About: I have owned dogs and cats since I was a 14 and I have worked professionally with dogs in caring for them for 3 years. It’s my life practically. I have two dogs and 3 cats of my own. I let my dogs in the morning before getting ready for the day. I let them out before anytime I leave the house and when I get back. I walk them every couple of hours when I am home during the day. My cats get there water and litter changed daily. All animals will be kept separate. They would be leash walked for all potty breaks. They would be feed separately to limit the chance of any unwanted interaction.

About: I have been the neighborhood pet sitter for years. Neighbors trusted me with their senior dogs of 11 and 14, their dogs that had unending energy, puppies of around 1 or so, and cats and even fish too. I love going to the Greenville humane society and walking dogs of all kinds that have no home, and I have also worked on a couple farms taking care of dogs and cats and other farm animals as well. “Shana was very accomodating, taking a last minute request for dog sitting after our normal sitter cancelled. We are yearly sponsors of the Scottish Games at Furman, which is an all day event from 8:30 to 7:30, the Saturday before Memorial Day. I sent requests to four sitters on Rover that morning that were close to our house in Taylors. Two responded they were booked, even though their profiles confirmed availability, and two never responded. It then occurred to me that it would be easier to find a sitter closer to Furman for faster p/u after the event. I messaged Shana at 8:28 am and at 8:30 she replied “Hi there! You can drop him off now if you like.“ Her responsiveness was incredible, and greatly appreciated. Her tiny home community was so cute and inviting, and her location made for a quick and easy drop off and pick up. Our Dachshund, Bandit, obviously found her home (and her lap) very comfortable, as we received several photos of him relaxing on her lap in front of the wood burning stove. He seemed to get along well with her Lhasa Apso, Wally, who was about the same size as Bandit, as we received several photos of them taking walks and napping together on the sofa. I can say without a doubt that we will hire Shana every year for the Scottish Games at Furman, if she is still dog sitting and available (fingers crossed!).”
About: I have been boarding and dog walking for the past 5-years, mostly for neighbors back home when I lived in Maryland. We just moved into Gowensville | Landrum | Travelers Rest area -and we are very remote on 6 acres on Glassy mountain. We are joining Rover, hoping to help us make new furry friends. Our clients had deep trust in us, and we never let anyone down. Each client became a consistent client, mainly because their dogs would get so excited to see us or come to our home. We had one client that used to text and ask if Penny could come to the spa! We work hard to understand your pup, their regular schedule and favorite things to do, so we can maintain as much consistency as possible for our new furry friend. My husband is an excellent trainer, he has taught many of our client's pups to walk nicely on a leash, to heal, whoa, lets go, and ready up! My husband used to show train and show our great pyrenees for many many years. We both regularly get down on the ground and have play time with our boarders. I love taking pics of the pups and sending them off to their parents, so they have visual peace of mind seeing how happy their furry family member is doing. We will provide a short report via text each day. When dogs come to stay, we keep them on what is their normal schedule. Each day has 2 play times, a nice 30 min walk, 1-1 attention in their bed room prior to bed filled with lots of love (I love giving head rubs and reading stories). We will feed | Medicines | Relief time as per your instruction. We are at our best with friendly, non aggressive dogs. For dog walking, I will go to your home or office pick-up your dog, then head out. I can walk your pup, and | or have play time with your pet in your yard. If your friend needs lots of exercise I am very happy to take your pup on a hike of the distance of your choice for a longer visit. We are active, but retired. We have lots of flexibility. Boarding can happen any day/night you can drop off and pick-up at a time that works for you. The more notice you provide, the better I can plan around your pup's needs. I generally hike 4-6 miles 4 days a week. So if your friend wants to join me they are welcome to...weather dependent. Our home is pet friendly, with lots of space and the opportunity to keep fury friends separate when needed. Each boarded dog will have their own bedroom, where they will also be fed privately (don't forget to bring your pup's food (provide feeding schedule), feed bowls, medicine (include directions), any toys, and feel free to bring their favorite bed). The dogs are also allowed on the bed in their room. We have a large basement gym area where we create play time when the weather isn't cooperating.

I have 30 years of experience from bathing, feeding, walking, medicine administration and just loving them to name a few. I grew up with dogs, cats, hamsters, a ferret, rabbits, fish, and snakes. My mom bread cats and dogs and also trained them. She taught our Siamese cat to take baths and hold onto the soap dish during his bath. About: I have found that dogs prefer to be in their own envirement when their owner's are away, so most of my jobs are from repeat clients and referrals for in home stays. Your pet stays in their own environment which is less stressful. As requested by you, we go on walks, mini hikes, car rides, sleep in bed with them, just lounge and watch TV, administer special diets or medicines, drop off at another relative, etc. I am flexible. Your house stays safe with someone home, mail and newspapers picked up, etc. One client always has contractors over for their large remodel. I first became a dog sitter for my 2 grandpups, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels a boy and a girl. My daughter may be the most demaning, pickiest, list of rules person in the world. Her dogs are her children and I know yours are too. So please if you feel bad about leaving them, if you have a weird request I will understand. Since I am semi-retired I have more flexibility as well. I have had dogs who needed me to sit on the floor with them while they eat, want to sleep in same bed as me, constantly want to sit on my lap or next to me. About: I have lived with and been around dogs my whole life. I have experience in dog sitting and dog walking, and I am always up for helping people and especially their furry friends! I also have had four cats who were very opposite from being cuddly to being a bit aggressive. However I still love those fuzzballs deeply. Finally I had three parakeets who were very loud but so fun to have around. I am currently in Taylor’s South Carolina. I am 18 years old and currently do not have a job so I am extremely flexible with my schedule. I can really do any day of the week. I like make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owner is away. I follow all routines closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any special instructions. I also give pets lots of attention, playtime, and affection so they feel relaxed and happy. If I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and always keep things clean and organized. Lastly, of course have fun with the pet and give them lots of love.
About: I started working with animals 8 years ago as a volunteer at a rescue barn. I've volunteered with about 3 other rescues and shelters, from walking dogs to monitoring health conditions. I just want to show all those little furry family members the love they deserve, and make sure they can be well taken care of if you are unable or temporarily absent. I currently only work 7-2 on weekends. Otherwise, I'm wide open and would love to run and play with your pets! We love treats and I'm a quick learner. Your routine, becomes my routine. I prefer to get a play by play of each animal's daily life at home so I can most relate their stay with me in my home to it. From feeding times to walking times and even play times, I love to have a set schedule to make all our lives easier. Of course flexibility is a must, and I'm happy to follow any needs that are seen fit because the animal's well being is top priority.
About: I have been housesitting/dog sitting for about 5 years now, and I LOVE it! I love to show the dogs I’m watching special attention and spoil them ever so slightly. When I’m housesitting while dog sitting, that’s a bonus! Not only do I spoil the dog, but also the dog owners. I enjoy making sure the home is nice and tidy before the homeowners come home. I’ve never had any troubles with any dogs before - we were just meant to be! When you need a dog/house sitter, you can rely on me to care for your fur baby as much as you would! I grew up having a dog, so remembering to let them out and feed them is practically second nature for me! If your dog has a special diet or feeding time, no problem! I take care of the pet as if I’m their owner, showing special care and love while you are away. If needed, I do have a fenced in back yard at my home to take the dog to play around. Even though the dog is not mine, I always make sure they feel safe and loved while you’re gone.

About: I have been boarding and dog walking for the past 5-years, mostly for neighbors back home when I lived in Maryland. We just moved into Gowensville | Landrum | Travelers Rest area -and we are very remote on 6 acres on Glassy mountain. We are joining Rover, hoping to help us make new furry friends. Our clients had deep trust in us, and we never let anyone down. Each client became a consistent client, mainly because their dogs would get so excited to see us or come to our home. We had one client that used to text and ask if Penny could come to the spa! We work hard to understand your pup, their regular schedule and favorite things to do, so we can maintain as much consistency as possible for our new furry friend. My husband is an excellent trainer, he has taught many of our client's pups to walk nicely on a leash, to heal, whoa, lets go, and ready up! My husband used to show train and show our great pyrenees for many many years. We both regularly get down on the ground and have play time with our boarders. I love taking pics of the pups and sending them off to their parents, so they have visual peace of mind seeing how happy their furry family member is doing. We will provide a short report via text each day. When dogs come to stay, we keep them on what is their normal schedule. Each day has 2 play times, a nice 30 min walk, 1-1 attention in their bed room prior to bed filled with lots of love (I love giving head rubs and reading stories). We will feed | Medicines | Relief time as per your instruction. We are at our best with friendly, non aggressive dogs. For dog walking, I will go to your home or office pick-up your dog, then head out. I can walk your pup, and | or have play time with your pet in your yard. If your friend needs lots of exercise I am very happy to take your pup on a hike of the distance of your choice for a longer visit. We are active, but retired. We have lots of flexibility. Boarding can happen any day/night you can drop off and pick-up at a time that works for you. The more notice you provide, the better I can plan around your pup's needs. I generally hike 4-6 miles 4 days a week. So if your friend wants to join me they are welcome to...weather dependent. Our home is pet friendly, with lots of space and the opportunity to keep fury friends separate when needed. Each boarded dog will have their own bedroom, where they will also be fed privately (don't forget to bring your pup's food (provide feeding schedule), feed bowls, medicine (include directions), any toys, and feel free to bring their favorite bed). The dogs are also allowed on the bed in their room. We have a large basement gym area where we create play time when the weather isn't cooperating.

About: I have owned dogs and cats since I was a 14 and I have worked professionally with dogs in caring for them for 3 years. It’s my life practically. I have two dogs and 3 cats of my own. I let my dogs in the morning before getting ready for the day. I let them out before anytime I leave the house and when I get back. I walk them every couple of hours when I am home during the day. My cats get there water and litter changed daily. All animals will be kept separate. They would be leash walked for all potty breaks. They would be feed separately to limit the chance of any unwanted interaction.
“I'm so thankful for how Michelle loved Sass! Even with a special diet and drops in her eye twice a day, Michelle didn't bat an eye at the quirks of my almost 16 year old pups. Since the last time we were away from Sass was when we went on a two week honeymoon in May, I was nervous that Sass would act out. Instead, Michelle was very understanding and loved on her. Finding out that Sassie slept through the night was a huge indicator of how comfortable she was with Michelle! The pictures that Michelle sent made me smile as I saw how Sassie's personality was showing (standing over the vents and taking the big dog's pillow!) and Michelle noticed and appreciated it too! Sassie even made a friend with Miss Olivia! I never like leaving Sass, but now I won't worry as I know that Michelle will not only take care of her, but love on her as well! ”
“I had no issues with them, they were able to accommodate our last-minute booking. Updates and pictures were sent of our dog. We picked our dog up and she appeared to be very happy. I also like the fact that they don’t have a revolving door with 10 other dogs coming in and out because my dog is small, so I did like that a lot. They did have a burned out front porch light, which made it difficult to find the house, but we also did arrive very early but he has since fix that and apologize so I would highly recommend.”
