About: I’ve been taking care of dogs basically my whole life. I worked at a kennel for 3 years and still work at one to this day, and had dogs as pets for years. About: Me and my family have been around dachshunds for over 10 years. A little biased, but would love to share the love to other dogs! I currently work from home and take my dog out regularly throughout the day. She gets breakfast and dinner and her monthly medications. She gets too much attention, but that’s our fault:) I have a back fenced in porch that I have a grassy area for my dog to relieve herself, as well as an unfenced front yard. If the front yard were to be used, we keep our dog on the leash for safety. Our stairs are gated to prevent any injuries.

About: Growing up in a big dog- and cat-loving home, my affinity for animals was realized at an early age. I’ve been the go-to person amongst family and friends for pet care since I was a kid. I’ve dabbled in this passion on the side my whole life, but am now pursuing it full tilt and hope to build a career in conservational zoology. In 2020, pet care grew outside of my inner circle of friends and family, and I gained clientele I still work for to this day. While in Hawaii from August 2024 to February 2026, I dog-sat for five families on top of my day job, regularly tending to their pets every week (and some every day). This included walks and meals, house calls, trips to the beach, hikes, daily visits to the local dog parks, bathing and brushing, extended stays at my home while owners traveled, and coordinating play dates with other pet-sitters. I’ve handled animals of all sizes and temperaments, administered medication, and adhered to the specific needs of the families in my care. My Pets: My 120lb Saint Bernard/Bernese, Hobie, was my dutiful companion in pet care, living up to his “nanny dog” personality. He was equally as loving as he was loved. My world completely revolved around him while I had him. Thistle and Pants are my two cats. Thistle is a 7 year old domestic long hair, and I’ve had her since she was 6 months old. She has very much been a partner in my pet care as well, having grown up with big dogs and preferring their company over other cats. She gives off that annoyed older sister vibe, but always wants to be near the other animals and people. Pants is a 5 month old Maine Coon kitten, and he makes himself right at home in any space he occupies.
