About: My name is Monica. I have taken care of pets for over 29 years. I currently have 3 cats both neutered. One is a senior 15 yrs old, then there is 7 yrs and 1 yr. They keep to themselves. If you book me for a Board or even a day stay I promise to have you and your furry friend 100% satisfied. I can also walk them,and do drop bys. Your pet will always have someone around in my home(if they like children). It can be hard to find someone as trustworthy as it is for me. I volunteer and have fostered through Brindle Buddies and Friends. My experiences with dog sitting and volunteering has exposed me to a variety of ages, stages, breeds and sizes! It’s always important to me that when caring for someone’s pets, I am honoring their usual rituals (training, feeding, etc), treating them with love and providing adequate play and exercise! My own dogs have equipped me in other ways as well having trained them both through local dog training facilities and needed to administer medication when needed. My first dog had several behavioral issues that needed constant attention. I am easy going, empathetic and honest. I am a stay-at-home mom as well as a travel agent that works from home on my own accord. I also have access to childcare some days/times of the week which can open me up to fully devote my attention to your pet. In home: I have a very large yard. My dog is contained using an invisible fence. When we host dogs (play dates or dog sitting), we use a 25+ ft tie out that is securely attached to a tree. The tie out creates an opportunity for safe, supervised play with my dog (55 lb mix, 2.5 y/o female), the ability to roam a decent amount of the yard to explore or go potty, or chill in the yard/on my deck. I also live across from a huge park with a track and several nature trails that gives me the opportunity to provide walks of varying distances. My house is two floors, with most of the living happening downstairs as upstairs we only use that space as a guest room and a fitness/gaming studio. My dog gets crated when we leave the house. If your dog is crate trained, this would be my preference for maximum safety and security but I am completely comfortable (if you are) with them having free roam or being isolated in one room; this is only for leaving the house. I would prefer for your dog to sleep where they usually sleep at home. Dog bed, in our bed, couch, crate, etc. In house, of course we will play however they like! Offering toys, bones, chasing games, etc. Whatever you're comfortable with and they enjoy. Clients' home: I will adhere to any requests and boundaries you make. I am comfortable to play, walk, feed, let out, etc.

I have 2 long haired gray sisters I rescued who are almost 2 yo. And I have 2 female bunnies I care for every day. I have always had a dog in my life up until 5 years ago when he sadly passed at 11 yo. One day I will adopt a dog again but until then I will gladly help take care of and spoil your fur babies. About: I've loved animals my whole life. I grew up around them. Currently I have 1 dog who is a Boxer mix. I would do anything for him. He is my life. I can guarantee that I will go above and beyond for your fur babies! I have the time and dedication for all animals. From me they will get all the love and attention they need. I'm great with animals. They always come to me and are very happy. I always reward them for good behavior whether it be a treat or a toy. You're pets will always be in great hands. I work a 9-5 full-time job but will be more than happy to assist you and your fur babies needs whether it be house sitting, dog walking or any drop in visits 😊❤ I first take them out, always on a leash unless otherwise instructed to by the client. I would then feed them and give them water. Afterwards I would stay and play with them and then leave until the next time. If they need to be caged I would always make sure that they are safe and secure in their cage.
About: My family has owned a pet sitting business in Stroudsburg, called IOU Pet Care, for 15+ years. The first job I ever had was going to people’s homes and walking their pups for an hour, checking food and water bowls as well as litter boxes, or even staying the night there. For the past 15 years, since I was 15 years old, I’ve cared for almost every species of house pet you can think of, in just about every way that the owners needed. I genuinely love animals. Playing with them, training them, caring for them, it’s such a rewarding experience for both of us. I have 4 cats and 2 dogs of my own, and they make my life so much better. I’m always building cat walls and catios, new interactive toys for the dogs, and whatever else I can do to give them all the best lives they could possibly have. When working with my family’s business, it’s always been “customized pet care needs.” I plan to stick with that. I have no allergies. I’ve cared for all ages and sizes of cats, dogs, fish, birds, hamsters, and probably a few other species that aren’t coming to mind at the moment. I make sure to feed the pets based on what their owner has prescribed and follow the routine! I also try to provide the dogs as much exercise as I can - if this is suggested -- so they get exercise and get to run around outside. For cats, I always clean the litterbox 2x a day - and spend time with them playing or cuddling. Dogs get loads of cuddles, scritches, and backmassages too. If you have cats that are part time outdoor cats and also indoor cats -- I will only let the cats out, while I am at the house 100% of the time and supervising them, as I want to ensure that your pets are safe.

From laying in bed with me, to an endless supply of toys and treats, these boys get birthday parties and much more! I allow the pets to lay in bed, utilize the sofa and chairs, and have free roam of the house. I follow the client's routines to a T as well in order to maintain consistency as consistency is key!
