10am to 3pm. I work from home Thursday and Friday, perfect for long weekend trips. As mentioned my apartment complex is gated, but I will keep leashes on for safety, unless you indicate your dog is good without a leash. If you crate train I will happily accommodate. I'm always down for meet and greets. I’m on a hybrid work schedule, so I’ll be home 2/5 days of the work week. I usually work from home on Thursday’s and Fridays . I’m overall flexible with scheduling. I have a balcony where your fur baby can spectate and sunbathe. There is also a dog park at my complex. I also have a fur baby to keep yours company.
