“We couldn’t be happier with the care Matt and Patty provided for our Golden Retriever during the 10 nights we were out of the country. From the very beginning, we felt completely comfortable leaving him in their care. We were able to visit their home beforehand, and they have a wonderful setup, including a large, fully fenced backyard with plenty of room for him to play. Throughout our trip, Matt and Patty sent us frequent updates and photos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. They took him on daily walks around the neighborhood, gave him lots of attention, and it was very clear that he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. What really stood out to us was how they handled a day when he wasn’t feeling well and developed some stomach issues. Matt immediately contacted us, proactively made an appointment with the vet, and made sure we were comfortable with him taking our dog in to be seen. Afterward, Matt and Patty followed the vet’s recommendations closely and even cooked rice and beef for his meals for several days while his stomach recovered. They truly cared for him as if he were their own. When we returned, we came home to a very happy puppy, and we could tell he had been loved and well cared for the entire time. We are so excited to have found Matt and Patty. Finding people you can completely trust with your dog while you’re away is incredibly important, and we feel very fortunate to have found such reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring sitters. “One of my 2 cats is medically complicated with IBD. His prevention regimen requires great attention to detail. He’s also very nervous around new people. So I selected Heather bc of her vet tech background and her “no-fear” technique training. Heather did an overnight stay to start build rapport for an upcoming longer vacation. Much to my surprise, both cats took to Heather right away. Her fear reduction techniques worked well. I could not believe the chummy photos she was sending me on her first stay! Also there was an unexpected wrinkle in my cat’s normal regimen, and Heather handled it as I would have if I were home. I could rest easy. I also like how she confirms and repeats back instructions related to my complicated cat, bc the wrong move could set off a chain reaction of unpleasantries. I look forward to hiring her again for the vacation.”

About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

During my time there, I've taken care of various puppies to their adulthood and senior dogs. About: Growing up I always had animals in the house, dogs especially. I would walk, bathe, feed, and take care of them so I am sure to take great care of your pets My availabily is very open and I welcome same day bookings. I ask for at least a few hours of a notice to ensure that your pet receives the best level of care available. As we know, life can change in a second, so same day cancelations are accepted. Having grown up around animals I have grown accustomed to understanding behaviors and tendencies. I will always make sure to watch your dog to the best of my ability ensuring they are both physically and mentally in the best hands

“Another wonderful stay at Debby’s! Our 1.5 year old poodle (Mookie) just returned from his second Rover stay with Debby. I enjoyed perfect peace of mind during my family’s 4 day trip thanks to all the updates, photos, and videos that she sends each day. I could see that he was eating, playing energetically with the other dogs (in her grassy fenced-in yard), napping on the cool floor on a hot day (just like he does at home), and cuddling up on the couch with Debby in the evenings. At pick up and drop off, it is clear that Mookie adores Debby, and that they have their own special connection. Debby’s genuine affection for her clients gives both Mookie and me a sense of peace and comfort while we are apart!”

“We couldn’t be happier with the care Matt and Patty provided for our Golden Retriever during the 10 nights we were out of the country. From the very beginning, we felt completely comfortable leaving him in their care. We were able to visit their home beforehand, and they have a wonderful setup, including a large, fully fenced backyard with plenty of room for him to play. Throughout our trip, Matt and Patty sent us frequent updates and photos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. They took him on daily walks around the neighborhood, gave him lots of attention, and it was very clear that he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. What really stood out to us was how they handled a day when he wasn’t feeling well and developed some stomach issues. Matt immediately contacted us, proactively made an appointment with the vet, and made sure we were comfortable with him taking our dog in to be seen. Afterward, Matt and Patty followed the vet’s recommendations closely and even cooked rice and beef for his meals for several days while his stomach recovered. They truly cared for him as if he were their own. When we returned, we came home to a very happy puppy, and we could tell he had been loved and well cared for the entire time. We are so excited to have found Matt and Patty. Finding people you can completely trust with your dog while you’re away is incredibly important, and we feel very fortunate to have found such reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring sitters. We would absolutely recommend them and will not hesitate to have them care for our dog again!”
“Dogs came home happy and well balanced! Clearly they had been well cared for and given the proper amount of exercise. Kexin and Carlos sent lots of pictures and videos giving me a lot of confidence and comfort in knowing that selecting them was the right choice! My dogs loved their large, fenced in backyard! My 2 dogs got along beautifully with their dog and cats. They even added some healthy supplements to my dogs’ food that they add to their dog’s food! Will be using them again soon!”
