About: I enjoy being around dogs, as i have one of my own now, i had dogs growing up and they have always been a friend i needed. I’m always the person at the gathering that spends more time with the dog rather than people lol. I have wanted to become a veterinarian since a kid, although i grew out of that, i know my purpose is to work with the voiceless, animals. (although they have their own voice lol). About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old. I was responsible for walking the family dog when I was younger, volunteered at a shelter walking dogs every Saturday morning for 5 years, and have owned a dog myself for the last 20 years. My current dog, Bruce, and I are a registered therapy dog team, which required a lot of training and building of trust between us. He's a border collie (though he's slowed down in his old age) that needs his daily walks and play time. I understand how stressful it can be to leave your pets with someone. You need to be able to trust them and I promise to take care of your dog with as much love and care as I take care of my own. I have 4 cats, so you pup MUST be good with cats. I work from home everyday so I am able to take care of potty breaks as needed and provide attention and playtime throughout the day. Building trust with an animal is etremely important. I am careful to keep an eye on body language so that I know when an animal wants more or less attention, needs to go for a walk, or needs to play. My own dog has been trained to walk on a loose leash by my side and does not pull. I've had plenty of experience walking shelter dogs who had no training though, so I can handle quite a bit. I regularly interact with my cats depending upon what type of interaction they want. I have two cats who love to play with toys on strings, and two other cats who prefer to be showered with pets. I am a believer that if you pay attention the animal will let you know what it's boundaries are.

I currently have a part time job at a restaurant but have gotten the unfortunate news that they will be shutting down my store so I am looking to have this as a part time job for now then hopefully transition it into a full time job. I have been taking care of animals since my early teenage years starting off with a close family friend and her 2 poodle mix’s. They would be dropped off at my house around 9:00 am and then get pick up at 6:00pm. I have bathed, cleaned, and even trained some dogs (simple commands). In addition, I have also taken care of multiple furry felines and have had many cats of my own so I am also quite familiar with their needs as well. I am wanting to soon be Pet CPR and First Aid Certified. I have always been interested in pet-care I just didn’t know how to go about it until I found out about rover! I will be putting all my focus on pet-care as my full time job. Since I am just starting out I will only have weekday availability 11-9 and will only offer drop in’s and walk services Monday-Friday and house sitting Tuesday-Thursday. I have been around pets for a long time and feel I am able to pick up on signs if anything might be wrong with your furry friend.
About: Hi! I'm a lifetime animal lover and proud dog mama to a 2 year old cavapoo named Rocky. I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets and I treat every animal in my care with the same love, patience and attention I give to my own. Whether your pet needs walks, drop-in visits or companionship while you're away I will make sure they feel safe and loved. Side note-This is totally optional, but my dog Rocky wants to be friends with everyone he meets so bonus if you want your dog to have a little social interaction with him as well! I look forward to meeting you and your furry family memebers! I'm a teacher at home for the summer so I am very flexible and have plenty of availability to care for your furry little loves! I do not have a fenced in yard but I do have a big backyard with a long leash. I live in a quiet, residential neighborhood.
About: I have been a pet owner for the past twenty years. We walk every day. I have experience with young and old, calm and pullers. I also volunteer my time walking dogs at the city animal shelter at least once a week. My schedule rotates each week, so I’m available different days of the week and most times during the day to make sure your pup gets an amazing walk and some quality time. We own one dog right now, she likes to be the only pup and when I’m not walking her, I’d love to be able to take your pup for a walk.
About: Im used to being around different dogs my whole life I’ve had my own dog for three years. I’ve also taken care of dogs for my friends and family. Right now I am not working since and I’m only 18 so I’m available whenever you need me unless it’s when I’m busy and doing something. I care for my pets by having a lot of toys so if they want to play with there toys they can also I walk them so they get the exercise they need.
About: I have been taking care of fur children since 1993. Had my own self trained therapy dog. Also worked as a sales rep for Blue Buffalo and was stationed at PetSmart and Petco .I have been around dogs, cats,birds, rabbits, hamsters and guinea pigs all my life. Even pet sat an iguana. Animals are my passion and I love what I do I am available any hours including holidays. Reliable, dependable transportation . I watch your pets at all times and do not play on my cell phone while walking. I do not charge for the first meet and greet. I have a fenced in back yard and friendly dog; however, I only do dog walking in your home or drop in visits. No over nites. In almost 30 years i have never had a pet get lost or injured while in my care.

About: I enjoy being around dogs, as i have one of my own now, i had dogs growing up and they have always been a friend i needed. I’m always the person at the gathering that spends more time with the dog rather than people lol. I have wanted to become a veterinarian since a kid, although i grew out of that, i know my purpose is to work with the voiceless, animals. (although they have their own voice lol). I’m currently doing this for experience due to being in school full time/work. I plan on advancing my knowledge in animal behavior. I am currently working full time Friday-Sunday. I am free Monday/Thursday. Thursday is not open as a service because i am only available until 12pm. I am very aware of surroundings during dog walks and aware that dogs will be dogs. I’ve studied multiple breeds and i am one to know that some breeds react differently than others, such as my own dog. I think dogs are misunderstanding and people don’t realize they do not think like humans. It is not easy to trust someone with your furry loved one, trust your intuition. I treat others peoples pet like i would want mine to be treated, with respect, patience and love.
