I currently work full time night shift but only have to work 3 days a week, so I am always off the other 4! Even when I am working I don’t sleep the best during the day, so I would still be available some of my working days as well! Always have my dog/ or your dog on a leash when walking for your safety and their safety! I also have a crate if needed.

Pets need to feel safe, and if they are bored they will have bad behavior.

About: I have pet a pet parent my entire adult life. I currently have two dogs and two cats. Our cats, Bella & Nico, were adopted from a rescue situation and both have asthma. Our dogs, Spike and Snuggles, were also rescued. Our 6 year old, Spike, came from a kill shelter. He has been a tremendous work in progress. He takes anxiety medication daily and is improving everyday. The same care and compassion I have given to my own pets I will happily share with yours. I am off in the summer and have open availability. Outside of the summer I also have a flexible schedule after 3pm and am available on the weekend. About: I have had a silky terrier named Lily since I was 8 years old. Although she is small, she has a large personality so I’ve been trained to deal with all sorts of ruff (ha!) situations. I have also volunteered at Husky House Animal Shelter for 2 years. Here, I have had responsibilities including feeding, walking, cleaning cages, and providing waters to dogs from puppies to Great Danes. I am extremely responsible and am looking to make some money this summer before entering medical school in Aug 2021! I go on daily hikes in my local parks so I figured bringing a dog along with me would just add to the whole experience. About: I have valuable experience in pet care, starting with raising my own golden retriever, who is now two and a half years old. Through that, I’ve learned the day-to-day responsibilities of training, feeding, exercise, and giving consistent attention to a growing dog. In addition, I have always been the go-to person for family and friends when they need someone to watch their dogs, making sure they’re well cared for while their owners are away. These experiences have taught me patience, responsibility, and how to adapt to the unique needs and personalities of different dogs, which helps me provide reliable and loving care to any pet I look after. Since not working full-time, there is plenty of time and flexibility to focus on pet sitting and giving dogs the care they deserve. Being home throughout the day makes it easy to provide constant attention, regular walks, playtime, and companionship, ensuring that dogs feel comfortable and happy. With extra time available, their needs never have to be rushed, and every pet can be cared for as if they were part of the family. There is a spacious backyard that, while not fenced in, provides plenty of room for dogs to stretch their legs and enjoy some outdoor play under supervision. My large house also offers lots of space indoors, giving dogs the comfort to relax, roam, and feel at home. Together, the open yard and roomy house create a welcoming environment where dogs can stay active, comfortable, and well cared for.
