“This is the second time Amanda has taken care of our dogs and both times I was delighted with the job she did. This time we added a puppy to the mix, a very high-maintenance puppy at that and she handled them with skill and a clearly experienced hand. And didn’t complain at all about the puppy. She also kept us updated with pictures and a video or two and let us know what the dogs were up to. I’m never happy to be away from my pups, but if I must be, I’m glad to have someone like Amanda to take care of them.”

“Maddie is a delight with which to do business. She communicates very well and bends over backwards to work with changes in circumstances and schedules. If the need comes up it would be my pleasure to use her as a sitter again.”

“Jody was wonderful. I traveled to Myrtle Beach from Georgia. At the last minute, I had an issue with my sitter in Georgia. I scrambled to see if I could find someone in Myrtle Beach, and Jody responded immediately. I was so grateful. She quickly answered my questions and addressed my needs. This left me feeling confident that my fur baby would be safe with her. So, we drove 6 hours to Myrtle Beach, met Jody and her fur babies, covered all the essential details, and felt confident Harlee was in good hands with Jody and her fur family.”

“Charles and his family provided wonderful care for my two dogs while I was away. Pictures were sent and messages were promptly answered; easing my worries of not being able to take them with me on my trip.”

“Jacklyn was the best dog sitter ever. She treated our German Shepherd pup so well that he wanted to stay with her instead of coming back home with us :) her super friendly beautiful dog, Stryker, is the most friendly dog I've ever seen. He made my dog feel welcome immediately. I would definitely recommend Jacklyn to all my friends and family without hesitation. My dog Kai can't wait to go back to Jacklyn and Stryker.”

“Janice is the perfect dog sitter. She was very welcoming when we dropped Lily off. Her house is immaculate, yet she allowed Lily to sleep on her bed. I would highly recommend her to anyone visiting the Myrtle Beach area. Thank you Janice for taking such good care of our baby.”

“Sandy kept my Yorkie Gabby when we visited Myrtle Beach. She was very kind and caring and made sure Gabby was feeling at home. Sandy kept me up to date every day with texts and photos of Gabby. She treated Gabby like one of the family. I could tell from Sandy’s texts that Gabby was fitting right in. It’s hard to leave your doggie with someone, but Sandy made us feel like we were leaving her with a relative or familiar friend. My mind was at ease knowing that Gabby was in a loving and caring environment. I would highly recommend Sandy to care for your pet. I look forward to leaving Gabby with her the next time we visit Myrtle Beach. Well done, Sandy!”

“Madison was so sweet & clearly a natural with animals. Her house was very clean & cozy. Our Butter boo definitely enjoyed her time. We weren’t worried not one bit. Definitely will be returning !”

“Amy was a wonderful dog sitter! I was so sad dropping the dogs off because we don’t normally leave them, but she kept us regularly updated and they seemed to have had a great time!”

“Nicole was the perfect sitter for our clingy boy, Boone. I was so worried that while on vacation my dog ( who has seizures & high anxiety) would be upset & worried the entire trip. Fortunately we found Nicole on Rover & my family was able to enjoy some carefree time away exploring the Grand stand while Boone was kept safe. Nicole sent me frequent updates and assured me everyday at 10am and 10pm that Boone had taken his medication ( without being asked to) She sent numerous pictures of Boone enjoying his leisure relaxing on the couch and going for walks. He looked so at home and cozy! On a regular basis I spend every moment of the day with Boone so letting go& trusting someone was difficult but I am so glad that I did & that we chose Nicole in particular. My dog was packed up, happy, and ready to go home with all his supplies neatly stored when I arrived to get him. He smelt fresh & clean. His tail was wagging. My husband & I joked he might not even want to go home with us anymore😂 Thank you so much for excellent care & treating our pet with such compassion!”

“The absolute best! From the moment we met her, I felt completely comfortable leaving Billie in her care. She is incredibly personable, caring, and attentive. Billie came home happy, exhausted from all the fun, and clearly showered with love and attention. She also had a great time playing with her adorable pup! We couldn’t be happier with the experience and can’t wait to book again. Highly recommend!”

She was very understanding with our flight home to Myrtle being delayed due to weather.”

I highly recommend using Belkis for your pet care needs!”

“Shana was FANTASTIC! She took care of my two cats, one being special needs and exceeded all expectations. She came out to my house twice a day for 12 days and left our house looking like the day we left it. This was my first time having someone from Rover come to my house when I have been gone and I felt she was incredibly trustworthy. I would recommend her to anyone and will be using her for all my pet sitting. Please look NO FURTHER when picking a caretaker for your pets. She is the BEST!!!!”

About: I’ve had experience caring for cats through both my personal life and my work at a boarding facility. While working there, I helped care for rescued and foster cats, providing feeding, cleaning, enrichment, socialization, and general care. I also have a cat of my own, so I understand that every cat has their own personality, comfort level, and routine. I’m patient and attentive and will give your cat the space, care, and attention they need to feel safe and comfortable.

About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a pet owner and animal lover, I understand that our pets are family, and they deserve the same love, attention, and care that we would want for our own. I have spent my adult life around animals of all sizes and personalities and am comfortable providing dependable care, companionship, exercise, feeding, and plenty of affection. As a U.S. Navy Veteran, mom, and professional, I pride myself on being reliable, trustworthy, and attentive to details. Whether you're away for a day or an extended trip, you can feel confident knowing your pet is in caring and capable hands. My goal is simple: to provide a safe, loving environment where your pet feels comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you're away.

About: I have had dogs of my own since I was a child. I have been involved in fostering for local rescues & shelters for 5 years I have co-ran my own 501c3 rescue for almost 3 years I do work full time, so I am gone Monday- Friday from roughly 7A.M until 6 P.M. (depending on how far you are from my job). I drive Uber on the weekends during the summer months, but those hours are flexible & can vary based on your pet's needs. I have a fenced yard, but I have 3 senior dogs of my own and because of running the rescue, I usually have a foster dog as well so taking a dog into my home would be more challenging, but if I were to drop in or stay at your home, your dog(s) would get all of the one on one attention &time that they require
About: I love both cats and dogs, and have grown up with both. I have been a pet sitter for many different sizes and breeds of dogs and cats. I have done pet sitting for multiple family members and friends during my college years and beyond. I have a fairly flexible schedule; I am fully available on Monday, I am available most mornings, and I am also available at various times mid-day throughout the week. I am gentle with animals and I am aware of their body language. I am careful with opening/closing doors or gates to make sure animals do not get out or get into a space that they're not supposed to be in. I am also careful to make sure that food is secured properly or anything that a pet might get into. I am detail oriented and will follow instructions carefully from the owner regarding their pet/s.
“Karli did an awesome job taking care of our cat. I appreciate her attention to detail - noticing that his eye was a little goopy. I highly recommend Karli for your pet needs.”

“Emily did a wonderful job with my two cats while I was out of town. My cats are everything to me and she made sure they were well taken care of, and went over and above to leave my home in a better state than when she arrived. One of the best I’ve ever had to watch over my little girls!”

“Amanda did a great job taking care of my cat Pebbles! Normally, my cat is miserable when she is boarded, but she had a great time with Amanda and even allowed Amanda to hold her by the end of the visit! I really enjoyed getting pictures each day of my cat exploding Amanda’s house. Amanda was also flexible about when I could drop off and pick up my cat when my schedule changed, and she refunded me $30 when I needed to leave a day earlier than expected. Would definitely recommend!”

“Khirah is a five star pet sitter. We have two shy cats and she tried hard to find the kitties during each daily visit. We appreciated the daily photos and updates. We felt vey comfortable with Khirah taking care of our pets and we look forward to asking her to pet sit in the future!”

About: As a pet owner for 20+ years, I have been blessed to care for dogs through every stage of life—from puppies to seniors, including a blind dog and one with mobility challenges. While I am new to Rover, I am not new to the genuine attention, patience, and love that fur babies deserve. My experience also includes completing individual and group K-9 training courses with my own dogs. Agility is in the mix as well, so the back yard is often home to hoops, jumps, tunnels, and weave poles...oh my! Currently, I work full-time, Monday - Thursdays, and half-days on Fridays. Evenings and weekends are dedicated to adventures, cuddles, and the like with my English Spring Spaniel, Granger. Please feel encouraged to message me about dates, times, and the like. If able, I will happily make accommodations. I have a spacious fenced in yard for "fun and run". Crates are preferred for overnight stays. Furbo and Ring are on premises for extra safety and security.

“My husband and I travelled to Myrtle Beach, SC for 9 days with our Siberian husky, Sansa and we were able to golf 6 times with Craig taking Sansa for walks. This was our first experience with Rover and it was great. We really liked being able to see the walk routes, start/finish times, photos and the notes. We met Craig and Sansa seemed very happy to meet him. We will definitely look for Craig if we come back to MB.”

About: Back in 2022 I had one girl ask if I can watch her dog and I told her of course I love dogs and then after that I had so many more people asked me after I told them that I watch dogs and cats and ever since then I absolutely loved what I did. Seeing different types of pets with different personalities made me love it more. So I work throughout the week and I wanted to start only on the weekends first just to get myself through the door but maybe in the future I can make this a full time job Mostly a lot of the animals I took care of I got to be apart of there homes all of them so I got to stay over take care of them play with them take them on long walks feed them and just show them lots and lots of love and attention cause that’s what they need. Every animal is different so whatever the client tells me I will follow instructions through and I love to send lots of pictures of there animals to clients to let them know they are safe and in good hands
About: We don't deserve dogs. They give affection and trust without reservation. For that, they get special care. It's a precious and rare gift. Gratitude and respect given. But...boundaries. I happily retired last year and considered dog day care or boarding businesses. For now, I like the idea of caring for pets in their natural environment. I have experience with horses and goats. I also pet and house sit in the Hawaiian islands as well as the American Southwest. I don't have a home arrangement where I can normally care for a pet however I will entertain special circumstances if an unusual situation occurs.

About: Growing up around animals I've always been a caregiver to animals & pets even if they weren't mine. I have spent over a decade pet sitting for family and friends. I understand that every animal has a unique personality and routine. I take pride in providing a reliable, clean, and safe environment so you can have complete peace of mind while you are traveling. Pet care fits perfectly into my day because I have a highly flexible schedule. I structure my mornings around early walks and breakfast feeding routines. Throughout the afternoon, I am available for frequent potty breaks, energetic playtime, and closely monitoring the pets. My evenings are dedicated to dinner routines and winding down with lots of attention and cuddles. When caring for pets in a client's home, my absolute top priorities are maintaining their established routine, home security, and open communication. I strictly follow the owner's instructions regarding feeding schedules, medication, and house rules. I make sure doors are locked, alarms are set, and the home remains clean and respected. To build trust and give peace of mind, I send daily photo updates, log potty breaks, and monitor the pets closely for any signs of stress or changes in behavior.

“Dropped Harley off while my family and I hung out for the day. We are new to SC so this is Harley’s first time at a new sitter and my first time using rover. Ms. Karla and her family was very friendly and inviting. Harley seemed to have a good time!”

“Lauren was welcoming and friendly to our dog and us. She was ready for him to get to know her dogs. Our boy, Ben, was tuckered out from all the fun and playtime he had. Lauren followed my request for his daily pill and feeding schedule; I will use Lauren again if the situation arises. She was very understanding with our flight home to Myrtle being delayed due to weather.”

“Ilana was great with our dog during his 2-night stay. We received multiple updates and many pictures. Our dog was able to play freely with her dog Tony, and was taken on multiple long walks. She went above and beyond on night 1, when our dog was having trouble settling down in a new environment. We appreciated her understanding in this situation, and she did everything possible to make our dog feel more comfortable.”

“Debbie and her family are awesome!! I had a sitter to cancel on me in the last min before labor day wknd. Debbie agreed to keep Rocxi for me for 4 days in last min. They are wonderful people. They are super friendly, warm and down to earth. She really put me at ease. I didnt worry about a thing while we were out of town!! She is our new go-to sitter!!!!”

“Oceana was so great!! She took great care of Ralphie and provided us with updates/photos. We truly appreciated her flexibility with our schedule and I would definitely request for her again if I’m back in the area. Thanks again Oceana for the excellent experience!”

“Khirah was fabulous! My dog (Callie) had a great time! Not going to lie, I was a little nervous to leave my dog with a stranger, but Callie took to her right away! Khirah sent me many photos and videos over the weekend and that was very much appreciated! If I ever need a dog sitter again, Khirah will be the one! I highly recommend her! ?”
