About: Growing up, my family owned an amazing, but traumatized dog that tended to be aggressive towards strangers. Now, I help care for two very timid, anxious dogs so I understand and can manage dogs of all sorts of temperaments. Old dogs will always have a special place in my heart. She is responsive, pays attention to details, and gave our pups the individual attention they craved and needed while we were gone. She sends great pictures and videos and I could tell from those pictures that my animals all loved her, including my cats! She gave us textual updates on how the animals were doing and knew when to spend more time with one dog vs the other if they seemed to be getting a little stressed with us being gone. About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

About: As a child I grew up with two dogs and a cat. I am a true people person as well as an animal lover! I have taken care of family, friends, and neighbors pets while they are away. I have fostered dogs in the past and currently have two cats at home! I am currently working as a registered nurse so my schedule is very flexible throughout the week and weekends. I work 3 12 hour shifts per week. I'm willing to help out when I can and work around my schedule. I assist with feeding and companionship with both animals in my home and the services I offer. I often do care in the clients home while away on vacation but would also be willing to come over for just a walk or a little play time.

When we are outdoors I never let pups off of their leashes, unless they are on one of my secure leads. I have a wonderful, loving hound named Amigo, who I rescued in 2/21. He is 6 years old, sweet as can be, and absolutely loves the friends he makes having guests Rover stay over. I have a lot of experience with senior dogs, as some of my older clients are starting to enter advanced age. I care for two dogs with diabetes, I am comfortable administration their/any meds. I have several dogs with special needs, if your pup has a condition their routine will be followed precisely. I am also certified in canine/feline first aid.
