“Thank you so much for caring for Hershey. We enjoyed seeing the photos and videos. I forgot her bowls and they had some available 🙌🏼 I appreciate it. Thank you !”

“Gwen and family took such good care of Spencer. I love how happy he seemed when I picked him up. It’s clearly a safe and fun place for him to be. Thank you so much!”

“Monica was an awesome sitter for my mahina. She worked with my last minute booking, and was flexible when I needed an extension. I adored the pictures she sent us while I was away. I whole heartedly recommend Ms. Monica as a 5 star sitter.”

“So thankful we found Jahada-Heaven...she is absolutely the best. She is so welcoming, accountable, and caring. Always pays attention to the details and ensures your pets are happy and safe. We have used her multiple times and will continue to do so. It's such a relief to be able to travel and know your pets will be well cared for.”

“If you would like a SUPER dog sitter for your fur baby, Shantel is your answer! She was a wonderful communicator during pre-care set up and all thru our fur baby's stay. (Although she did spoil him just a bit)! There is no question in our family that she will be the only person we request in the future if we are traveling in her area. We hope to see her in Sept and next summer again! THANKS to you Shontel and Jose for being Super awesome to our dog Zero. He misses you both!”

“Leila was a great host for Tye. He enjoyed his stay. Very welcoming and friendly and with this being my first time Leila made my experience a good one and took away all the anxiety I had. I would definitely recommend Leila.”
“Sharon is wonderful!🌸 I can only trust her with my Cindy! Thanks to Sharon, I can go on vacation with peace of mind, knowing that my dog will be well taken care of. Cindy is no longer young and has serious health problems. Sharon always takes care of her with love.❤️”
“Thank goodness for Emily!!! We had a family emergency and she helped immensely. We also had to keep extending our dog’s stay with her day by day. Being able to focus on my daughter’s health knowing that my pup was okay was very comforting. I cannot recommend Emily enough! Thank you!!”

“Maria is a great sitter! She watched our Rocco for 2 weeks, kept us up to date daily with pictures and was even willing to take him to our vet when he was having an upset stomach. Highly recommend and will be using her again in the future.”

“Elaine was great with my fur baby. She has great communication and we felt very safe leaving him overnight. We will definitely use her again after we return from FL in the spring.”

“I can’t say enough good things about Dawn and my dog Milo’s 8 day stay. First off he’s young, just shy of 4 months, so we had concerns that he’d be a handful for anyone. Dawn’s love for dogs and in depth knowledge is clear in every interaction. Milo came back so well behaved it was amazing. Each day we were away we got multiple pictures detailing his playtime with the other dogs and her adorable sons. She continuously made us feel confident in our decision to leave Milo. I would leave Milo again without hesitation. She’s a pro with heart. Thanks again Dawn!!”

“Ana did a great job taking care of our pups! We were a little nervous because it was our first time using the service but she made it easy and kept us updated with messages and pictures!”

“This was the first time that we have used rover to board our dog while on vacation, and we were incredibly pleased with the care provided to him by Johanny. Our dog (Benny) was just diagnosed as being hypothyroid and was dealing with many different associated conditions that required medicines and a lot of extra care. This was why we decided to try Rover rather than just boarding him at a kennel. Johanny was available at late notice and was amazing with Benny. We received pictures each day and she had no trouble administering all the medications. He was healthy when we returned and we are incredibly grateful for the care that she provided. We will DEFINITELY be using her again in the future.”

“I cannot say enough positive things about Abner. He was very communicative from the start and helped ease my anxiety about leaving my dogs with a stranger. Throughout my trip away, he sent photos and updates on both of my babies. My dogs came home happy and I could tell that they were on their own mini vacation over the weekend. Abner was a delight, and I hope to have him take care of my babies again in the future.”

“My Murphy was in exceptional care with Kimberly. In the photos she sent I could truly tell my baby was happy. She provided attention and love. Already planning using Kimberly in a couple months and probably even day visits beforehand. I am extremely satisfied with her service she provided.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Effort
Joann and Angelina were amazing with our dog! My Sully is a very anxious pup and attached to his humans. This makes it hard to leave him with someone new. Joann and Angelina made this difficult thing to do so much easier! Joann texted me throughout the day and even sent me some pictures to assure me that he was okay. Oh and their dog Remi is such a sweet boy and loves people and was so good with accepting my dog as well. Our day went longer than we expected and Joann and Angelina were willing to help out longer than expected. I am so thankful to them for taking care of my dog and will definitely book with them again when needed.

Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
