My husband and I went on our first vacation and were super nervous to leave our 8 month old diabetic puppy anywhere since most boarding facilities are not 24 hour operated. I knew I would stress the entire time if our puppy would be alright. There was a chance her sugar would drop and there would be no staff at the facility. I found Christine and knew instantly she was the perfect fit! Right off the bat she was on the floor loving on our pup who instantly returned the love too. She loved meeting new puppy friends and had Christine's sweet kids to love her too! About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a little girl, and have had 3 of my own growing up at my parents house. Some people think I'm crazy, but I look at dogs as humans. I treat and talk to them as if they were human lol. My family recently got a baby poodle 3 years ago, but I recently moved to Chicago from Cleveland 3 months ago and I miss by dog so much. I have babysat my whole life, and have taken care of small puppies all the way to cane corso. Im very loving with dogs and treat them all as if they were my own. Like I said, everything thinks I'm nuts, but I think dogs deserve the same amount of love as humans. I have my own business and work from home and make my own hours. I joined Rover simply because I miss my dog so much at home and have the time during the day and would love to take care of a little one. My apartment building is very modern and spacious. I have a 2 bedroom and am on the first floor with a patio, I would feel more comfortable taking caring of a smaller dog. There is tons grass and walking areas around me as well.

About: I am a former Registered Veterinary Technician and have worked with animals of all types for years before that at animal clinics. I have also worked in the boarding area of an animal clinic where I was in charge of keeping up with the cleanliness of the dogs' spaces and feeding/letting them outside/comfort. On top of that I have a 1 year old puppy named Vito and had a beagle mix named Skiddles for 13 years before. I follow each owner’s routines and training guidelines closely to ensure every pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I’d be honored to give your furry (or feathered!) family member the same care and devotion I give my own! Available most days with notice. I currently provide heath care for my father & I have my own pack of 3 dogs & 2 cats. I will pay close attention to the parents requests, schedule &/or medical needs. I have nothing but great respect for the clients rules& home. I promise you to provide an experience we’re all the clients needs are met!
About: I have had dogs since I was 8. I have also have had cats all my life. Currently have 2 dogs and 4 cats. Love animals. Love to play and love on pets that I know have great homes. I work from home 3 days a week. So it would be nice to walk more. Don't have side walks in my neighborhood. Love to just walk and explore. I have a fenced in yard, so my dogs tend to entertain themselves anymore. When weather is bad, we play fetch and tug. Make sure they are always fed and have attention.
About: I’ve taken care of a German Shepherd named Kylo for the past 2 years. I recently stopped due to the owner being able to stay home with him full time. I used to house/dog sit, walk, and help with general care including baths, nail trimming, and very very basic trims. I work 3rd shift Monday-Friday. So I will be available between noon-6:00 PM on those days. I am available between 9AM-5PM on Saturday’s and 9AM-2:00PM on Sundays. I will care in anyway needed. I can provide companion, physical and mental stimulation to your dog, make sure they are fed and hydrated, walked and taken to go potty, along with any other basic task you may want complete.
About: Hi! My name is Emily. I am a big animal lover. Dogs have taught me so much about patience and unconditional love. I have a variety of experience with different dog breeds from a Bullmastiff to a Yorkie to golden retrievers and bernese mountain dogs including dogs at different ages from the puppy stage to 16 years old. I am very aware of my surroundings when out with any dog, including my own, to make sure I keep us both safe. I'm currently working full time but have regular set days off and I know my work schedule 3 weeks in advance. I'm very organized with my schedule and appreciate an open line of communication. “Christine is by far the best person you can trust with your furrchild. My husband and I went on our first vacation and were super nervous to leave our 8 month old diabetic puppy anywhere since most boarding facilities are not 24 hour operated. I knew I would stress the entire time if our puppy would be alright. There was a chance her sugar would drop and there would be no staff at the facility. I found Christine and knew instantly she was the perfect fit! Right off the bat she was on the floor loving on our pup who instantly returned the love too. She loved meeting new puppy friends and had Christine's sweet kids to love her too! Christine was able to check my pups sugar and give her insulin also and was super comfortable with learning which helped my anxiety a ton also! While we were away we got adorable pictures and updates that helped our vacation go smooth! I can't thank you enough Christine and family!!!!”
