When I was younger my family used to always take trips up to Marthas Vineyard, we always had to leave our dogs at a kennel which we realized later on was not the best thing to do for our dogs. About: I have had a dog in my family home since I can remember. This generally included occasional walks and feeding, as well as some training for my most recent dog Gracie. I have also taken care of neighbors dogs and cats for years. The main dog I’ve cared for is Patrick for the past 3 years whenever the family is away for long periods, including walks, feeding, and general company for longer periods. Other occasional instance of dog care include family friends’ cats, dogs, bunnies, or ducks. I’m currently a student at Northeastern with classes from 10am-3am. About: I have had a dog since I was in the 5th grade and have helped raise it since. Within the past 2 years, I took her to college with me for a month each year and had the best time with her. My former college roommate also got a puppy sophomore year (I lived with her sophomore-senior year), so I have helped raise him, and also watch/take care of him when my roommate is busy. About: I grew up in a dog-centric household, however I have taken care of my own dogs for the past 19 years. For the last 8 years, I've had the opportunity to foster dogs through different organizations, as well. It has been an extremely rewarding and educational experience with regards to learning about a multitude of different dogs and how best to deal with different dog personalities and what their mannerisms indicate. The foster dogs that I cared for ranged from puppies to senior dogs and included numerous different breeds. I've had dogs that were incredibly easy, as well as ones that were particularly difficult and high maintenance. These experiences have made me open to taking care of all types of dogs; I'm happy to help administer medicine, eye drops, insulin injections, etc. I've experienced it all! My schedule is flexible because I'm currently based from my home. This basically means that I'm available to provide care in whatever capacity needed beginning from late morning until the evening and any day Whenever a dog is my responsibility I make a point of giving them the care and attention that they require. I'm available to walk any pup beginning from late morning into the evening, including multiple times a day. I currently live in a house with 3 acres and a huge back yard with forest surrounding it, so it is not fenced. However, I'm more than happy to walk your dog if there's a fear that they will run into the forest. I'm also open to dog-sitting for anyone going on vacation! Our house is set up to accommodate dogs visiting and staying due to my previous fostering, which is how I came to have my two current dogs. Also, I'm a firm believer in positive reinforcement to teach dogs acceptable behavior and manners, so no punishments that may traumatize or hurt the pup!

We will give play, attention, exercise, love and create a setting where your pet feels comfortable and not stressed. We should do a meet and greet with our dogs prior to first boarding. The yard here is fully fenced, but I only let dogs out in the yard with supervision. I will give walks/hikes, as you like. Your dog can sleep and hang-out in whatever area of the house is comfortable to him or her. If they prefer a crate, we can. If they prefer their own room, they can have my lower level finished room. If they like to mix it up with the family they can. We cater to your dog and help to diminish their stress and let them be themselves. If the pup is stressed and needs extra attention at night, they can sleep in the bedroom, ( sometimes on the bed, only if you allow that) . I have cared for multiple senior and special needs dogs, providing medication, and special care routines. We look forward to getting to know your loving pet and offering them a home away from home! Pet Care is a dominant share of our daily lives. Someone is here most of the day, so lots of interaction and attention is provided. If we run out , here or there ( as you would at home) each dog get’s their own space to hang-out. Dogs visiting from different families are only together, when supervised. My Home-Away-Vacay-Stay has a fully fenced yard with plenty of toys. Run of the house and cuddles with our family make your pup feel at home.
About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a child. I owned two Miniature Pinschers growing up and I adopted one Australian Shepherd mix that has special needs as an adult. I trained all of my dogs from the time they were puppies until they passed away as seniors. I also volunteered at the Humane Society of Westchester. I've always enjoyed being around animals since I was young and animals tend to feel the same way about me. Animals who are usually timid around strangers are comfortable around me right away and they seem to trust me right away. I feel like connecting with animals (dogs specifically) is a gift that I have. Being a sitter is a great way for me to use that gift in everyday life. I'm able to adapt to the normal routine of the pets that I'm sitting in order to make the process as smooth as possible. I don't have a lot of room in my studio apartment so I'm only able to watch either 1-2 small dogs or one medium sized dog. Large dogs are too big for my apartment. If I'm at a client's home, I'll change my schedule to meet the needs of the pet. I believe all animals are unique and all have different needs in order to thrive in the environment that they're in. About: Hello! My name is Daphne. Since I was a little girl, I have had a huge passion and love for dogs. I have grown up with bully breeds for my entire life. From Rottweilers to Pit bulls, to American Bulldogs. I currently have an Olde English Bulldog who is the princess of our family. I have a huge love for dogs but specifically bully breeds. I understand how strong they are when going for walks and how much love they have to give. About: For the past three years, I’ve volunteered at a local animal shelter with my mother. I completed my senior internship there and now volunteer on my own. In my time at the shelter, I’ve gained lots of dog walking experience, especially with young puppies. I’m familiar with shelter training techniques and with cleaning and sanitation. I have two dogs of my own, one of which is a difficult walker. I know how most types of dog harnesses work. My internship involved spending time in the cat room, during which time I worked with cats of all temperaments. I don’t currently work in an official capacity and don’t play any sports, so I’m free pretty much all the time aside from my volunteer work. I’m going to college in September, so I’m not available for long term arrangements that go past summer. I’m used to animals with a wide range of play styles. I have a minivan and can drive dogs to dog parks, trails, and fields.

I love taking high-energy dogs on extensive, engaging walks (especially on our local hiking trails!) to keep them physically exercised and mentally happy. I am a full-time student supporting myself while working toward my paralegal certification. I take my courses online from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Monday-Thursday), so I am available for in-house sitting, drop-in visits, or whatever your pet may need! Since I offer only In-House Sitting, Drop-In Visits, and walk services, your pets will receive 1-on-1 attention without leaving the comfort of their familiar surroundings. My priority is maintaining their daily routine while keeping your home secure and your pets safe. With every visit, I will provide consistent photo updates and detailed reports after each drop-in/day! Flexible, personalized pet care (drop-ins & sitting): Regardless of whether it's a quick 30-minute stop-in for food, meds, play, and potty breaks, or an overnight stay, I adapt entirely to your pet’s individual needs and routine. I strive to keep homes tidy, secure, and maintained, reducing travel stress for everyone and helping pets feel their best! Outdoor Safety: During walks and outdoor breaks, safety is paramount- I practice attentive situational awareness and strive to maintain large distances from any off-leash dogs, as well as ensuring your pet is safely and securely harnessed/leashed. Overall Safety Precautions: From my rescue experience, animals are curious!- In this, I ensure all doors, gates, and deadbolts are latched securely during every entry and exit, double-check that food and medications are sealed out of reach, as well as keeping a watchful eye out for subtle changes in pet health or behavior. Home Maintenance/Overall Peace of Mind: During house sits and drop-ins, I am happy to bring in mail, water plants, keep your living spaces spotless, or help with any other tasks.
About: I grew up in a dog-centric household, however I have taken care of my own dogs for the past 19 years. For the last 8 years, I've had the opportunity to foster dogs through different organizations, as well. It has been an extremely rewarding and educational experience with regards to learning about a multitude of different dogs and how best to deal with different dog personalities and what their mannerisms indicate. The foster dogs that I cared for ranged from puppies to senior dogs and included numerous different breeds. I've had dogs that were incredibly easy, as well as ones that were particularly difficult and high maintenance. These experiences have made me open to taking care of all types of dogs; I'm happy to help administer medicine, eye drops, insulin injections, etc. I've experienced it all! My schedule is flexible because I'm currently based from my home. This basically means that I'm available to provide care in whatever capacity needed beginning from late morning until the evening and any day Whenever a dog is my responsibility I make a point of giving them the care and attention that they require. I'm available to walk any pup beginning from late morning into the evening, including multiple times a day. I currently live in a house with 3 acres and a huge back yard with forest surrounding it, so it is not fenced. However, I'm more than happy to walk your dog if there's a fear that they will run into the forest. I'm also open to dog-sitting for anyone going on vacation! Our house is set up to accommodate dogs visiting and staying due to my previous fostering, which is how I came to have my two current dogs. Also, I'm a firm believer in positive reinforcement to teach dogs acceptable behavior and manners, so no punishments that may traumatize or hurt the pup!

About: I have had dogs, cats, puppies in my life since I was born. I have had the pleasure of training all types of dogs in many different areas. When I was younger my family used to always take trips up to Marthas Vineyard, we always had to leave our dogs at a kennel which we realized later on was not the best thing to do for our dogs. Emotionally/mentally we could tell it had taken a toll on them, so we started leaving them home with Pet Sitters. That was the best decision we had made. I want to be able to provide the same love and care that our pet sitters have provided in the past, but for your pet! Im currently working privately as a Personal Trainer and a Hypnotherapist Practitioner so my schedule is quite flexible. I also offer Reiki for both people and pets (Dogs, Cats, Horses)!!! I don’t typically board pets but would be willing to work with someone if the situation was right. I am also willing and able to crate your pet if thats something you do in your home!
About: I have had a dog since I was in the 5th grade and have helped raise it since. Within the past 2 years, I took her to college with me for a month each year and had the best time with her. My former college roommate also got a puppy sophomore year (I lived with her sophomore-senior year), so I have helped raise him, and also watch/take care of him when my roommate is busy. My neighbors have also relied on me to take care of their dog when they are away. I really want to get more professional experience in handling dogs more so I'm able to work at dog and animal shelters/places! I am currently attending graduate school in Fairfield, but will be living at home in Ridgefield for the duration of the program (2+ years). This semester (Fall 2026), my schedule is Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 5:00-7:30 PM.Those are my only time constraints and am completely free otherwise! In my home, I treat my pet like she's my child/baby and make sure that all of her needs are met always.
