About: I am a Registered Veterinary Technician and long time dog sitter for family and friends. I love meeting new pets and giving them lots of scratches! I’m a Veterinary Technician and I work at a pretty flexible job where I work 4 days a week and get two hour lunch breaks. Having the extra time over lunch allows me to check on pets mid day and do walks/meds/lunch feedings etc. I usually do care in clients homes rather than my own. However, watching pets in my home can be worked as long as they get along with other dogs and cats. I have two very dog friendly dogs and a couple very happy and cuddly cats!

Now that I am semi retired I have had time to frequently take care of my daughter and son-in-law's Great Pyrenees Lily and love to walk her several times a week or multiple times a day when she stays with us. I'm an early retiree, work part time, and I spend much time with our cat Leo. I also frequently take care of my daughter and son-in-law's dog, Lily, a Great Pyrenees. I love to take my daughter's dog for walks, as I did for over 15 years with our yellow lab Ginger. There is a nice park within easy walking distance from our house. With the alternative being to leave him in isolation at boarding for the entire time or canceling the trip, I was scrambling to find a sitter last minute and we really lucked out connecting with Emily here. She was amazing with Wendle, treating him as her own and I know he loved every minute of his own vacation with her. Emily kept me updated with detailed messages and pictures of Wendle during my trip and had no issues with giving him his medication and taking him on walks and giving him all the attention he needed. I can’t thank her enough for taking in Wendle at the last minute and would recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter in the future.”

“I love my puppies more than anything, so naturally I don't trust just anyone to care for them. So I panicked when I had to go to a convention in Las Vegas. That's when a friend recommended Rover. Thankfully, out of the multitude of people on Rover, I found Emily. She, and her husband, have been truly wonderful in every respect. They took excellent care of my puppies, fed them on time, took them on walks, have them plenty of toys and stimulation, and sent amazing pics regularly. About: I have recently experienced the loss of my own pets. Im not quite ready to get any new pets, but as an animal lover and dog enthusiast there is something missing greatly in my heart. I am eager to utilize my free time to care for your pets. If you or someone you know requires pet-sitting services for a weekend or an extended vacation, please do not hesitate to contact me. This is a new endeavor, and I am uncertain about its duration, but I am committed to providing the same level of care that I gave to my own pets, ensuring your peace of mind while you are away. Please message me if you are interested or know someone who is. 🐶🐱 I am good to take on puppies or senior dogs that require additional care or medicine. I do have a full time job, but am able to be remote. I would glad stay at anyone’s home to sit the pets and add them into my daily routine as I did with my own dogs. Let them out, feed them, walk them, play with them, cuddle them, and ensure they know they will be taken care of under my watch. I can easily take on a crate in my home. I do not have a yard, so I would need to walk them on a leash for them to use the bathroom. Apartment dogs will be great to watch in my home, as they would be use to that atmosphere!
“We had a great experience booking with Michelle & Nicholas! We did a meet and greet to see how our dog Flynn and their dog Waffles would get along, and they became good buddies!
