When we arrived, Kimberly greeted us outside with her dog, who is extremely friendly and calm. Even though Remi was on a leash, he handled the interaction well, which honestly surprised me. Throughout Remi’s stay, Kimberly sent pictures and regular updates. She played fetch with him, which is one of his favorite activities (other than eating). They gave one of our dogs the daily medication she needs and even gave her a bath with a medicated shampoo. We feed our dogs Fresh Pet and there were no issues with keeping the food refrigerated. The daily updates with pictures and narrated videos were great. We could see how much fun our babies were having and were informed right away of any issues or questions that came up. We loved that they got long daily walks, lots of play time outside, and cozy time on the couch. Our dogs have different personalities but Alex and Bethany provided individualized care to each of them, making sure our more timid dog was as comfortable as possible. About: Walked and fed my neighbors dog since I was 13, until I moved out of state. Then got my first dog Maia, who is now 7. She had endometria and has arthritis and I’ve been there for her through sickness and health! Also got my second dog Peanut who is the clumsiest bullmastiff ever! He is 4 now. I’m great with big dogs and small dogs. I served in the army where I have dog sat, dropped in for feedings, walked multiple dogs and house sat for multiple friends and colleagues. I’m currently transitioning from active duty and waiting for my Texas nursing license to transfer to a New York. So I’m free to take pups on long walks, spend the day with them or just pop in for feeds! I love playing with dogs and cats. I’m very loving to all animals and will give lots of pets, attention and play with them while caring for them.

About: I am wild about dogs, all breeds. I often think if I could go back, I might have gone to school to be a veterinarian. I grew up with dobermans, cats, riding horses and much more. I have found that most animals love me. I just lost my Golden Retriever, Nalu, after 14 amazing years. Something to be said in that she had more Facebook friends & photos than I do. I just moved down here a year ago from South Glastonbury and most of my new neighbors in Deep River have asked me to watch their animals at one time or another without any sort of solicitation so I believe that is a testament to my character and integrity. About: I started walking my next door neighbor’s Boston Terrier when I was around 10. She knew I was an animal lover, and even let me experiment with some training with her pup. This led to me getting into agility training and just general dog training, which I have started to pick back up again. I am known as the family dog sitter, as my family has a combination of Pit Bulls, Bernedoodles, and hunting breeds, so I’ve worked with dogs of all shapes and sizes and stubbornness! Aside from dogs, I grew up volunteering at shelters where I adopted my own cat when I was 15, and eventually even landed a job as a zookeeper! As far as my own pets go, I currently keep it to my cat, fish and my wonderful Bearded Dragon, Albus. From my own pets, work experience, and love of training, I really have worked with everything from lizards to rodents to dogs to elephants! One consistency throughout my experience is my love for animals, and my passion to improve the quality of their life! Specific skills: - Puppy/Adult dog training - Hoofstock care and training (goats, horses, exotics) - Reptile care I currently work from home, so I have the availability to work from wherever I need to. This also gives me the option to walk/train during my breaks. I have weekend availability as needed as well. I am able to stay over at a pet owner’s home if needed, however I prefer to host pets in my own home whenever possible. All dogs are cared for in my home. I have a large, securely fenced in back yard. During the day, dogs are free to be outside to play in the backyard as much as they wish. All dogs sleep in large crates or X-pens in our comfortable dog room at night, or when we are not home. We have a young cavalier who would be happy to have new friends to play with. For safety, I separate dogs for feeding and if we're out of the house, although it's rare that no one is home. Guests need to like other dogs and people.

About: I’ve always been the girl who is obsessed with dogs. I grew up with dogs and I was the one who took care of them, and that love for caring and training has only grown. I’m the type of person who needs a lot of “outside time” so my soul dog Murphy and I spend a good amount of time playing in the courtyard and going on multiple walks a day; I truly don’t know who’s happier. Currently, I have a very open schedule and it’s just Murphy and I at home all day. Some evenings I babysit for my family out in Spencerport, but kid friendly dogs are welcome to come with me and there is also a large yard (not fenced in, but there is a 30 ft leash set up). I have a fenced in grass courtyard where the dogs can play, and my apartment is very open and there’s lots of room for dogs to play inside. My dog Murphy does not need to be crated when left alone, but I have a small cage in case anyone who visits needs it. Murphy has more toys than I care to admit, so your pups will have lots to play with.

“Kevin was the primary care giver. He was helping me care for my husky with a wound. Kevin was patient and gentle with my dog. I was unsure how to get her foot soaked for 15 minutes twice a day. I am disabled and the vets office wasn't giving me any good advice. He showed me how to get her into the tub and keep her there for 15 minutes without over stressing her. He was very impressive. He obviously loves animals,and has a talent to calm them.”

I live with my girlfriend who is a veterinary technician with over 15 years of experience. Ours is a loving home, with a large, securely fenced yard. Our top priority is to keep your dog safe, feeling comfortable, and relaxed, just as they would be in their own home. I offer boarding, walks, in home visits, and more. I am comfortable giving meds, preparing special diets, and caring for puppies as well as seniors. I used to train and show dogs when I was younger, and can help get your puppy off on the right foot with house training. Dog sitting is my only job, and my flexible schedule revolves around that. I can be available at any reasonable time for pick-up and drop off appointments. I'm home almost all of the time to be with the dogs, only leaving to run brief errands when necessary. All dogs are cared for in my home. I have a large, securely fenced in back yard. During the day, dogs are free to be outside to play in the backyard as much as they wish. All dogs sleep in large crates or X-pens in our comfortable dog room at night, or when we are not home. We have a young cavalier who would be happy to have new friends to play with. For safety, I separate dogs for feeding and if we're out of the house, although it's rare that no one is home. Guests need to like other dogs and people.

The daily updates with pictures and narrated videos were great. We could see how much fun our babies were having and were informed right away of any issues or questions that came up. We loved that they got long daily walks, lots of play time outside, and cozy time on the couch. Our dogs have different personalities but Alex and Bethany provided individualized care to each of them, making sure our more timid dog was as comfortable as possible.
