I’m happy to have found David and it’s worth the 25 minute drive from Providence. He has a big fenced yard and beautiful neighborhood.”

About: I have lived with, raised, and cared for multiple dogs at once for my entire life. I have grown up with retrievers, shibas, Rhodesian ridgebacks, and all manner of rescues. As a dog sitter, I have walked, played with, and done multi-day overnights with all kinds of canines, from timid greyhounds to rambunctious collies. I lead an active lifestyle and take my shiba for at least three 2-mile walks each day, plus weekend hikes and trips to the dog park. I am a freelance writer, so I have a very flexible schedule. About: Mason and I have both had cats as kids. Between the two of us, we have experience with cats, dogs, bunnies, rats, mice, hamsters, Guinae pigs, and even a little experience with birds. Though new to Rover itself, we have housesat many times for family and friends as well as a few freelance clients, taking care dogs and cats as well as chickens and even turtles. We live with my parents and their two dogs and two cats, whom we take care of when they go out of town. From the time I was born, there has never been a time where there wasn't a cat in my house. I love cats so much! I'm often torn between being a cat or a dog person, but find that the kitties usually have my heart. About: Growing up, I’ve always had a ton of animals in the house. Since I was a teenager, I have house-sat/animal-sat for family members and family friends. If I take care of your pet, they have my attention and of course love <3 I work fully remote, so I have tons of flexibility in my schedule, including availability during the weekday, evenings, and on weekends! Happy to hang out all day with your pet. Your pet’s safety is always my priority. As someone with pets myself, I understand the stress that occurs when you need someone else to take care of them for a time. About: Retired military medic used to have and to help friends and battle buddies when their animals had to go when they had to go overseas or on TDY work trips and things like that also help friends and things too. I am very by the book so if you leave me a list of rules and what needs to happen I'll make sure it gets done. I have a very open schedule. I work from home so if you need me at any point in time I can make it fit within my schedule. For the safety of your pets and things, I usually like to do a quick visit to make sure that we're going to get along. I know if it is a cat that a lot of times trust needs to be earned with them and that you can't just pull them out from wherever they're hiding a lot of times it's earning their trust for them to be come out and be friendly. You do not force it on them.

“I brought my beloved Pomeranian Samara to Zoe this week. She spent two nights and when I picked her up she was happy and very tired from all her playing with another little dog. Zoe has a fenced back yard and Samara was free to run unleashed and enjoying zoomies. Zoe kept me updated with photos throughout the stay. I felt so grateful for Zoe's outstanding and kind care. I will definitely trust her again.”
