“I had a fantastic experience with Crystal while she looked after my 9-month-old Snowshoe cat, Mavis, during my spring break. Right from the meet and greet, she knew her stuff. She introduced Mavis to her apartment, and her pet is around the same age, Sushi, and gave us some great tips on helping Mavis settle in. The Blink camera in the room where Mavis stayed was a nice touch, allowing Crystal to check in on her whenever she was out, which was reassuring. Plus, she ensured Mavis got plenty of playtime – she understood Mavis's playful side. I was impressed by how Crystal helped Mavis and Sushi become friends. They hit it off after a little supervised playtime, which made me feel even better about leaving Mavis with her. What genuinely set Crystal apart was her communication. She kept in touch throughout my trip, sending updates and adorable pictures of Mavis. It was so reassuring to see Mavis happy and well taken care of while I was away. My dog was recently diagnosed with diabetes so he requires an insulin injection after each meal, which needs to be very consistently timed. My dog has never been the type to want to run off on his own. We live in the country far back from the road but, because he won't even go outside unless I go with him, a fence or restraint isn't needed. However, I have lived in cities where having dogs on a leash was necessary so I have experience with that - having walked 3 dogs at once at times in the past. I would never let someone else's dog outside without a leash, tie-out, or fenced in yard. My cats stay indoors to keep them, as well as, the birds and other wildlife safe but, if a client's cat is allowed outdoors, I will do as they wish.
About: I recently just adopted my two beautiful cats from the local shelter, Paws, and they’re my life. Cookie is very shy towards strangers while Milk loves everyone at first meetings. About: Growing up my family had a miniature schnauzer and we were lucky enough to have her in our lives for 18 years! About: I have taken care of dogs from puppies all the way to 13 years old. I treat each pet individually with care and care for them like they are my own! I’ve been able to look after pets for neighbors, friends and family! I have a really flexible job that has given me the chance to live anywhere, especially in the summer. I am able to work from home and take care of your pet! I can crate your pet, give them treats, walk/run with them, feed and teach them basic commands or just be their cuddle buddy to keep them company while you are away. My daily schedule is fairly flexible right now except for a morning class at the Y. This is my only part-time job. About: I’ve always been a dog family, growing up with always 2 dogs or more in my family households. When I was 20, I adopted my soul dog Dusty, who was extremely dog reactive. He showed me a lot of how to deal with reactive dogs, especially on walks and dealing with strangers who may not get that their dog may be friendly, but yours may need that extra space to be comfortable. I now also own two cats, adopted from the local shelter Paws and they have become my life. They are very clingy but also shy towards strangers. So I also very understand if you own some shy cats, I would love them just the same! I currently live all year in State College, work full time but still have plenty of time for my cats and still have more time for others. Just let me know 24 hours ahead or more and it can happen! I am fully comfortable crating all kinds of dogs, walking any breed, or dealing with any shy temperamental cat. I really love animals with all my heart, and you have my word when you’re not home- you don’t need to worry about your furry loved one back home.

About: I've grown up with dogs my entire life, at least 8 over the years, plus 9 puppies we rehomed to better lives. My mom and I were always the type to stop for any dog that needed help, so caring for them just became second nature to me. About: I’ve grown up in a house full of dogs my whole life while also helping my mom with Rover. Right before COVID, we rescued a dog, and I trained him and since moving to Boalsburg and reuniting with my dogs I have wanted to bring more furry friends into our house for them to play with! I am home everyday, as I do work from home! I able to provide a morning walks as well as lunch and afternoon/night walks. Additionally, I am totally open to allowing your dog to make itself at home on the couch and bed! I want your dog to feel completely at home and give it a space to feel comfortable and fully itself. I will give them endless love and attention however they desire it!
