About: I have been dog sitting for friends on and off since I can remember and always grew up around animals. I love to stay active and move but also just sit and play and take care of dogs and cats. I always seem to know just the right spot to rub with all the cute adorable dogs which is all of them! I understand that they come in all sizes and all have different personalities and I can’t wait to meet them! Spending time with any animal never seems to disappoint me and will always bring a smile to my face with their beautiful tail wags and smiling. I have been walking dogs using Wag previous to this Currently part time working and looking for extra time with some new furry friends! About: Experienced with small dogs (yorkie) to large dogs (German shepherds). Grew up having small dogs and now own bigger ones :) also have experience with cat sitting / drop ins. Experienced with prong collars & shock collars. I WFH so I am able to stay at your house with the pet and work from there if needed. I am an active gym goer so just need 2-3 hours to my myself each day for that. I can also pop in for visits during those days pretty easily and stop by for walks I make sure dogs get the exercise they need everyday so that they sleep well at night. Without proper walks throughout the day, dogs don’t get the stimulation they need!

About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

I am an active gym goer so just need 2-3 hours to my myself each day for that. I can also pop in for visits during those days pretty easily and stop by for walks I make sure dogs get the exercise they need everyday so that they sleep well at night. Without proper walks throughout the day, dogs don’t get the stimulation they need!
