“This was our 2nd timing hiring Christian to care for our 18 year old cat who needs subcutaneous fluids a few times a week, plus needs a pill, food, water, etc. He also fed and watered our non-high maintenance 3 year old cat. Christian was prompt, gentle and professional, but was firm and confident in administering subcutaneous fluids (as you'd expect from a professional vet tech). We are thrilled that it worked out so well and we'll definitely hire Christian again.”

About: I’ve been a Dog Mom for 16 years. I’ve also been entrusted to dog-sit multiple neighbors’ dogs, including a wolf/Husky hybrid named Loki; 2 “pitbull” mixes, Dicey and Scooby; and a GSD/Lab mix named Mya who has regular sleepovers at my house. I have experience giving dogs oral, drop, injectable, and subcutaneous IV medications. I take care to pay attention to the temperature outside and a dog’s needs and adjust walks accordingly (no walking on hot asphalt, make sure dogs with no undercoat are suitably dressed in cold weather, etc.). I’m a firm believer in letting dogs experience the world around them through smell, and allow them to sniff to their nose’s content on walks. If your dog is prone to pulling, please have a suitable harness available for use. (I highly recommend PetSafe EasyWalk harnesses.) NO prong, choke, or shock collars! I look forward to meeting you and your pup!! I work from home and my hours are flexible, so I am able to arrange my work schedule around the needs of you and your dog(s)! I always ensure that your dog’s collar/harness and leash are secure so they won’t slip out on a walk. I bring poop bags on every walk, and a water thermos and bowl on longer walks. Food, potty breaks, and medicine administration can all be given at drop-ins. I have experience giving oral medications, eye drops, injections, and sub-q IV drips to my own dogs, and can do so for yours as well with as much care and love as if they’re my own.

About: My family has owned a pet sitting business in Stroudsburg, called IOU Pet Care, for 15+ years. The first job I ever had was going to people’s homes and walking their pups for an hour, checking food and water bowls as well as litter boxes, or even staying the night there. For the past 15 years, since I was 15 years old, I’ve cared for almost every species of house pet you can think of, in just about every way that the owners needed. I genuinely love animals. “For the first time in a long time, my family and I took a vacation out of the country. I was especially worried about our dogs as we've taken them with us whenever we've gone on a trip and they wouldn't be able to go with us this time. I found Marleny and Luis as a first time Rover user and was relieved that they were able to care for our two dogs while away. We had a meet and greet, and a few day visits leading up to the trip and all went well. The dogs were with them for 8 days and my heart was at peace knowing they were being cared for in their home. I sent rationed food, treats, beds and instructions for eye drops and daily supplements. Marleny did not hesitate and accommodated all my requests. I'm very happy to have found a caring home and caretakers. We will be planning more vacations knowing we have a reliable and caring option for Ella and Diesel.”
“Johanny did a wonderful job caring for our Honey while we were on vacation. When we brought her there, her home was welcoming and set up to care for our dog. We received photos and videos. When we came to pick her up, she was shampooed, and even had a little bow in her hair. I would definitely leave our dog in her care again and highly would recommend her.”

“We seriously couldn’t have asked for a better first boarding experience. This was our puppy’s first time away from home, and we were definitely nervous, but Michael made us feel so comfortable from the very first meet & greet. He sent pictures and updates every single day, which really put our minds at ease. When she unexpectedly started going into heat, Michael didn’t hesitate. He even bought diapers so we wouldn’t have to stress after getting back from the airport. That meant so much to us. She did great in his care. We’ll absolutely be booking with Michael again!”
