She took me outside plenty of times to get fresh air and to feel more relaxed in these new surroundings. She made me sit for treats and always praised me when I did. Her treats were great and I had frozen peanut butter for the first time! Yum!! I got along well with Kim's two fur babies, but I was probably a little too energetic for them. Kim sent lots of cute pictures and sweet informative text messages to my Mom and Dad. Kim has taken lots of courses on how to understand doggy psychology and behavior, and she is very good at teaching us new things. That love for animals has only grown over the years. Today, I share my home with one cat and one dog who are truly part of our family. My pet care experience includes caring for my own pets as well as pets belonging to family members and friends. Our dogs, Spike and Snuggles, were also rescued. Our 6 year old, Spike, came from a kill shelter. He has been a tremendous work in progress. He takes anxiety medication daily and is improving everyday. The same care and compassion I have given to my own pets I will happily share with yours. I am off in the summer and have open availability. Outside of the summer I also have a flexible schedule after 3pm and am available on the weekend. I am available to come to your home to provide all of your pet care needs. In home care, dog walking and overnight care services are available.

About: I have valuable experience in pet care, starting with raising my own golden retriever, who is now two and a half years old. Through that, I’ve learned the day-to-day responsibilities of training, feeding, exercise, and giving consistent attention to a growing dog. In addition, I have always been the go-to person for family and friends when they need someone to watch their dogs, making sure they’re well cared for while their owners are away. These experiences have taught me patience, responsibility, and how to adapt to the unique needs and personalities of different dogs, which helps me provide reliable and loving care to any pet I look after. Since not working full-time, there is plenty of time and flexibility to focus on pet sitting and giving dogs the care they deserve. Being home throughout the day makes it easy to provide constant attention, regular walks, playtime, and companionship, ensuring that dogs feel comfortable and happy. With extra time available, their needs never have to be rushed, and every pet can be cared for as if they were part of the family. There is a spacious backyard that, while not fenced in, provides plenty of room for dogs to stretch their legs and enjoy some outdoor play under supervision. My large house also offers lots of space indoors, giving dogs the comfort to relax, roam, and feel at home. Together, the open yard and roomy house create a welcoming environment where dogs can stay active, comfortable, and well cared for.
