About: My cat Tom was my first that I had after moving from my parents. I adopted her from the humane society and had her for 10 years. For the last couple years of her life she was diabetic and needed insulin shots 2x per day.

My husband & I live in a very lovely neighborhood in West Linn (Barrington Heights) and have a large, fenced back yard for your dog to enjoy. We have a very friendly Mini-Aussie named Nova and 3 dog friendly cats. Both my husband and I are now retired and we enjoy providing your pet with lots of attention, affection & love! If your pet needs any special attention or meds please let me know and I am happy to accommodate! Your pet will receive lots of personal attention, without a doubt! PLEASE NOTE: Due to insurance reasons: I am not able to accept dogs that are un-neutered, aggressive, or of a specific breed such as : Pitbull, Staffordshire Terrier, German Shephard, Belgian Malinoise, Rottweiler, Doberman, Akita, Chow, Dalmatian, Bull Mastiff, Malamute, Catahoula Cur, etc. I grew up with many of these breeds so please know that it pains me not to be able to accept them! My main objective is always to maintain a safe and harmonious time for all of my pets, my other clients pets and yours as well! I'm currently working Part/time M-F at a nearby school in the morning, but I'm home by lunchtime. My husband is semi retired and is often home in the morning hours when I am at work. About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my entire life and have experience caring for pets of many different breeds, sizes, personalities, and behavioral needs. Being a lifelong pet owner has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and understanding that every animal is different. About: I have been around dogs my whole life! My mother was a dog breeder, meaning I have experience with puppies! I can’t remember a time when we didn’t have a dog in the house growing up, wasn’t till recently that I haven’t had a pet in the home. I’m a single mom to an animal loving 3 year old, who would be my little helper. I currently work in the medical field meaning I’m comfortable administering all kind of medications, whether that be topical, oral, or injectable medications. I have done pet sitting in the past, I have taken care of many kinds of animals, dogs, cats, horses, livestock, you name it I’ve probably taken care of it! I currently work full time, but I am home on evening and weekends, so I’m home starting Friday night to Sunday night to take your pup out as often as possible. During the week I am gone typically 12-14 hours a day, but if your pup is use to that I can make it work to let them out in the morning and then rush back to let them out once I’m home. I live in a duplex with a small fence in area that I can do quick potty breaks and then live close to walking trails for longer outside times. I have a 3 year old daughter who loves to play with animals. I also love close to parks that I can take dogs to if owner is comfortable with me transporting them. I also live close to my sister who has an active dog who loves friends to play with so that is an option if you have a high energy dog that likes friends.

About: I’ve been a dog person for as long as I can remember and have cared for countless pets over the years. I previously had a Shepherd/Akita mix and currently share my home with two very loved Shih-Tzus, ages 12 and 6, so I’m comfortable with dogs of different sizes, personalities, energy levels and ages. I work from home, which means your dog gets plenty of attention and companionship throughout the day. My home has a fully fenced backyard and a dog door for pups who enjoy having easy access to the outdoors. I know how important it is to leave your pet with someone who will treat them like family. I’m attentive, dependable and happy to follow your dog’s normal routine so they feel comfortable and at home while you’re away. And, of course, belly rubs are my love language. ❤️ I work from home and have a flexible schedule, so I’m around throughout the day for walks, potty breaks, playtime, meals and plenty of attention. Your pup won’t be spending long stretches of the day alone—I genuinely enjoy having some four-legged company while I work! I have a fully fenced backyard, a dog door for easy outdoor access, and two friendly Shih Tzus who are used to sharing their home. I’m happy to follow your dog’s normal feeding, walking and sleeping routines and will make sure they have a safe, comfortable place to relax. Since I’m home throughout the day, there’s plenty of supervision, attention and, naturally, belly rubs.

“Our experience with Carolyn was fantastic! Our four-year-old collie is nervous with new people and had previously been boarded with a family member when we traveled. Carolyn did a meet-and-greet with our dog in advance, paid careful attention to all our questions and info, and really helped our high-stress dog be relaxed and comfortable. She was great at communicating and sending photos regularly during the six days our dog stayed at her house, and ensured she got lots of exercise time outside in the fenced yard. Our dog was happy when we picked her up, and we're happy to have a reliable dog sitter for future trips!”
