Astrid is usually quite anxious when she’s first introduced to a new person and a new environment, but she appeared to be more at ease much quicker with Kate at her house than she typically is. Kate sent us regular pictures and updates, was very flexible about our schedule for pickup and drop-off, prompt and easy to communicate with, and we didn’t worry about Astrid at all. He sadly passed away in October 2025 after 12 years together, so it would be an understatement to say I'm more than happy to pour extra love to your pup. Times are tough; starting a new 'negotiations and bartering' acceptance. Reach out, the worst I can say is no! I have discovered that adventures are my ideal experiences and would like to advertise as such! Mountain hikes, kayak paddles (>15 pounds) are my favorites, but I am open to other ideas/training requests! Paddleboarding, swimming lessons...the possibilities are endless. One hour minimum is preferred; gas and travel time to the adventure site are included. I have many mountains, lakes and trails on my list, so I do not see it as fair to charge you for that time! You will only be charged for adventure time. Depending on your pup(s) comfortability in the car, we may travel up to 45 minutes. “Abigail was the perfect cat sitter. I was so nervous leaving my cats for so long but it turns out, I didn't have to worry at all. She came for a meet and greet, learned all their names, and followed every instruction during the entire two week period. I needed twice a day drop ins for one hour each. She stayed for the entire hour, played with the cats, fed them, pet them, cleaned food bowls, replaced water bowls and cleaned their litter. She took pictures of them every time and by the end, my cats were so comfortable with her. I would hundred percent recommend her if you want a sweet, caring sitter who you can rely on.”

Addie seemed relaxed and in tune with Janice from the start. We had an introductory visit before our first drop-off where we could see that Addie felt comfortable and confident with Janice and her family. We could see from the photos that Janice sent that Addie was enjoying her time and getting to know the other animals (cats, dogs, sheep) that are part of Janice's home and farm. We could not have hoped for a better outcome. It meant a lot to us that Addie enjoyed her stay because she has a tendency to experience some separation anxiety, but she didn’t seem to have any that day. Janice has a gentle way with animals and is genuinely interested in how they feel and what they need. Addie received excellent care and loving attention during her visit.”

About: I’ve grown up with Chinchillas, Cats, Dogs, Ducks, Chickens, & Reptiles. My Fiancé & I currently have 3 Cats (they love dogs- but if any issues - can be kept separate in their cat room to create a more comfortable stay for any pet that doesn’t like cats), between me & my partner- someone is always home to give attention to & play with pets. (Aside from when we go to the store or doctors appointments). Your pets will get the best care!!! Someone will always be home with your pets, either I am home or when I’m at work my fiancé Deanne is home & is also a huge animal lover. The only times someone isn’t home is when we’re grocery shopping or at an appointment. We have the rail trail right in our backyard that goes for miles- it’s a great trail to take dog walks on! We usually do that or use tie outs or the dogs leashes in our yard since we don’t have a fenced in yard, but your pets are never left unattended on the tie-outs, someone will be outside with them at all times

About: I have been around animals all my life. Born in the country, cows and horses are most common, but I’ve come to love having dogs, cats, and reptiles of my own! There has never been an animal I couldn’t warm up to, and I love getting to know every pets unique personality. I DO OWN PETS, I just am not offering boarding services or requesting sitting services so I would prefer not to share their details! I am always willing to move around my schedule to better fit my clients needs! I have a ride I depend on for now while I’m learning to drive, so I cannot be out too late unless I’m staying the night. I prefer to pet sit or walk pets at other homes, not my own, as I have a reactive dog with history of abuse, and she is not amicable with other pets.

From my antisocial low energy mutt that I trained to be a therapy dog and acted as a therapy dog for 3 years to my high energy high-maintenance senior German shorthaired pointer as well as every dog from a beagle to a great Dane. We have a nice yard and some great local parks/ trails If the need more exercise. I have an unfenced yard but will keep pups on leash and safe. I do have a two year old cat named Oyni- ideally the dog and cat get along but my in laws love hanging with him so we could have him go there if they don’t. (He is great with dogs)
About: I have had pets throughout my life, and my deep love for animals is what makes me a great pet sitter. Regardless of the creature, I will love your animal and will provide the best care possible. I am infinitely playful and loving. I’m currently a stay at home mom and have a very flexible schedule. I have a lot of freedom while my children are at school between 7-3 and after 4:30 when my husband returns home from work. We have a very sweet miniature Dachshund who LOVES playing with other dogs. I do not have a fenced in yard and will take your pup for walks to ensure he/she is getting exercise. Our Dachshund can play with your dog inside, and can either accompany your dog on a walk or can stay behind while I walk your pup.

“Kate has a very warm demeanor and my first impression when I brought our dog Astrid over to her house for a meet and greet before boarding, was that she would care for our dog as if she were her own. Astrid is usually quite anxious when she’s first introduced to a new person and a new environment, but she appeared to be more at ease much quicker with Kate at her house than she typically is. Kate sent us regular pictures and updates, was very flexible about our schedule for pickup and drop-off, prompt and easy to communicate with, and we didn’t worry about Astrid at all. We were so grateful to the extra time Meghan & Sean spent to make both the humans and the doggo feel positive about the plan. We loved getting pics of the crew on their daily walks.
