The petsitter who’d agreed to take him backed out when she heard he had a cough, even though it wasn’t kennel cough. She didn’t blink an eye at the fact that he needed small meals 6 times a day due to the medications he was taking. She understood my directions (and it was complicated!). He never has accidents at home but I know he’s had a tendency towards him when boarded & that didn’t phase Chelsea either. Of course she also shared photos of him. About: I have a very dog friendly home with a dog door accessible to a large fully fenced in yard. If your dog enjoys swimming during the summer months, my pool is dog friendly. I enjoy sending photos and videos of your pup(s) all day long. I visit the dog park for ball throwing and safe, leashed walks 2-3 times a day. At home play breaks in the fenced in yard are common practice in my house. Snuggles on the couch are a must! My yard is completely safe for dogs. I always provide fresh water and enjoy spending time with dogs: petting them, playing with them, talking to them and walking them. Dogs are the best! About: I have great experience with all types of animals in all ranges of age and necessities. I have worked at a barn as well as volunteer at my local animal shelter. I also grew up fostering puppies and kittens as young as days old. I have multiple pets of my own and they are my whole world, I treat any animal with the same level of respect. I work part time but my schedule is very flexible with an enough time in advance. I am free pretty much all day on weekends and most consistently after 3 on weekdays. However my schedule does shift and I am an early riser so I can make most other times work. I currently do not offer home services in my personal house. At a clients home I will listen to whatever instructions are given and keep everything as similar as possible for overnight and drop-in visits to help keep stress levels down for your animal.

I have a deep respect for all animals, including those that are shy or have special needs, and I'm committed to giving every animal the care they deserve. I'm available on most weekends and holidays. During the week I work full time, but occasionally I do have weekdays available, as well as most Fridays in June and July. I can also do late afternoon or evening drop ins during the week - even if I have the day blocked off I can often still do an evening visit, feel free to message me and ask. When introducing myself I allow the animal to approach me first, I take things slow if they're shy or nervous. I'm familiar with dog and cat body language so I can recognize signs of stress. When walking dogs I'm always aware of my surroundings and will adjust the route if I need to.

“Chelsea went above & beyond for us. First she agreed to take on our senior dog for an extended stay on relatively short notice. The petsitter who’d agreed to take him backed out when she heard he had a cough, even though it wasn’t kennel cough. She didn’t blink an eye at the fact that he needed small meals 6 times a day due to the medications he was taking. She understood my directions (and it was complicated!). He never has accidents at home but I know he’s had a tendency towards him when boarded & that didn’t phase Chelsea either. Of course she also shared photos of him. You won’t regret leaving your dog with Chelsea, no matter their age (our dog is 15).”
