I had to book last minute, and did not have time to do a meet and greet. This was my first time using Rover, and I selected Jade based on her excellent reviews. My cats are my babies, and I have hired friends and neighbors in the past to care for them when we were gone, only to be frustrated upon return to see that the little I asked them to do, was done very poorly. Due to the last minute booking I was only able to communicate with Jade via messages, but she immediately reassured me that she would make sure our babies were well taken care of. We are in the process of selling our home, so I needed someone who would provide loving care to our cats as well as making sure they didn't track in dirt, and kept things as clean as possible when stopping to care for the cats. Jade went above and beyond, and I cannot thank her enough. My cats are terrified of anyone outside of our family, and because we have realtors showing our home right now, there are a lot of new people coming in and out, which is causing a lot of anxiety to the cats. I asked Jade to ring the doorbell and wait 30 seconds to allow the cats to get to their safe place and hide, to help keep their anxiety down. She did this everytime without hesitation. She made sure the litter boxes were clean, as well as the area around the boxes, which was greatly appreciated. Unfortunately we are moving out of state and I will not be able to use Jade's services in the future. However, if you are seeking someone to care for your animals in a loving way, and a way you would care for your animals...I would highly recommend hiring Jade. About: We have owned our own large dogs for over 15 years and have watched numerous other dogs over the years. We are physically active and are loving, kind, and able to handle large dogs. We have flexible work schedules and are rarely away from the house for more than 2-4 hours at a time. We are able to let the dogs in and out as needed. We take the dogs on walks when we are able to and they are always in a loving family environment. We have a specially fenced dog yard attached to the house and live on three acres, so we have plenty of room for the dogs to run and play. The dogs are allowed into our house and also have a covered porch area for lounging in the fresh air. We have one older cat and one younger cat that can be separated from the dog area as needed (they live mostly in the upstairs of the house). Our dog loves other dogs and is never aggressive.

About: I’ve been dog sitting for about 4 years and have experience caring for pets with special medical needs. My own dog has separation anxiety, depression, and receives injections at home, so I’m comfortable with extra care and medication. I’ve also cared for my cousin’s dog with epilepsy, including administering medication and staying calm during seizures. I love getting to know every pet’s unique personality and treat each one like they’re my own. I’m a student at the University of South Carolina with a flexible schedule that gives me plenty of time to care for your pets. I’d love to start by offering dog walks and drop-in visits, and I’m also happy to provide pet sitting as needed. I always do my best to work around each family’s schedule and make sure every pet gets the attention and care they deserve. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. I have reliable transportation throughout Columbia, pay close attention to routines and instructions, and always provide a calm, caring environment. About: I’ve had pets my whole life and couldn’t imagine it any other way. My cat Chanel has been with me for 5 years and my cocker spaniel Bentley for 1 year. I’ll treat your pets like my own with plenty of walks, cuddles, and love. I know how important it is to feel at ease when you’re away from your fur babies and I’ll make sure they’re happy and cared for. I have a flexible schedule and am able to go home throughout the day and check on your pet if I’m not already home. I am usually home all weekend and if not then your pet is welcome to join my activities! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in a pet‑friendly apartment community with three dog parks, giving plenty of safe space to run and play. I’ll always keep a close eye on them, provide fresh water, and make sure they feel happy, loved, and cared for in a secure environment.
