About: I have 15 years experience caring for dogs of all ages and sizes, as well as small animals and exotics. I foster dogs for a breed specific rescue, with medical and severe behavioral issues so I’ve seen it all. I care for my own four dogs on a daily basis ranging in age from 3 to 17 and have raised them from puppies. We have play time and snuggle time at different times each day. There is plenty of extra time and love each day to care for your fur baby too. I have a fenced yard on just under 1/2 acre, and my four dogs love to romp and play which is part of their daily routine. They also love long walks or going for a car ride. They are all crate trained and feel that their crate is their special place, so the doors are always open for them to have their alone/rest time when they want to after play time (if they are not trying to claim a spot on the couch or in the recliner). One especially likes the couch and the others love to sleep in bed at night.

About: I’m a graduating law student looking to take pup-filled study breaks while I prepare for the bar exam. I have a big cat named Perry and I love dogs. I’ve had at least one dog my entire life, and most of my family members have as well, so I have a lot of experience with many different breeds. I hope you’ll trust me to take care of your beloved pets while you’re away. Even shy dogs and cats tend to warm up to me quickly, and I love getting them out of their shells. Please note that I am unable to do walks longer than 20-30 minutes. I am available for longer daytime stays but not overnight stays. I am currently a student, so my schedule, while a little sporadic, is fairly open, especially on the weekends. I also enjoy taking walks when I can, so adding dogs to those walks can only make them better! I do not accept clients for boarding. If and when I do drop in visits, I will make sure and follow the owner’s instructions, and primarily make sure the pet feels comforted and doesn’t feel alone.

I started out volunteering in the shelters , & got to work with many service dogs while being in the military. I have experience with many different breeds and sizes. “Where do I even begin? Heidi and her family were life savers. I had a different host that I had booked well over a month before my trip, and on the day of drop off I could not get a hold of her. I was in pure panic mode, and I found Heidi. She lives even closer to my home so that was another bonus. I got all the pictures and updates constantly. She treated my fur baby as if she were her own. She gave my girl a homemade pup cup, sweet potato and rice on her food, and all the snuggles. I know that she was truly in the best hands, and the first host falling through was a blessing in disguise. I would definitely book with her again!”
